When I'm in a rush and don't want to venture out for food then I'm a fan of the salads here. They serve all their $9 salads with a "scoop". This means a scoop of chicken, egg or tuna salad, which negates any of healthy aspects of the salad but they are well prepared and taste home made without a doubt. I want to try the Ramen noodle salad, one of these days. I sampled the five cheese mac n'cheese and would describe it as light and not too heavy in sauce and has a sprinkling of bread crumbs. I like how they used cavatappi (spiral noodles).The menu said it had tomatoes, which would make it awesome but unfortunately as you can see from the picture there were none. The meat offerings: pulled pork and brisket hit the spot. Not something I'd crave, it doesn't have the smoky flavors (it's simply slow cooked meats) and the sauce is mild, but for a lunch where you don't want to fall into a food coma after, it's perfect. My one complaint is though, that the prices are a little hefty when salads that are a moderate portion range at $9 and meals go for $12. Also few if no options for vegetarians or those who are gluten free. But I guess for $12 you can have a brisket or pulled pork meal (served as sliders) with a heaping spoonfuls of their mac n'cheese made with spiral pasta and a drink without much effort, so you pay for convenience here.
