Excellent customer service here by Chris at this location! I needed to scan some old-school photographs and have them sent to my email as well as print some digital photos into actual "photographs" for my shrine dedicated to deceased family/friends/pets. My close friend was recently killed by a drunk driver, so it was very important to me to honor his memory with the quality of these photos for my shrine. I had also just moved back here from LA, so my mind was kind of scattered & I really didn't want to navigate this all on my own. Chris went above and beyond to handle all of my requests and then some! He was polite, professional, tech-savvy and quick! After sizing them based on my specific requests, cropping, and printing on the glossy paper, he cut them perfectly for me, and placed them in a nice flat envelope to protect them, all while attending to other customers simultaneously. Hands down the worst customer service at this location. It is the most convenient location in terms of distance but the short haired lady who is allegedly the manager is a pain to be around. This location has always been busy. Folks would line up and the short haired lady, who they call the manager, would come out and break up the line with folks who needed to print and those who had drop offs. She would take drop off packages and provide you with a receipt if needed. Easy, right? However, I had a scenario twice now where my package needed to be taped. The first time, the manager told me she would handle it, she took the package and left it on a table. Luckily, I stayed around to watch her tape it. She didn't. She walked out to grab more packages. She kept piling boxes on top of my untaped/unsecured package and finally noticed me after 5 minutes. She replied with a, "what do you need?" And I told her that I just wanted to make sure she did not forget to tape my package. She looked back and said, "OH!" And that's when I realized she forgot. Fastforward to the next scenario, I needed my package taped down again. (FedEx offers the service for free. That's why I take my packages there!) She dismissed me when I told her I needed it taped. I told her I'd wait in line until the package gets taped as she nearly forgot the last time. She rolled her eyes and took on customers behind me. I have since gone to other locations to avoid her sass and have not received this service from any other FedEx location. Customer service is not in this woman's vocabulary and I am in awe about how she even became a manager. read more

There was only one competent person there. She was good, but not good enough. Here's why: 1) it took me 25 minutes to get 40 copies from a single black-and-white master that I brought 2). I had to wait 15 minutes before someone talked to me. 3) when I told the first girl what I needed she said she couldn't copy them because she needed it in digital form. No. All you have to do is put the paper on the glass plate and copy. She did not know how to do that. 4) when I finally got the help I needed, after many new people who came up to the counter or helped before me, and I had to assert myself to get service, the competent person or semi-competent person hadn't heard me correctly. I said I needed 40 copies. She thought I only needed four. So she had to take extra time to go back and get more. If you are his organization, teach your trainees this : 1) always acknowledge someone coming in and standing there in wait for service. 2) Tell them you'll be with them in a moment. 3) Help people in order, not the new person who decides they're more important than anyone else. 5) if you can't have someone competent at the desk, get somebody else there who can be. Fedex is a very good company and usually is all right. But it looks like they have a large turnover in this store. These are not the same people at all that I saw a month ago. They have a card with nobody's name on it probably because they don't stay long enough to put a name on it. Fedex should pay properly. And train them so they know what they're doing and so enough people will come back and use their services. It may be an entirely different story with entirely new people there. I don't know. This is my favorite FedEx print and shipping carrier and location in the bay area! Their printer always works when you need it to and the staff is always quick and responsive, even with long lines. Friendly might I add. Today I was assisted by Zach and he deserves 5 gold stars for his superb customer service and cheerful personality that anyone could use after a long day. Pre-pandemic, this place was always packed and everyone occupied the printers and computer area. Kept my receipt from July 2023 wanting to follow up and leave a review for Zach who is an awesome employee! I see he has several other positive reviews, and I wonder if he still works here ..... at the very least he should've had a few promotions! So professional, always helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable, but this last visit, he really went above and beyond. There was a section of the store, where the carpet was lifting and clearly a safety hazard. He was truly concerned about it, and immediately was able to repair it with some sturdy duct tape! This type of job usually has employees that are young, inexperienced, or just don't really seem to care. Any company would be lucky to have him so hopefully either some company has swooped him up or he's been promoted within FedEx to receive a much larger paycheck that he deserves! read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The 1st day I came in I was standing behind another customer and the young girl tells me can u go stand