I don't usually visit this UPS Store, but I was in the area today and needed to drop off an Amazon return, so I decided to stop in. Kate was the associate who helped me. She opened the store right on time and immediately greeted me with a warm, friendly attitude. When I realized I also needed to buy an envelope, Kate took the time to help me find the perfect size envelope for my package. This is the best ups store of all time in my opinion. Hands down this place has friendliest employees i know who will go out in limbs to accommodate your shipping needs, especially return items. Now they don't ship out large ebikes, and etc but what they do ship, they got you covered. read more

Terrible 15 min interaction with the short girl with yellow highlights... I didn't even bother getting her name because I'd hate to meet someone in the future and be reminded of her. I came into UPS for the first time ever--I've never returned a package before--so I wasn't sure what she needed from me. I showed her what was on my phone and she instantly snapped at me. The second time I asked what the purpose of the thing on my phone was, her attitude was already loud enough. I had to tell her to calm down because they were simple questions. She snapped back saying I needed to calm down and that I was being rude and that I "wasn't listening to her," even though I was literally showing her what might be the thing she was asking for. I wasn't rude, didn't raise my voice, nothing--but she came off so aggressive for absolutely no reason. When all I did was ask a few questions to understand what she wanted. Her position requires basic customer service, and based on those 15 minutes, she doesn't have the ability to handle even the slightest inconvenience. Must be a tough job scanning packages. Do not go here!! This store is a complete fraud and charges higher prices then comparable UPS stores. I went into this store Saturday 9/9 (morning) and inquired about their live scan service. The cashier Rona advised that all UPS charge the same amount $45 live scan fee plus $32 public service fee. The UPS down the street charged my husband $35 live scan fee plus $32 public service fee ($10 less) on Monday 9/11. I called the manager and they said their store can charge whatever they want and don't need to charge consistent fees. read more

Terrible.. worst UPS I've ever been to. If you're a small business, I do not recommend using this store to ship anything. The lady at the front desk is incredibly rude and not helpful. Their computer to print isn't easy to use and she got annoyed I was asking if I needed a USB. Well the sign says unplug so I'm assuming it wants me to plug something in? To print yourself is $2 but they want $5 to print one paper! Every other UPS I've ever been to charges $2 regardless of who prints. Get this, they want $5 to add one piece of tape to a box! $5? That's so insane.... I'd avoid at all costs! Save your money and your self respect, go elsewhere. read more

This review is only related to my experience with taking US passport photos. One of the employees who was working the front desk was very prompt and professional when taking my US passport renewal photos. In and out in less than ten minutes once I was helped. The employee also showed me the photo on the camera and asked if I liked it or wanted to retake. A printed set of two photos that meet the US passport requirements is ~$15. They do not give you the digital copy of the photo to keep. Overall a very easy experience since I initially struggled to take and print my own at home copies of passport photos. read more

Super friendly excellent service even when overwhelmed with Amazon returns... highly recommended. As a side note, I can't even fathom that people would expect the staff here to tape their items for free. Ignore the one star reviews where they didn't tape their stuff. It's basic human polite consideration to look at things from the other person's perspective. It's not just about tape. It's time and "what if everyone did that" morality. Respect others and work together. Tape your stuff. It's not rocket science. I felt compelled to write that because the negative "lashing out" reviews of consumer self-entitlement tantamount to taking advantage of a waitress or treating her bad because of the power relationship says much more about the person writing the review than the business. Went there for a amazon package return drop-off on 3/3/2021 around noon time. I had the item in the Box. I had the Amazon return QR code(no box needed no label needed). They only had to tape it and give me the return label. The lady behind the counter tells me next time I go there I need to tape it and she gave me nasty looks. Are they trying to save the cost of 6 inches of a tape? Or they are just being lazy? I have never been told to pack it or tape it when I go to UPS homestead location. Those guys are so nice. Tried to rip me off. Was quoted $21 online and by aa ups down the street. Only reason I didn't ship, initially was because I packaged in a USPS box which they wouldn't take so I re packaged in a plain box. I go to this location because it's along the way to another destination, but they wanted to charge $39 for same shipping options. They said in store prices are different from online. What a bunch of baloney. I told them the ups down the street quoted $21... So I grabbed my package and left. Never COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN! the other ups just west of this had no problem charging me $23 which is after taxes! read more

