This was my first time returning an item to Amazon. Following the return instructions, it says that…read morerepackaging or labeling is not required. The only thing that Amazon asks you to do is show UPS the return QR code. It may have been a full moon the other day but the stars sure were in alignment today! Found convenient parking, walked in with no line, AND the customer service was really nice. Best of all, returning the item to Amazon was free and I didn't have to repackage it or label it. Without any hassle or explanations, the employee scanned the QR code and printed a return postage receipt. I didn't even stay longer than one full minute in the UPS store LOL This is too easy. Now I understand why folks shop on Amazon. Thank you UPS for accepting my return item, repackaging it, labeling it, and shipping it back to Amazon. I already got my refund from them!

Then, come to find out that most photo machines like the ones at CVS don't recognize PDF. Just so you know what you're getting into when you go there. I gave them the benefit of the doubt time and time again and it continued to be a calamity with either ignorance or incompetence.

I popped it in a box with lots of packing, taped it up and slapped the label on. Off to FedEx I went, not anticipating a pleasant experience from some of the other shipping places I've visited. What a fine surprise! No lines, pleasantly greeted, extra tape was added without being asked, and the receipt was promptly tendered. Shipping supplies were reasonably priced, a great value and fine customer service too. The young man, who took care of me, worked proficiently, and actually seemed to care about the package. I was shipping. Way to go FedEx! Keep up the good work. They have my highest score.

In today's day and age of ordering online and having a package delivered to your doorstep in a day…read moreor two, it's pretty rare that I need to visit the UPS store. But recently, one of those online orders didn't turn out so great and I needed to send it back. I took it in to the store, showed the clerk a QR code and she printed a shipping label, took my package and sent me on my way. It was painless. The only reason I deducted a star was because I did have to wait in line for several minutes (longer than my actual transaction took). It would be nice if there was a self-service kiosk where I could scan the code, print the label myself and drop the package off rather than having to wait in a line. That just shows how accustomed to instant gratification I've become. I'll say it for you.

There are times when there is only one worker and the line is out the door. The parcel bin at the self service is always locked. Now, I realize there are bins at the front where you can drop off your parcels, but that is beside the point. It would take five seconds to unlock the damn parcel bin. I see employees eating in the break room, stuffing their faces with junk food, while one worker is handling the line out the door.
