So many people believe our taxes pay for this service but the post office is completely self funded by the sale of their services . Yep , they get all their revenue to pay for everything from postage and other services . The USPS is so very important to each one of us is so many ways . They refused to print out one single image claiming it was copyrighted. Again, no watermarks, no info in meta data, no copyright whatsoever. I support their policy on not printing copyrighted material, but this was not it. Regardless, I chose to have my order refunded and after my refund was processed I thank them anyway. In turn, I was not offered a "you're welcome", "have a nice day" or anything else. Refusing service is inconvenient, but not worth one star. Unprofessional employees, however, and lack of good service deserve zero stars.

There was no formal quote. The "owners" bickered and argued about who was the owner. They misrepresented their service to us several times and never told us what the final price would be until our stuff was ON THE WAY HERE. They parked a truck in front of the house in AK but didn't get any permits; when they were forced to move the truck they did so WITH NO WORD TO US. The truck just...... drove off one day. We thought we were being robbed! But no. It was The Relocators moving the truck to....... where? we still don't know. When I reached out to Deborah about it she said she was leaving town the next day and "Leo" would take care of us. Who is Leo? We didn't know. It took her 2 days to get Leo's contact info to us, and she was snippy and disrespectful in doing so. I was in a crowded noisy place when we were trying to communicate via phone; I asked her to text me instead and her comment was, "The phone works both ways." I didn't hear from her again until 2 days later. Our agreement was that the contents of the truck would be undisturbed, not opened until arrival in OR state. When the truck arrived in OR, it was in a different truck. We had items go missing, including a proprietary shelf to a stereo cabinet. When I asked Deborah about the shelf, she had no plan, no protocol for this situation. She asked me, "What do you want me to do about it?" As of now we have no use of that cabinet due to the missing shelf. A problem for another time. Finally, the billing. Dan misrepresented this process to us more than once, creating even more stress than it was already. He quoted us a service fee to process a cc payment, then said he would waive it. Then he reapplied it without explanation and when I questioned it he accused me of trying to rip them off! Dan was SO OFFENSIVE that I had to deal with Deborah, who wasn't much better. When the rep for the mover shows up in high heels, toenail polish, hollywood hair and lashes..... she's beautiful but she's a MOVER. It didn't inspire confidence, is all. NOT shaming the lady, just saying it looked unpro. This company probably would do well with small moves, or just one big ticket item. But they just don't have the procedures and operations in order to move a large, difficult job like ours. Their price was reasonable, but the way we were treated, and the fact that some of our stuff never made it here, that I cannot recommend this company.

Upon Googling for providers in Anchorage, only Castech seemed able to help. And in fact, their website states that they will pretty much "get you sorted no matter what" which isn't quite how they order it, but that's how i took it. Anyway, i went over there today, and it seems a small family business, and i landed in there literally 1 minute before they were closing for lunch, so i offered to return after lunch. The lady was very sweet, and told me to come on back. She took my photo very quickly, and uploaded it, whilst she asked the gentleman what the British passport photo requirement was, and he knew it without having to look it up, which I am very impressed about, because i didn't have a clue. As i needed either a code to input on my online application, or to digitally upload it myself, i asked if it could be emailed to me. No problem at all. The cost was reasonable, we chose the most attractive photo, i was given a business card, in case anything went wrong, i paid and left (apologizing for rudely turning up at lunchtime) I got home, and uploaded my photo to the online application, and it was slightly too large for the UK required size, so I called Castech, and they instantly made it the right size, and emailed a new photo. It came within a couple of minutes of me calling. I am filled with admiration. I mean, this is how a business SHOULD be run. Super fast, knowledgeable service, i felt that I as a customer, had been put first, they wanted to help me, and instantly fixed the size requirement. I am so impressed by this small business, and have no hesitation in recommending their services, for Passport Photos for us foreigners. Bravo.