I try to very rarely give out one star reviews, but this store was extremely disappointing. I've never had this problem with any other UPS Store. I came here on April 26th to do an Amazon return via QR code for a rather expensive item I had purchased from Amazon. The store attendant scanned my code and produced a return item receipt (which I always ask for, and I am glad in this situation I did). The tracking number associated with this item is 1Z909R689009970066 which I'm fine with publicly showing if people want to verify. It initiated the return on Amazon on 4/25 and dropped off the item on 4/26 in the afternoon. Very oddly, the tracking number shows that the tracking number was not generated until 4/26 at 12:06AM? This item was not "shipped" until 5/1 at 6:01pm from that Sunnyvale UPS Store. Why did the item sit in the store for 5 days? It is beyond explanation. Amazon says they can't intervene until 5/22 which is 3 weeks from the date of shipping. They refuse to utilize the 4/26 date. There is obviously only one party I can blame. I can't blame Amazon. I can't blame UPS themselves. It is solely a failure of the UPS Store to properly handle the item. Would never come here again for any reason. I usually only go to the UPS Mountain View Store closer to my home. The lack of professionalism here is apparent. read more

The people here, especially the young Asian woman who barely speaks English, are so incredibly rude and disrespectful. They will straight up yell at you when you're holding your 2 year old. Bunch of ill mannered lazy workers who are so clearly unhappy with their lives that they need to be mean to customers to be happy. Suggest going to a different center. This one should shut down. They're incapable of handling basic things like Amazon returns and will promptly tell you to bring your own tape (even though they're supposed to pack it). Came here to return a package and just needed them to add one strip of tape. They wanted me to buy an entire role of tape for 5 bucks. I am paying for the shipping and everything, they can't re tape their own package?? That too one single strip of tape?? If there ever was a definition of daily light robbery, this would be it!! Needed to ship some car seats, which is sort of a huge / heavy item. Called the UPS store on the phone and they explained that I can just drop off my items and they will take care of the rest. I had some anxiety, thinking they will back out of the deal because of weight or similar. Little did I know ... the UPS team is skilled, they weighed the seats, proposed a solution and that's that. Worst customer service ever. Lost my passport, never informed me what happened, never answered my calls, always need to go to store to ask what happened. Finally they did not submit my loss/damage form for the package. It is so bad that filed an official complaint with ups network to remove the license as I guess they might have hided my passport for few days illegally. read more

I had a super pleasant trip here, it was quick and the gals were on-point. The location was difficult for me to find ONLY because it's drowning in-between multiple food markets/eateries. (I was disgusted by children coughing and screaming all over the place while their parents are SCREAMING their name in my left ear...'twas a zoo!) But once you find it you can breathe again. The store is tip-top shape including cleanliness and supplies. Small, but extremely efficient and NOT bad in prices like other locations. [Speaking of, keep in mind this place is independently owned/operated, so if they want to charge more...they will.] The gals working were excellent. In specific, the lead on duty Mel, is absolutely incredible (and she's a notary)! The other gal was awesome too. They make a dynamic-duo with their service and attention to detail. I got a bracelet shipped for less than what USPS quoted me, so that was awesome. I was over-all pleasantly surprised with my visit. It was fun and I would return no doubt! read more

Have you ever been to a nice restaurant that charged to use the utensils? This place is like that. It's a "UPS Store" that charges you to pick up a paid package! The building I live in has frequent package thefts. I had a shipment come here so that I could ensure that I would received it. $5 to hand me a box?! Really?! Fedex is free, UPS hub is free. I could understand if this was Al's Mailbox Depot but its a UPS brand store! That's absurd! Why not let this be a free service and just MAYBE people would come back and use your others services while they're there. Serve your community and they'll frequent your store out of appreciation and loyalty, don't nickel and dime them for one fee never to see them again. Avoid this store! They charge $2 and $5 for everything. They have limited options and trick you into paying for so many add ons by having old technology and not having everything a regular ups/fedex store should have.
