This review is for the 82nd Street location in Jackson Heights, NY. This is a very densely populated neighborhood, so long lines and crowded stores are the norm. Shipping at most places here is frustrating and time consuming. But this FedEx center has been like a breath of fresh air. I actually am relieved when I need to ship via FedEx, because my experiences here have consistently been positive in every aspect. This space is large, aesthetically pleasant and spotlessly clean, with ample room for waiting lines, although the staff are all so quick and efficient, I have never had a long wait (other carriers' locations in the area resemble an unkempt storage closet and customers endure long wait times on the sidewalk outside, exposed to the elements). On top of that, the staff here have always been 100% professional, knowledgeable and super pleasant to engage with, whether in person, or if I call with a question. These employees deserve a major commendation for excellence. I have relied on this business for many important, time sensitive shipments and they have always provided impeccable service. I am so happy we have this FedEx store a short walk from home. read more

This is a new FedEx Office Print & Ship Center. Shop just opened two months ago. Had to return some items purchased from Walmart. Walmart returns uses FedEx whereas with Amazon returns you go though UPS. Interacted with the two staff members in the counter. Luz and Evan greeted every customer that walked in the door as they approach the counter. Friendly staff here and was impressed with their knowledge with printing and shipping material via FedEx. There were computers and variety of printing machines. FedEx Office Print & Ship Center is like a one stop shop for all your printing, packing and shipping needs. You can use and recycle your boxes just take off original label and bring it to a FedEx. Staff prefers QR code so they can scan and print return label for you. This is when you return online. I spoke to Walmart customer service with one of the items, who email a label and I had issues printing the label-too big. Will definitely be back again. read more

Rude Fedex agent, Bryan. You got the address wrong so change it, why make a fuzz and make it a mortal sin. Thats $131 shipping fee and I want to make sure this document does not get lost coz you missed part of the address after the fact you had my phone and reading that address. I needed to return a package and was given instructions from the company to use FEDex shipping. I went to this location and had the quickest and pleasant transaction. I already had my printed return label and just needed to purchase a bag $3.80 size to fit a shoebox- the original bag was destroyed. Took me all of 2 minutes if that much. Upon entering the sales person said " Hello, how may I help" no attitude. Carol help me with the correct bag to buy ( no upsale) and sealed it for me. I gave her my return receipt and she scanned the bag and gave me a receipt. Carol was absolutely professional and courteous. The establishment is very clean, everything is in order and they have enough large tables to wrap your items. They offer several printers, copiers , computers, tape, bubble wrap etc. You'll get things done fast here, there was enough staff (3) at the time. I was informed politely by one of the staff members CORPORATE DO NOT ALLOW FOR PHOTOS TO BE TAKEN INSIDE. I have respect and deleted the photos I had taken to show the establishment . There is meter street parking and the block is very busy and hectic, beware Traffic Enforcement is out and will write parking tickets. The business is wheelchair accessible. read more

I had to send some important documents to Maryland and it had to be via FedEx as the office building only allows the Fed ex man or woman to deliver on each floor compared to USPS and UPS who are only allowed lobby drop offs (very stupid rule) Ok cool so I go to the FedEx store in Queens and they did it basically all for me , the copies , sealing the envelope and printing the shipping label with all the required info . The lady FedEx worker was very nice doing the service but 36 bucks to ship an express envelope that weights zero pounds is steep and to be fair it got there the next day before 12pm and I got a email confirmation which was a relief. Glad I don't have to send anything else to that located but I am glad FedEx delivered it without any hiccups. 4 stars on my meter. read more

Linda ,or Karen of FedEx, is so freaking rude. She asked for my ID, Tracking number but not enough, yeah because these identification aint not quite good. She needs a online receipt from the company that send the package to me. She made me feel embarrassed and she thinks she can do anything because she has her coworkers backing her. Im by myself. Her Attitude, energy and how many times she has to roll your eyes on me. Disgusting employee in Fexex company. If you dont wanna work then stay home!!! FedEx store on 82nd street is great .. also happy that they have one right there ..the guys and the women working there are very helpful and especially when using the printer.. the nice gentleman help me several times very patient with me and they've all been wonderful highly recommend read more

I can't find a place to rate FedEx delivery service so I post it here. FedEx delivery is the worst. The delivery guy NEVER ring the bell! We have been stolen twice and lost over $800 packages. I called customer service to ask drivers ring the bell but they NEVER did. I added a note of must ring the bell to the delivery instruction but they never followed. I will not order anything online if they use FedEx as the carrier since now. FEDEX SUCKS!!!!!!!! The customer series also are very irresponsible. After the package was stolen because the driver didn't ring the bell. They're not willing even to open a case! The are the world's worst!!!!!!!! read more

Visited this store today around 3:15pm. As soon as I entered I heard two employees discussing Mardi Gras and what a great holiday it is. I wandered for a bit in front of the huge table near the entrance with the packing supplies, unsure of how to proceed. The employees did not offer assistance or acknowledgement I was there; I eventually found the packing envelope for my package and approached the counter. The demeanor of the employees changed instantaneously; their friendly smiles disappeared and were replaced by unhappy glares. I gently informed them that I would like to make a shipment for my package. Every verbal exchange that followed consisted of short, clipped statements by one of the employees in a manner that was unpleasant and devoid of any willingness to provide any meaningful assistance. The 2nd employee chimed in from time-to-time with more unhelpful commentary. Needless to say I exited the store as quickly as possible. I need to clarify that my own demeanor was compliant and courteous, and calm. The employees seemed annoyed that they had to halt their conversation and deal "with this guy". At my age - I'm 54 and have dealt with retail situations for many years - I know very well that it is possible to be rude without necessarily resorting to yelling, cursing or otherwise over-the-top behavior. A clerk can simply be unpleasant, look angry and sound angry. It isn't what they're saying as much as the way they are saying it. The nasty looks don't help either. Honestly, if these two guys hate dealing with customers so much - then why did they decide to work in retail? It's mindboggling and incredibly frustrating. I hope this store gets its act together. They seem to have hired and trained people with truly ghastly attitudes and no discernible concept of even the most basic concepts of customer service. read more
