FEDEX is a very shady business ran by a very shady headquarter. They made an error with the shipment because of an internal update to their shitty service, which caused very expensive shipment getting lost and they lied about the delivery by faking a delivery date and time on the same day the same time on all of my shipments I sent that day. They caused the customers to get their money back for not truly receiving their items. I contacted FEDEX CS and got nowhere. I contacted the BBB and got no solution from them. It cost me over $700 and FEDEX never owned up to their mistake. BEWARE and do not ship expensive stuff with FEDEX because they never admit fault even if you buy insurance. Pretty poor visit to Kinko's FedEx which on the outside says FedEx Office, I just had a FedEx package to drop off and I was in no hurry and had a question, there was only one person working there and she acted like she was swamped there where 5 customers in the store. She finished helping the older couple said sorry to a girl and then grabbed my package out of my hands, yeah Grabbed! I said the date is expiring today and didn't know if it was going to be ok, she replied it should be. That's real reassuring. FedEx Office Print & Ship Center - Printing Services Near Me - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

I guess this FedEx office works okay, because my package arrived at its destination, but wow the service here is absolutely terrible!! I have never been treated so rudely, and for no apparent reason! Do yourself a favor, and avoid this place at all costs (unless you enjoy being randomly insulted when trying to ship a package). Here's my story. I was already having a pretty bad day because my expensive new phone had unexpectedly died. Fortunately I was able to obtain a replacement, but I needed to ship the old one to the manufacturer immediately, and it needed to arrive within 5 days, or I would be billed the full price of the replacement. I was given a free shipping label, so I packaged the old phone and took it to this FedEx location. There was virtually nobody in the shop, but a woman employee stormed out like she was incredibly busy, and grabbed the package from me (just like another reviewer mentioned), and basically threw it onto a pile of (what I hoped were) outgoing packages! I was a bit worried that the phone would arrive on time (and in one piece), so I asked if I could get a tracking number. She glared at me, and said no I couldn't have a tracking number, because the shipping label didn't offer that. I asked if I could pay to get a tracking number and insurance (i.e. just create a new label), and she loudly sighed/groaned, looked at me like I was absolutely insane, and asked why I would ever want to do that. Anyways, I was just struck speechless and walked away feeling very upset and uneasy. My main regret is that I didn't grab the package back from her and go somewhere else where I would be treated properly. Avoid this place! There are many other shipping/copy places in town that will do a better job, and will also treat you with respect and politeness. read more

The Tale of Two Reviews Shipping: Top notch. 5 stars. Very friendly. Very helpful. I always get great service when I ship. Copy Services: Ugh! Horrendous. 1 star... and only because zero stars isn't possible. I don't want to buy a card for more money than I will use, then not get a refund on the unused portion. I just want to go in, get some copies, pay for what I get, and be on my way. The lack of customer service here is why I get all my copy work done down the street at Copyworks. I am visiting from out of town and needed a printer, so I stopped at the FedEx Office store. I've used FedEx Office at other locations and have never had any problems, but I ended up leaving this office without achieving my rather humble objective of printing my document. First of all, I agree it is pretty annoying that you can't just use your credit card, but have to use the FedEx card that you buy. Everyone knows that this is a scheme for collecting a couple dollars here and there from people who have unused balances that they never use. The place wasn't very busy when I got there - there was only one other customer in the store and there were two employees, but one left. I decided to skip waiting in line and go directly to the laptop station where I found directions on how to print. Followed the directions and did not receive the expected results, so I asked the associate to help me. She told me that I first had to sign on the Wi-Fi before I printed, which seemed odd since I had plugged in an Ethernet and another cable -- I assumed that one was for the internet - AND the instructions said nothing about logging on to the Wi-Fi. Anyway, logged on and could not get the print wizard to start - the associate was still there when this happened, so she told me to go to My Computer and click on something. I have This PC (not My Computer) and when I went there, the file I was supposed to click wasn't there. The associate said "Weird," left, and that was the end of her assistance. I played around for a while, but finally gave up. Left the store and the associate never said anything (there were still only two customers at that point). I went in to ship my a package to Chicago and receive a return shipment within the same original package that I sent. The personal that I talked to was very friendly and helped me with what I wanted. But I was unable to use the Airway bill nos that I had already sent to the destination and I received different tracking numbers that I expected. This was not much of a concern, but I was billed just to send the shipment to and not for the return package, they said Fedex will bill when the shipment is sent back, although I can see the amount in the bill. Couple of weeks later when I received the shipment I received a invoice that higher then what I was expecting. I called up Fedex customer service they said they were unable to charge for the return. I was like why can't you charge for the return if you could charge for sending the shipment. I went to this store for help and they said they cannot do anything in this regard and calling the customer service might help. I at least expected they would talk to the Fedex service on my behalf to but it did not happen. And to the worst Fedex charged be on top of the invoice for being late while I was working to resolve the problem. I will be avoiding Fedex all together from now on and not ship from this store again. read more
