Let me start by saying I was on vacation in Atlantic City over this past weekend and developed a bad toothache on Friday. On Saturday morning, the pain was unbearable so I started calling dentists in the area to see if they could fit me in for an emergency appointment. I left Dr. Santos' office a voicemail and he immediately called me back from his cell phone. We discussed my situation - terrible tooth pain and more than likely an abscess...and most notably, my intense FEAR of going to the dentist due to a terrible experience I had some time ago with oral surgery. Dr. Santos was actually out of state but offered to see me when he returned to NJ in the afternoon. He called in an antibiotic to a pharmacy that he found close to my hotel in Atlantic City and then told me he'd call me when he was close to his office in NJ. He was so reassuring in his words and his subsequent texts throughout the day - he assured me I'd be fine and able to enjoy the rest of vacation. To have that reassurance throughout the day meant the world to me - he even texted me during the day with his ETA. :-) I was anxious but IMMEDIATELY felt I was in good hands with Dr. Santos when we met at his office that afternoon. He actually opened his closed office for me - a random patient from NY who has never even seen him! Who does that?! Dr. Santos, that's who! He made me feel so relaxed - and most importantly, there was absolutely NO PAIN when he examined me nor during the subsequent tooth extraction. I can't emphasize enough how he allayed all my fear and anxiety...talking me through the procedure and keeping me calm. Did I mention it was PAIN-FREE?! His follow-up aftercare was impeccable as well. He also texted me several times in response to questions I had. It is now 3 days later and I feel amazing and best of all, NO PAIN. It is not every day you come across someone as special as Dr. Santos - especially a professional who would take time out of his weekend to open his office to see a patient he never treated. I couldn't wait to share my experience with others to highlight what a special person he is. Dr. Santos now has a former dentist-adverse patient for life! I am happy to travel from New York from now on to have the amazing personalized care he provides! :-)

I am very picky and careful with regard to any proposed procedures to be performed on my teeth. I was amazed at how Dr. Strait was able to address my issue: prolong the life of my tooth, in addition to the skill and artistry he used to greatly improve the appearance of my tooth. I've been in Boston for over 5 years now and still travel to NJ just to get my dental work done by her! I have had everything from cosmetic work (whitening, invisalign) to cleanings to fillings and have been 100% satisfied with everything. The first time I saw Dr. Epple, I was coming off a couple of bad experiences with dentistry and had to be gased just to have a cleaning. Now I can get almost anything done without medication because I completely trust Dr. Epple and her staff. Dr. Epple really cares about providing a pleasant experience and it has made all of the difference to me. My previous dentist had recommended veneers for me, but Dr. Epple came up with a less invasive program of invisalign straightening and whitening. When I look back, I can't believe that I seriously considered filing off all of my teeth to put fake veneers on at age 26, just to fix two slightly crooked tooth. Dr. Epple is trustworthy and reasonable - I know that with her help I can have the dental health and cosmetic appeal that I desire.

Took an ex-ray, said I needed 2 root canals. The dentist said the tooth was a little high & proceeded to grind it down? Well the drill skipped off the tooth, chipped the one next to it exposing the nerve. Furthermore, I was touching my tongue to the roof of my mouth so he could work. When the drill slipped it cut the underneath of my tongue! I went home & the pain was excruciating pain all night. Called them to ask for pain killer they said can't & we can a root canal on Monday, this was Thursday? Went to another dentist. Gave me a shot, 1 root canal, out of pain & ok. Use Brick Dental at your risk. i'm 74 yrs. old & have never given a bad review of a dr. or dentist. Lew, Brick, N.J. PS: Brick Dental wanted to charge $4,500.00 Done for $2,00.00 with a Sunday emergency called in to office.

The only positive sign was I was taken on time. 2 - I was taken in this room where you stand for your x-rays, there is no privacy as people walk back & forth watching you get x-rays like a freak show as your standing there with your mouth wide open. 3 - The technician could not get the mouth pieces in correctly; I was extremely uncomfortable & in tears from the pain as she could not figure out how to correctly fit them in my mouth. 4 - Now the hygienist comes in, scans my mouth, tells me I have to make another appt for "deep cleaning," and "it only costs $3000 to straighten my teeth & and this practice is the CREM DELA CREM." LMAO!! 5 - Now here comes the dentist who is explaining to me how horrible my teeth are and trying to sell me to wear something in my mouth, may be a night guard but honestly could not understand him. 6 - After the 2 hrs of torture, now they want me to sit with the insurance lady to review what my insurance will cover. I told them I have to leave, just freaking ridiculous, worse than car sales! They seem to be unique in that they use the original teeth and are not as complex to install like that of a normal implant. Ironically this doctor was located in the town that I just moved into. The office was called Tuckerton Dental and Dr.Pertrosky was the dentist. Dr. Pertrosky office is like visiting a tropical island as you can see from his website. Dr.Pertrosky has prestigious degrees and board affiliations hanging all over his office but what sets him apart is his considerable skills , his honesty and the caring for his patients. He also has the latest in dental equipment including lasers and the manufacturering of permanent crowns in his office while you wait! Dr. Pertrosky spent unlimited time with me and explained everything in detail about mini implants . He recommended a treatment plan using mini implants that was half the price of other dentists plus taking half the time to complete. I went along with his recommendation and now 6 months later I have a set of teeth like I never had before! I finally can eat and chew like a normal person which I haven't been able to do in years. His office staff is number 1 and go the extra mile to make your office visit a pleasant experience. If your looking for the best you have found it, you won't be disappointed!
