She told me to look up Mai at the diamond nail salon and make an appt. I got in same day. I walked in and it's set up very nice with LOTS of nail stations and pedi chairs. They asked me to check in at the kiosk and have a seat. Even tho I had an appt he was with a customer and was running 30 mins behind. I sat and observed , my only bad thing to say is someone hair was all through out the place on the floor. LOTS of HAIR which was really a lil cringy Mai came to me with a big smile and was ready. He's a talker so if you want him to do your nails be ready to converse. He so nice and sweet....funny too. I felt so welcomed by him. I told him what I wanted and showed him a picture he says "that's all? Oh I got you cause that's easy!" I said well thanks. He told me he LOVES to do nail art and showed me some pics of what he's done....VERY TALENTED. He def DELIVERED and with his own lil twist. It's simple and pretty. Pricing was def about the same as Miami in which I was a lil surprised. So many places I looked at in Houston and surrounding areas, before asking my daughter, were charging a kidney and partial liver. NOT Diamond Nails. Very very reasonable for quality. Today on a whim I requested a manicure for my natural nails (I usually only get pedicure) and what a big mistake. Henry used some type of Dremmel machine and now my nails are scratched up and thinner than they were before. I was expecting them to get the ridges removed and buffed. I also did not question the tool he used because I assumed he was a professional. Now I know better. The manager did come talk to me and made a lot of excuses for Henry but really they should train the staff how to do a manicure for natural nails and if he wasn't sure he should ask someone!
