I came to this location specifically to drop off my Amazon returns. The items were already securely packaged: inside their original box with internal bubble wrap. Despite the package being clearly ready for shipment, the employee insisted I needed to purchase their supplies--a separate box and additional bubble wrap--to place my items inside their packaging. This was completely unnecessary and felt like a blatant attempt to make a sales quota on supplies that were not needed. It seems their priority is pushing product sales over customer convenience and service. I strongly advise using a different drop-off location if possible. read more

I came here a couple of times for printing, notarizing, and shipping. Printing has a $3.00 flat rate and it's $0.20 per side printed. You email them the document and they print it right there. Shipping is pretty standard and quick process. If you've already shipped to the address before, they will have it linked to your account so you don't have to give all the info again. For notarizing, I believe he is there from 10-4pm. I came on a weekend and that was the hours told to me. Make sure to have your id for your documents! read more

I went it to get help locating a phone I shipped with AT&T, I lost the receipt they had given me. I spent a good maybe 30-45 mins there, not once did they say they couldn't help me. If I couldn't get this tracking number I would've been out $500. They helped me look through multiple drop off invoices, from the dates and times I had given them to try and narrow down the status of my phone. They saved me those $500 off that phone so I appreciate them for helping me. I had about 2-3 people helping me with this, they were so kind and understanding of my situation. Thank you guys for really going above and beyond to help me get the date of drop off as well as the tracking for my trade in phone. I cannot thank you enough. I've come to this location for the last 5 years, usually where I drop almost everything off but I've never encountered bad service but I'm usually in and out. This was the first time I was here longer than 5 mins but for obvious reasons it was going to take time to find the info I needed. So this is a typical UPS store. We have on near our home, but this one was conveniently along out errand route so we stopped in. It is decent sized, and well stocked for any packing needs. This one offers P.O. Boxes as well. Despite the long line (it was after Xmas) they were fully staffed and the line moved quickly. The staff despite working hard were friendly and professional. Poor service. Older lady couldn't get her story straight. Literally dropped off an identical item in Colorado (moving and blankets didn't arrive in time) and did not need a box. The UPS in CO literally just taped the labels to the outside of the heavy duty package. In CA I returned the exact same item only to be charged $36 for a box! We arrived at the store around 6:35pm, how are we supposed to know they don't take photos after 6:30pm? They charge you to print a prepaid label, which is completely ridiculous. This is a modern lie designed to rip people off.

This was only my second time using UPS to send a shipment (that was not an Amazon return), so I was a bit hesitant as I was not familiar with any of the UPS stores in the area. I was also leery because of the reviews, but this seems to be the trend for most of the UPS stores in the area. This location was a bit further than another location, but seemed like the lesser of the two evils as I didn't see any overt reviews about missing and undelivered packages. Some reviews mentioned an issue with the cost of labels and poor service, but when I went the service was exceptional. It was very quick, and I wasn't charged crazy amount for a single label as some of the reviews seem to state. The person assisting me actually didn't charge me for my single label. My last UPS package that I shipped from another state had been delivered with ripped and dented packaging (luckily, the contents were not breakable). Thus, this time I asked for some help on identifying weak spots in the box. The person assisting me was very kind and pointed out probable weak areas, such as little tears in the box I had overlooked. I had brought my own tape from home and my box looked like a mummy afterwards LOL. Lo and behold, my package arrived in a timely manner with no major deformities--a total win! No issues with the service, and I will probably come here again if I have to drop off a package in the area. read more

Upward Incline to Downward Decline: the location move really helped this store out tremendously with star rating but the new hires that replaced the older workers have really yanked the score down! I'm a weekly visitor as this is my neighborhood go to for amazon drop-off's and shipping needs. I prefer UPS to FEDEX for sending out my personal packages as well. Location & Connivence: following covid the store front moved from one side of the shopping center to the other which brought great balance to traffic flow; providing stress-free access to the UPS store. Especially if you have a heavy package; curbside entry is really easy by foot. Customer Service: when the store moved they hired three new gentleman who clearly hate their job and dealing with customers as it's expressed in their attitude and the experience you will receive. I was really excited with the new location, as it resolved all the majors issues of space and access the older store lacked. The new location has dedicated lanes for each counter; spacious counter space for dropping off packages, a separate customer area for preparing items as well a merchandise wall. However, with the lack of experience and interest from the current employees, you have a big disorganized mess upon each visit. The lines are super long and that has nothing to do with the amount of customers. There will usually be one worker at the 3 lane counter with one/two other workers ignoring the line or they will emerge from the back once the line as grown out the door. The old location was regularly run by three women that were organized and friendly; even in the tight quarters and busy area - the operation and execution of the package drop-off/amazon return process was flawless; even enjoyable. read more

