I am in town for a funeral and wanted to get my nails done since I didn't have an opportunity to visit my normal nail artist for my normal gel x nails where I live, Anaheim, Ca. I have visited this location before. I've not had any issues. In my previous visits I selected colored power acrylic. This time I asked for gel X I was told the 4 gel x technicians were gone for the day, so I said give me the basic acrylic and whatever fingernail polish to place on the nails, I chose black. I was charged $55 for acrylic nails with gel black polish. This was done on Wednesday. It is now Friday. The gel polish is coming off. There are bubbles under several nails which I noticed on application day. I thought she didn't file the acrylic correctly, I do not have time to go back to get them fixed. I feel this should not have happened in the first place. I will no longer recommend this place to friends and family members in the area. Update: Five - Ten minutes after posting this review, I received a phone call to correct the situation for free. I appreciate the gesture, although as this is a visit to Houston, I do not have time to visit the location again for them to correct what should have been done correctly the first time. read more

Vidao was great until they changed managers and employees. New employees are not skilled enough to provide services. I stopped going because I went for a wax service and the employee burned me. The first application wax was too hot and I told her. The second application she blew on the wax (unsanitary) and wax was still too hot. I came back the next day and the manager offered a $5 off voucher. read more

I went to get my eyebrows waxed, when I got home I had realized my skin was hurting more than usual and the lady actually ripped some skin off! I called the front desk to let them know, they said "thank you so much for letting us know, I'm so sorry this happened." AND THATS IT!!!! I called Vidao nails to get a price on an acrylic full set, I was told by a male employee that the starting price for that service would start at $45. I called ahead of my arrival to make sure a technician was available and as a courtesy. Upon arrival I was told to check in, wash my hands and pick an acrylic powder shade. I washed my hands and headed over to the table with the powder colors, however before I was able to see any of the colors nonetheless choose one, a male technician asked what color I wanted so I told him "powder pink or a baby pink", he told me to follow him to his station so I was under the assumption that he would have someone bring a few powders around that shade range that I could choose from, that isn't at all what happened. Instead of allowing me to choose a color, he chose it for me, it was pretty although I wanted to see a few options. During the process of applying the tips I noticed one of them was crooked, when I asked for it to be fixed he got an attitude. Before my nails could even be drilled a receptionist walked over and asked the man doing my nails "how much??" He told her he wanted to charge me $60! I chose the most basic set other than length, no design, no special shape, not even glitter so I was extremely confused! The receptionist asked if I was ready to pay while I was still being worked on, how relaxing is that?! When my nails were finished I went up to the front desk to discuss the total. I asked how it was $15 over starting price, the male receptionist at the front told me it was for "shape and length"... I'm okay with paying $5-10 more for that but $15?? I told him there was absolutely no way I was paying $60 for a BASIC set considering the shape is square, which is a BASIC SHAPE! When the nail tech was asked about the $15 charge he said "that's for the length", so you're telling me that whole $15 charge is solely for length and this was never explained to me prior to my service??? Very unprofessional and unacceptable. I ended up paying $55 after the nail tech said he would bring it down to that price, which told me everything I needed to know, the salon apparently doesn't make their own prices, clearly the nail techs run the place, and they severely lack structure and customer service skills. Big NO for me, take your money elsewhere friends. read more

I was thankful that they were able to offer me these services again. So I came here to try it out. They have some very good services. Service 9/10. Just the main person who handles scheduling & decides what customer goes where be breathing down the worker's neck, making the whole experience rushed. They literally made me pay & told me I was good to go... bro my toe nails were still WET. I parked kinda far, I couldn't just walk out with those disposable sandals.. I messed up my toe trying to put on the sandals I brought. There's places that usually help you put the sandals you brought but they could care less here. The guy who did my pedicure was pretty neat & nice. The gel or shellac is $20 extra here. There's other places that do it for $5 extra so ‍ & charge extra $5 if you have shellac to remove. read more

And after they sat me down, I was told that my technician wasn't here. How can this place allow you to make an appointment with a technician and the technician is not scheduled to work. But the worst part. Angel is the rudest person I have ever dealt with, not sure what her title is. But with an attitude like that she shouldn't be working with the public. It was So nice and we got exactly what we wanted. Cindy did french manicure tips on my boyfriend's mom and they looked like her natural nails! I came by yesterday because I was visiting my parents and wanted to get my nails done and my usual spot is on the other side of town. Full set, with gel color. No biggie though, I just understand how this works and I understand these ladies stay late every day to finish all their customers. Upon my arrival a lady with short hair told me to sit and show her what I wanted, when I showed her she immediately said she didn't have time for these nails because she had an appointment, mind you I was also an appointment, but i guess just not hers. Another lady told me to sit in her booth and show her what I wanted, when I showed her I was told that they could NOT do the design that I wanted. Which is really basic and not complicated AT ALL!