in line. My husband I looked around there is not one sign that says line starts here. When my husband asked how are we supposed to know she just shrugged her shoulders. So going through the process and dealing with her attitude and her examining my items. Finally paid and lefts a few hours later I get a call that me they couldn't ship my item because it had weed residue In it. How would u know that unless you opened it? I came in the next day The girl at the front desk was rude and just a straight up a-hole. ( same girl btw) I came back to get my item and I showed them I had been charged for something else as well on my bank statement. Instead of trying help me they wanted a receipt. ( meanwhile the girl that helped me less than 24 hours ago knew dam well I was just there the day before. ) she goes and gets another lady who has the same stank attitude and told me there's nothing they can do without a receipt. I took my item and left. As I'm walking out the girl decided to yell have a great day . I told her to FU*k OFF. You are disrespectful, rude and snarky. When u have an upset customer try LISTENING. Your 1st response should not be to treat them like a criminals or lier. You have a smart mouth and you don't speak to people like that. So now I have to dispute the charges with my bank because you couldn't just ask for my card that I used and returned the fees. I will be writing to corporate too about the way I was treated. But the photographer is very unprofessional and there is actual shadow on the photo. It's obviously overpriced. And you'll have to buy their U disk to get the digital copy of the photo. Customer service is trash, I'm never coming here.. I never have this problem with UPS, the US Postal service or Amazon. Walked in with my return instructions ready to print but for some reason, I had problems with the retrieval code. I asked for help and this person was so rude to me, she told me, "I haven't had any problems with anyone else, you're the only one" she made me so mad, my blood was boiling. So I asked someone else for help and they were a little nicer and more willing to help but more customers walked into the door and completely ignored me and didn't help me at all.. It's my Go-To Print Shop! I love going there to print a few pages of coupons or documents from time to time. Very cheap. I just bring my own flash drive and print it from the machines. I am an owner of a small business who makes frequent shipments for online customers. We offer FedEx's overnight delivery services for our customers who are in need of items urgently and have always strived to be timely with packing and sending out our parcels. I would give this company ZERO stars if I could for its egregious practices and treatment of its customers. Time and again, I have brought my own shipping boxes (the same kinds used for other shipping methods) in order to save on costs, only to be habitually told they were insufficient and was coerced into paying exorbitant amounts for the company's own shipping boxes. The cost of the next day services alone are already expensive, and we do our best to keep our own customers' shipping costs as fair as we can, and I am now forced to absorb the extra cost of packaging. This practice feels utterly unnecessary and even dishonest, since I can't fathom why standard boxes used through other shipping means will not work with FedEx. I was also blatantly upcharged for the package I needed to send, which was a single pair of dance shoes--far lighter in weight than street shoes. Since we constantly weigh and ship our own parcels through the postal service all the time, I KNOW for a fact that this package should NOT have weighed beyond even 2 POUNDS. This is utter theft. Since I assumed the clerk would not blatantly lie about this, it was unfathomable to even think to need to confirm at the time of payment. I didn't realize the upcharge until I had already left and saw on my receipt that what should have been perhaps 1.5 pounds came out to 3, DOUBLE THE WEIGHT. For reference, there is not a single product we sell and ship that has ever weighed anywhere close to 3 pounds. This doesn't even end here. The least that could have been expected from this company after all of this was for them to simply make their own delivery deadline for the service I apparently paid EXTRA for. At $118.07, I paid specifically for FEDEX STANDARD OVERNIGHT DELIVERY. I asked to confirm with the clerk when it would be expected to arrive, and was told clearly--by 3pm the next day. As a courtesy for my own customer, who had requested this service, I relayed this exact information to her and provided the tracking number. Of course, the package didn't make it the next day at the time expected. Instead, it was still sitting on a truck en route. I took this up with the company, spending hours on the phone getting batted around between departments that seemed to know absolutely nothing about what to do or where to direct me. The level of incompetence was simply astounding. After being transferred for possibly the 10th time and two hours of my day wasted later, I was finally directed to a rep who simply told me that because the company had revoked its own delivery guarantees, they were not going to offer any form of reimbursement for the exorbitant amount of money completely WASTED to NOT receive the service I needed. This has been an appalling experience, and I cannot understand how a company like this can even offer this kind of service, knowingly being unable to make their own commitments. I was never warned or informed of this revoked guarantee, nor is it reasonable for any occasional customer to even know to ask. Frankly, it should NOT even be advertised if it's something they can't deliver on. For a $118.07 service, it seems reasonable that at the very least, we be made aware. I was not told. And to add insult to already having been overcharged, I can't even get a penny back for a service I did not receive. The package ultimately arrived a day and a half later than expected. I don't know what else to say here. This awful company and its horrific customer service will likely proceed to do nothing and shamelessly continue to cheat more people out of their money. I hope this at least serves as a cautionary tale for anyone else who uses them--double check what you're being charged all the time. Assume you're being misled in every transaction, and that you might not get what you're already paying too much for. read more

