This fedex was hard to find. However the man at the counter was very friendly and quick. Fedex is expensive if you're the one paying for it.

I keep saying I'll never return to this location again and yet I do. If you want attitude, they've got it on sale, daily. I'm currently leaving this location on a Tuesday and headed to the other local location because the Associate John refused to tell me Houston was a three day ship. He would only say that if I overnighted it, it would arrive tomorrow. Even two day ship, he wouldn't acknowledge that it would arrive on Thursday. Mind you, I wasn't asking for a guarantee, I was only asking what the shipping time to Houston was and he would only say that overnight will get it there tomorrow. When I said I was leaving, he denied refusing to answer my question though he'd just done it multiple times. read more

The facility itself is nice enough, and I am sure other employees are kind, but unfortunately there was a lady at the shipping desk who was very rude. She seems to have a bad track record because you can find her photograph in another one of these reviews. She was extremely rushed and unhelpful and would get so annoyed when you asked even a simple clarifying question. I don't even know if my order shipped correctly because she rushed it so much. It's honestly a little crazy she has been employed here for this long, having this attitude at work the whole time. I went to this FedEx today and it was very hard to pull in, and the homeless block you from pulling in. Once you're inside, you don't get much help other than this one great young person who was helpful. The lady that works there. This is the second time I went there and she was rude and non-helpful. It's like you annoy her with your questions about the computer and the printing. Well, I had a problem with the printer and it printed too many copies and I had to pay for them trying to get the manager inside to help, and he was annoyed That I needed assistance with a refund. It took a long time, and at first he walked away, and I thought he was walking away from me. The three times that I've been there. I've had the same problem. I will not be back not to mention trying to pull out. The homeless wouldn't let me get out. They need to fix downtown Chapel Hill. read more

I usually go here for self-serve printing. The female behind the counter didn't greet me or speak when I walked in, no big deal as I walked straight to the printer. I had tried several times to pay with a credit card but the screen froze up several times. I politely asked her for help. She was looking at her computer screen and appeared to roll her eyes before coming over to the printer. Without looking at the screen, she rudely told me to insert card again. It eventually worked after I started the process over. I thanked her and she walked away without saying anything. I apologized for bothering her. She wasn't friendly, and left me with the impression that she was upset that I made her have to get up. Everyone has a bad day, but what a bad attitude. So usually I go here for the self service print and while the USB reader is broken on one of the printers it usually works just fine, and the staff is friendly. I recently went to the counter to have a larger file printed and had a really terrible customer service experience with the employee with dreadlocks that are bleached at the tips (she didn't have a name tag on). She treated me like I was a complete idiot for asking questions about the various papers (I get thing's professionally printed all the time and know for a fact that my questions are typical), and interrupted me multiple times while I was trying to explain what I wanted. She also snapped at me when I tried to ask a question again that she hadn't answered. Eventually I just told her I'd look for other printing options because I just didn't want to deal with her anymore. The other staff here I've always had a pretty good experience with, but after this experience I don't particularly want to come back here if it means I might have to talk to her, she made me feel like complete crap. read more

This is not about the FedEx Office Print and Ship Center, but it is about the FedEx shipping service in Chapel Hill. I have had many problems with FedEx, and I have been unable to get FedEx to fix them. One is that the delivery driver thinks she or she can leave a package at some place other than my front porch and claim that the package has been given to me. In the last month, a package was left at my mailbox, and once the package was left in the middle of my driveway. Yesterday, my neighbor was left a package that was clearly marked with another address. Again, the driver wrote that they met a person at the door, but the package was just left there for my neighbor to find after 7 p.m.. Even UPS rings the doorbell when they leave a package. The FedEx 800 number is not set up to report misdeliveries, and FedEx has been thoroughly frustrating. I will never ship anything by FedEx again. read more

This FedEx is located close to my job and it's nice to just walk on over and get stuff printed. I needed some stuff copied and cut and Daniel did a great job! The paged were cut perfectly and the quality was amazing. Since I had a good experience, I went back to get something else done and they got it wrong... I didn't notice till I left the store, so I had to go back. The Assistant Manager was very apologetic and fixed my copies in a jiffy! Overall, it will all depend who will be processing your prints on who will produce quality work. I will make sure that Daniel gets all of my prints! read more

Went to print invitations I had designed for a bridal shower. Great experience with the staff guy I worked with, who made adjustments and recommendations to be sure I got what I wanted. I got 12 invitations on 6 sheets of heavy glossy(ish) paper for $12. It was about what I expected to pay, and the product looked great. The guy wanted to save me money, so he worked get get them two to a page and suggested I use their cutter myself to avoid their cutting service fees. I brought my two jpg files (one for the front of the invitation and one for the back) in on a jump drive, and he was easily able to arrange everything correctly even though the files were separate. I'll definitely be going back to print my next project. read more

I went in to this Kinko's recently to take care of some stuff related to a Brazilian travel visa. I can´t remember the name of the guy who helped me, but he was awesome. Friendly, helpful, kind. I've been going to this fedex kinko's for years and it wasn't always like this: It used to be your classic kinko's experience - a grumpy guy/gal who seemed to wish you weren't there. I was at kinko's just a month ago in Columbia, SC that was exactly like that: I just walked out after being ignored for 10 minutes by a person 1 foot in front of me shuffling papers. But the current staff in Chapel Hill has really turned that store around. Highly recommend. read more

We've used FedEx for printer services for many years. We do business weekly. The staff has always been friendly, but the quality is hit or miss. If you are getting BW printing, watch the quality. Unless they use their better printer, streaking is common. We are likely switching companies since our weekly print jobs just increased in price by 50% for the same work. read more

Went in to have some resumes printed. The woman literally could not have looked like she hated her job more. She kept messing up the printing, never showed us a proof, and the color ended up coming out so wrong. In the end, we had waited so long it wasn't worth saying anything, especially since she walked away the second she handed us the resumes. I was so disappointed that we spent $14 on 10 resumes that didn't look like the PDF, and a terrible printing experience. Never going back, and really hoping that women finds a job she can deal with enough to give the smallest amount of customer service. read more

You might want to check other copy centers before having a large (2 foot by 3 foot) architectural drawing printed from a pdf file. I asked three employees and was quoted: $89.99 per page, $49.95 per page, and $4.85 per page. Staples will print for 50 cents per square foot ($3 per page). read more

Used this store to print fliers for an event. Manager helped me with placing the order and she was very helpful. When I picked up the order, I found they had charged me a "digital enhancement fee" for printing 2 fliers per page instead of 1 (this just takes a few clicks of a button I could have done myself). When I asked about this charge and told the Asst Manager Grant that I hadn't been told there would be a fee for this when I placed the order (manager indicated it was no problem and could be done easily), he very rudely said "what do you want me to do about it" and "well i guess we should just cancel the whole order". In discussing my point of view, he continued to be rude and rather abrasive, acting like it was my fault that I didn't know. Instead of continuing to argue with him, I just paid the fee and won't go there again! My recommendation - use STAPLES every time. They are courteous and have cheaper prices!!! read more
