I did my surgery at the hospital and was cared for very well. The next day I was able to go out and did not even have to take the prescribed painkillers! Only took Advil! There was never a time when I was in real pain. Sure you are uncomfortable Since you had four teeth pulled but it wasn't horrible! Now I would never want to have my four wisdom teeth out again but it really wasn't a bad experience and I honestly wouldn't care if I had to go through it again!

The only positive sign was I was taken on time. 2 - I was taken in this room where you stand for your x-rays, there is no privacy as people walk back & forth watching you get x-rays like a freak show as your standing there with your mouth wide open. 3 - The technician could not get the mouth pieces in correctly; I was extremely uncomfortable & in tears from the pain as she could not figure out how to correctly fit them in my mouth. 4 - Now the hygienist comes in, scans my mouth, tells me I have to make another appt for "deep cleaning," and "it only costs $3000 to straighten my teeth & and this practice is the CREM DELA CREM." LMAO!! 5 - Now here comes the dentist who is explaining to me how horrible my teeth are and trying to sell me to wear something in my mouth, may be a night guard but honestly could not understand him. 6 - After the 2 hrs of torture, now they want me to sit with the insurance lady to review what my insurance will cover. I told them I have to leave, just freaking ridiculous, worse than car sales! And to top it off, she says I will call you Monday, never heard from her. 7 - End result, I had my X-rays forwarded to a real dental practice, go somewhere else!

The staff were friendly, but it felt overly performative and, at times, like I was being spoken to as if I were a child. Since it was my first visit, the receptionist gave me a goodie bag, showed me around the office, and even read me their office motto that they apparently read every morning. It felt less like a dental appointment and more like a strange orientation. During my exam, I was told I needed three crowns and one filling. I was shocked because I had not expected to need such major dental work, but I trusted their recommendation enough to schedule a financial appointment to review the cost. That financial appointment is where things really went downhill. I was told the treatment would cost over $3,000 if I paid on the day of my next appointment, but just over $2,000 if I prepaid that day. That immediately made me uncomfortable. I do not understand why a dental office would have a "prepay today" discount that changes the price by around $1,000. It felt like pressure sales tactics, not healthcare. During the financial meeting, I was also made very uncomfortable by the person reviewing the costs with me. I was wearing an FAA sweatshirt, and she asked if my husband worked for the FAA. I told her, "No, I do." The assumption that it must have been my husband's job and not mine was extremely frustrating. She then proceeded to ask what my husband does for work, which felt completely irrelevant and inappropriate since he is not a patient there and was not present at the meeting. She then started commenting about how everyone at the FAA must make good money. In the context of being asked to agree to thousands of dollars in dental work, it felt like another tactic to get me to accept the outrageous cost. After feeling uneasy, I went to another in-network dentist for a second opinion. They found the same cavities but told me there was no reason I should have been recommended crowns. Instead, I only needed a few simple fillings, which will cost about $250 total. Since both dentists are in-network with my insurance, there should not have been a difference of thousands of dollars. I am very glad I got a second opinion before moving forward. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone who is told they need expensive treatment here get another opinion before committing or prepaying.

I filled out pages of pre visit information which included my insurance policy information. Made earliest appointment which was weeks. I arrive for appointment and wait 1/2 hour only to be told my insurance is not accepted and it's 100% out of pocket!!! What a total waste of my time! Rude people at desk. He gave her novacaine injections to numb the area but did not numb the area before the shots. She was the last patient of the day and my daughter felt like he was rushing. As he proceeded to take out her teeth, he accidently took off part of another tooth that was in between. The instrument then hit the back of her throat causing a red sore. That night my daughter was in horrible pain and lots of bleeding from the tooth that he injured. She called me the next morning and told me what happened. I proceeded to call the office manager, who of course, made up excuses for him. This dentist saw me talking to my daughter and then paying. He did not say a word to me about what happened. Never again!!!