This is a full shop FedEx store. It has all services from printing to packaging. They also have a small workstation area where you can print stuff off the internet. Besides that there is regular packaging etc. The service isn't great, some workers are very rude and I have seen them shout rudely to customers. They are also very particular about closing time and mostly don't allow folks 10 mins before the store closing. It's close to home and late hours are convenient, but it is always understaffed, staff doesn't have a sense of hustle, and the operations slow things down as a multiplier if the staffing issues. Plan on waiting an average of 20 minutes when there is one other customer in the store if you are looking to make a basic copy or parcel shipping order Couple simple tips for the staff: Have the copy requesters fill out a form so the repetitive questions take from 2-3 mins to 30 seconds for you to process. For shipping, have the forms out on your packing station. Especially for express mail, have that ready to go. Also have a self help station where they can drop it in a box themselves. read more

Filled with skepticism, I decided to call another fedex location down the road on Homestead to ask about packaging guidelines. The fellow from Homestead kindly replied saying that my package "should be good for delivery". Minutes later, I found myself at the Homestead location, they evaluated my box, and they took it in without any complaints. I probably should've bought a scanner when I had the chance. So lacking a scanner and needing a document scanned one day, I found myself at FedEx/Kinkos. There are a few rental workstations here, two of which are equipped with scanners. For 45 cents/minute you'll have access to Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro, the latter which can be used to scan paper documents into digital form. Scanner quaility is acceptable, not great. Copy your files to a flash drive and you're good to go. The computer is hooked up to a card reader that takes either a credit card or a Kinko's card. The Kinko's card can be loaded with money at a kiosk using either a credit card or cash (bills only). Yeah, 45 cents/minute isn't cheap. That amounts to $27/hour. For $27, I could buy my own scanner! For 30 cents/minute, you can use the same computers to surf the web and use Microsoft Office. But if that's all you want to do, you can do it at the Sunnyvale library for free! Given FedEx's exorbitant computer rental rates, I'm surprised that they don't charge for using their WiFi! read more

As I was preparing my box, Javier stopped me and told me I could save a lot by having him pack my box rather then buy a roll of bubble wrap. Okay, I went for it and the charge for his packing was $8.95 with tax, plus the shipping fee of $19.00.For a few inches of bubble wrap?? How??? Why?? I could have had the huge roll of bubble wrap for $12.00. Of course, by the time I saw this, my box was packed and ready to go. Javier and staff were so busy talking to each other, I just stood there like a chump. When I left, he actually gave me his name and request for recommendation. Just a thought here...If you want a recommendation, pay attention to your customer while you are taking care of the package. Also, why not just let me seal my box and pay for the wrap and shipping? As I left, I felt like he was showing his staff how to up sell a customer. This has really been bothering me and I understand why this particular Fedex has such terrible reviews. I visited here a dozen times - they always thrilled me. Today I went here for finding my Driving License that I lost on two days back. I took photocopies of several documents on Saturday the last one was DL and I did not pickup afterwards. Today I went there, the bearded experienced guy "Forest" went out of the way to find my DL and gave back to me. Thank you Forest and others. In my previous visits too the workers are informative, short & sweet and clearly helpful. I visited this FedEx office center to return my laptop twice to my company google during pandemic and another time to copy , print & fax and all the times service were top notch. Those people who are giving -ve reviews are real nuts. Today I was cut in front by a running Indian guy while I was limping towards door. What can door keeper do if people behave bad? I had the worst experience in Fedex shipments. I shipped Fedex ground package from this location to another city. Next day I find the package sitting on my doorstop. No notice or exception . The package was sent back to shipper with a note 'bar code quality' I go to the location and they refuse to talk to me and said call Fedex it's not their responsibility. The staff was rude and un cooperative . After long calls with they advised to go back to the location and see the manager. Same thing , very rude and un cooperative.