Terrible service. The man at the counter was very rude. I had four items to return, and he kept yelling loudly to hurry up with my return codes or otherwise he'd have to help others in the queue. I was literally fetching my return codes within a few seconds each and he had no patience if I took 2 seconds longer. I felt so anxious and flustered. I was shipping a package with the product packaging directly. This UPS store refused to take my package. They said that I have to ship with a brown shipping box with the product inside. This store said this is their policy. I contacted UPS customer service. They said they do not have such policy. I also get a lot of UPS shipments from many retailers without shipping box, so there is no way UPS has such policy. I went to the another UPS store to ship my package without any issue. I was turned away at the UPS store on Hollenbeck Ave today because they said it would take too long to ship my packages(I had 2) and they would be closing in 10 minutes. The grumpy guy behind the counter made comments about how I shouldn't wait to the last minute to do things. I found out this ups store was open for another hour longer and came here. The employees were helpful and friendly. Not only did they ship my packages which only took about 5 minutes but another employee helped the guy next to me sort his passport photo out. My first and last time visiting this location. I walked in to where it says shipping. The girl was like other side. Ok cool. Walk to the other side... packages everywhere and no where for me to set anything down. She was quick to scan all my Amazon returns which is great but the two ladies just seem miserable. Can't blame them but why tell me my pots are going to break? Amazon has a "no package needed" for my return. Why don't you package it so it doesn't break? This is my go-to UPS store is it nearest to my place. All the staff members are very helpful. From time-to-time I see new faces so I guess they hire summer intern and extra staff during holidays. People who complain about the slow service /unwanted delay should consider these things too. I always ask for all the available options and confirm if this is the cheapest offered by UPS as sometimes I find online is cheap. ALERT!!! THEY LOSE (OR STEAL) YOUR PACKAGES AT THIS LOCATION Horrible! They lost 2 packages that I dropped off. One with a prepaid label from Amazon and another one for pottery barn. I have their receipt and tracking number. Per the tracking record the packages never left the UPS store.. I went there and the employee tried to come up with the excuse that small items cumulate in a big box before being all shipped together (which is very bad btw). It took me an hour to explain that I can look at the big box myself. I did and of course my package was not there. Then I made the mistake of dropping another package there as this location is close to home. These packages are lost for ever and UPS is not holding itself accountable. Since it never left the shop there are not a lot of possible scenarios of what could have happened: lost by UPS in their store, or stolen by a UPS employee. Have been to this location twice now, so this feedback is based on my more than one visit. First time, I had to fax a document and second time I had to take some printouts. What makes this place excellent is the non fuss, smooth working here. Their computer is excellent. So is their printer. The Asian gentleman on my first visit and the Indian lady on my second visit, both were super nice and extremely helpful. The pricing is very fair and I did not feel they tried to overcharge. The place is spacious. There were 5-6 customers when I visited the second time and everyone was handled with ease. No fuss at all. I am really, really taken with these people. Why didn't I come here sooner (have been getting food from a couple of places in this same complex). I will be going here again and again. Stay this way, friends. You people are fabulous read more

Worst customer service EVER!!!! I'm literally still reeling from my experience here. Like actually dumbfounded by how rude the woman (Purima) was here. Long story short... Was waiting my turn in line. Was told to approach the counter with my box, I did...and right from the get was reprimanded for the label, was told I did the packaging wrong, super negative and rude about everything. Had the most condescending tone, kept telling me everything I did wrong...I couldn't get a word in to even ASK HER, how I could fix the problem and proceed. So then...I ask for her name, her name tag wasn't visible...and that's when a gentleman came from the back and tried to intervene and help me. Mind you...this woman is still telling me and him everything wrong in my transaction I was trying to make. She then tells the man that she was originally helping someone else before me???? Ummmmm...she called me over to the counter??? Anyway...once he was helping me, and I was able to actually ask questions on how to do this properly and get answers, actual solutions, I was able to finish my transaction. Thinking back now...I wish I would've taken my business somewhere else. Reading these reviews...seems to be an ongoing issue. I too work in customer service, it's not easy...but this woman never even gave our interaction a chance. Like I said, so rude. And everything was a problem...and rather than any solution or verbalize how we can correct the problems she just continued with her nasty attitude.
