Office Depot is a little like a museum with cash registers. You can buy yesterday's technology, today. I suppose there is a business case to be made for catering to those who have need to continue to use yesterday's business tools today. At least there is plenty of parking. read more

I come here often to pick up supplies for my home business and not one visit has anyone stepped up and asked if I needed help. They barely even acknowledge me as I walk by. The one time that I asked for help with printer ink, I was told that my printer didn't exist so they couldn't find the ink. I went in today to make some copies , even signed up for there rewards. This was my first time using them. One of the staff completed the process for me , my total was $2.55. I then checked my bank account about an HR later to see that there were two 75.00 charges on my account for a total of $150.00 . Went in the store to speak to the store manager. Corey the store manager told me with a smart ass attitude that there was nothing he could do about it. Instead he stated that it would go back to my account, but not giving me any time frame. I will never walk into that store again and I do not recommend any one to give them business. read more

These guys get a lot of negative reviews and I really don't understand why. Steve is an amazing, kind manager who treats all employees and customers with respect. I don't know how this company managed to drive out competition, but it wasn't for their customer service. Pickin's were spartan in the GJ store, and I had to seek out an employee to help me. Of course, they didn't stock the item I needed and suggested that I "try one of the other computer stores in town." Really?!? read more

What I thought to be an easy job to be printed----2 banners, turned into a nightmare. I can in yo pick them up, and they could not be found. The person that printed the guessed that they were pit in with anirherborder by the person who closed the shop the night before. Of course I couldn't care less about that. I just wanted my banners! I had to sit and wait for the banners to be printed out again. What a waste of time, and money for Office Depot! Unfortunately, they appear to be the only game in town, so you're stuck with lackluster service. read more

I am so done with this place. After reading the other reviews, I have to concur. You would think that a business in competition with other places like Walmart and Best Buy would understand that their primary strength should be in printing and graphics. This place, however, seems to put no effort into improving customer service in those areas. There is always a line when I go in at the printing desk, but they never have enough people to help you. When they finally do help you, they struggle often. I know enough about computer programs like Adobe, for instance, to know how to do more than most of the people working behind the counter. Nevertheless - I get told "oh we can't do that here," or "that can't be done." But then I will go off and do it and then bring them back the file that I want printed. The last straw was recently when I went in with a simple poster for them to plot, but then I was told that even after scanning it, they would be unable to print it, because I did not have a "copyright release." Almost made me laugh was that the guy told me "you have to contact [Name of movie] in order to plot this." And, this of course makes no sense, since people go in there all the time and obviously use downloaded images or copied pages from books, etc. It just felt like an insult to my intelligence to be told that something could not be done, which clearly gets done all the time. In all my years using vendors like this, I have never been told that I can't make a copy of something that I already own. Confirming my assumption, I simply went over to Copy Copy on North Avenue, and they had no problem at all. My suggestion to anyone who values their time is to go somewhere else. I'm sorry to say this, because the people there have generally been nice to me, but they have a few staff who could definitely try a little bit harder to help their customers, improve their skills, or simply find other jobs. read more

Today I was helped with my printing and laminating by Sheyenne at the print services desk. Her suggestions and product were spot on. Efficient, pleasant and great service. As I looked for other products there were a couple of other employees that quickly asked if they could be of service. Well staffed, nicely stocked, reasonable prices. read more

Horrible time trying to get thru their BAD menu system. Finally gave up after calling 3 times and went online to Amazon and purchased what I needed. Hate to wait 5 days to get my products but Office Depot sucks big time. read more

Decent selection of office supplies. Variety is good and prices comparable to every where. However, everytime I visit I always have to go find someone to help if I have trouble finding something. That is frustrating. During my last visit, I had to go back to double check a sale price myself as I was checking out. Even then, the cashier and the manager doubted me then said we'll go ahead and give you the price this time. Why couldn't the manager just go check himself? I was being accused of lying to get a lower price! Not sure I will go back after being treated so badly. read more

I want to modify my previous review. I think the upper level management has made a VERY good attempt at making me whole. I believe Toshiba had a POOR customer service response to the problem. They didn't backup their product! I would also thank most of the OffficeDepot technical support system for thorough assistance!( That's you Michael! ) This was worth the $ money!
