When I found out how much cheaper FedEx ground was than UPS, I became a regular customer of this location. I have always received friendly and professional service, and the appearance of the center itself is much nicer than their dingy old location on Compass Drive. That said, I was shocked to read Connie T's review. I had a package to drop off yesterday afternoon, so I was more than a little anxious when I entered the store. I'm happy to report the air smelled as sweet inside as out, and no foul language was overheard during my visit. Obscene language in front of customers in this professional setting is simply inexcusable. The other indiscretion Connie mentioned begs three questions: 3. Why didn't he simply slip into the back room? 2. If he just couldn't make it to the back, why on earth wouldn't he shift into silent mode? These folks have always been super nice to me whenever I frequent the use of their printer, and sometimes, their fax machine. The paper that they use for their printer is pretty great, nice and substantial. I feel much better using that paper for a resume, then buying a whole pack of 'fancy shmancy, ooh-la-la' paper and having it get crumbled, rippled, or chewed on by my Golden Retriever (AKA paper seeking missile). I move around a lot, and I always know what to expect from their equipment. Even when their are people at the work stations, they have been nice enough to let me run my two pages and get the heck out of dodge. They don't have a huge area for that kind of business at this location, but seeing as it's right next to the college, and of course every attendee is frequently frequenting the library, it's not much of an issue. I still think it's a tad bit old fashioned to charge for Wi Fi now a days... but I guess I can't really complain. If your lazy enough to not find a free hotspot, then shame on you! read more

So, they do give good service. However, HUGE complaint. Last night I was at the back counter filling out the shipping label and was overhearing conversation. Not eavesdropping, mind you, it was very loud. Language people! How many words are in the English language? Can you not find something other than an offensive curse word to express yourself?? After a few minutes of this, one of the workers walked over to the back of the store right across from where I was and let one rip. Really?!?! Wow. Guess it has to come out of both ends. Poor packaging. Poor customer service after my surround sound receiver was damaged. Poor excuse for a business. They threw the damage issue to corporate. Nice of them to make the sale, take my money but not the responsibility. read more

Casey is great! He carefully boxed up two different deliveries. They both arrived on the date specified, in perfect condition. No smashed tops or torn and dented corners. He is professional, friendly and knows his stuff. Explained the different rates and delivery options and differences in pricing. I will certainly use this Fed Ex office for any future shipping needs. Unlike two other shippers, who shall remain nameless, Fed Ex always does a professional caring job. This is anywhere I've lived. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Doesn't even deserve one star. The manager was surly and snooty, acting as if he was doing me a favor by letting me spend money there. Never again. FedEx needs to fire this man (he has done this to me EVERY time I have gone into the branch--4 or 5 times). I will NEVER set foot in FedEx Office's North Avenue branch again! read more

Zero responsibility taken for mistake. My 80 year old mother takes the quilts she made for her twin grandsons who are joining the Army to FedEx to pack and ship. THEY transferred the wrong address to the printed shipping label (Cir instead of Ct.) and it went to wrong house in my neighborhood. When we looked for missing package they did not tell us they put the wrong address on the ship label and said it must have been driver. Not the drivers fault this time but it was a way they could divert responsibility. So after a nasty exchange with my neighbor who sat on this package for 5 days with no intention to take it the two blocks to my house, I got it back with ZERO assistance from FedEx. I have both labels clearly showing the mistake on the package and they still claim no record of the wrong label. Impossible to believe. I have had this happen with Amazon packages in the past and their amazing service just replaces my items. My neighbor gets extra stuff, Amazon gets screwed by FedEx and then FedEx gets another shipment paid. This was a one-of-a-kind item with so much meaning and there was zero accountability at every level of service at the store in Grand Junction, the scripted customer service number or the ground division that called and left me a message that the "jobber" said it was delivered and ticket is closed. Hope they thank my sons for defending this right to be indifferent. read more

Very rude manager! I have only once been to this location. I dropped off a package with a pre-printed label for Dish Network that had a reciever inside. Dish Network sends their packages Fed Ex and has the consumer send it back USPS, the label had a Fed Ex label and I accidently dropped it off at this location. As it had the pre-printed label, the guy just grabbed it and asked if it was ready to go. I unfortunately said yes and left without getting a receipt. My bad, as had I gotten a receipt, he would have scanned it and found it was being dropped off in the wrong place. Anyhow, did not realize it until 3 weeks later when they still had not received it. I called this location to see what their procedure would be if they received a non Fed Ex package. After caling 3 times, I talked with the manager who was very short,rude and did not even try to be helpful. The other employees previously tried to be helpful and were friendly but I cannot say the same for the manager. I will never use this location again and will pass on my experience to others. It was my mistake in leaving it there but am no closer to finding out what they may have done with it. Upsetting as I now have to pay the $300 charge from Dish. read more
