I recently bought a pair of work boots online, that I had to ship back. The seller had shipped them in a plastic bag, and I didn't have a larger box on hand, so I covered the shoe box with heavy, brown wrapping paper, using clear packing tape on the seams, and to cover the shipping label. This location refused to ship my package, stating that my item had to be in an unwrapped box, because conveyor belts would "tear the paper up" (gee, if the conveyor are that rough, I feel bad for the people who have to work around them). They then offered to sell me a box - for $12! Uh, no way, Jose. I drove to another FedEx location, which was much more helpful (and pleasant!), saying I could just add some strips of clear tape to reinforce the paper, without having to re-box my item. He even offered to let me use their tape. The only reason I am giving the location at 1000 Bald Hill Road two stars, instead of one, is that they are open until 7 p.m. Doesn't matter to me, though, as I won't be going there again. read more

Clean, but need more people to help out when times get busy. The people and service here is very reliable, and I appreciate that they take the time to make sure my packages are safe and sound, as well as well taped up - unlike the care I get from the USPS. read more

What a racket they told me they couldn't take specific packaging because it goes against their shipping policies even though I've used the same packaging for multiple other packages. This was Michelle at their front desk so instead of course they offered to repack the shipment and one of their boxes they wouldn't let me just duck tape over or cover up the issues that they had with the box, I believe this is their way of sticking it to the customer. I understand FedEx employees are completely subcontractors, but just another reason why UPS is the far better choice I've never had issues there. read more

This location was very convenient to do a quick shipment. Clean and nice. They were very helpful. Had to get a gift shipped to the destination by Christmas. It just made it. I would recommend it. read more

Incapable of properly entering addresses. Address was in put incorrectly and screen was not shown to me to verify address. Package is now in limbo and neither this store or fed ex itself seems to be capable of resolving issue. The level of incompetence portrayed here is astounding. read more

This FedEx Office location is just plain awful. The staff is inept, rude, and sneaky. They have done unscrupulous things with my packages on a number of occasions, and since there is no accountability on the corporate or local level, they've managed to ruin my faith in the brand as a whole. Why come back? Trust me, I only visit this FedEx location when I have absolutely no other alternatives. They're open an hour later than certain other shipping choices on certain days. Every time, I feel like I am going to a sketchy carnival, where the one available ride results in my wallet and all its monetary contents falling out of my pocket, and little else. One time, this FedEx lied to me about how much insurance it put onto my package, which I paid them to pack. I paid for $500, but they only insured it for $100, and when the box split open, spilling some contents and destroying others, FedEx didn't give a single, solitary care. The clerk who pulled off the bait-and-switch was never located - are you serious? I could not despise this location more, or at least I think I couldn't, but every time I go, I surprise myself by hating the experience more than the last hateful experience. This most recent visit was unpleasant because a staff member tried to tell me that I should ship a Rubbermaid bin four thousand miles without a box around it. Really? These aren't hermetically-sealed vessels. They're floppy-lidded bins, and I don't trust this FedEx location to ship something four feet, let alone four thousand miles, without a major malfunction. The worker blustered, and told me that he would have to pack it, and that he would have to charge me $17. Notice I didn't say that he offered to pack it, or suggested I use FedEx's packing services. He told me that he HAD to pack it. This was a complete lie. He tried to tell me that he had to pack all three of my boxes, which is patently untrue, and then when I called him on it, he tried to pawn off extremely large boxes on me, boxes that were not at all suitable for the shipments, because the bigger the box, the higher the box/shipping cost. By the way, guess what $17 bought me? Seventeen U.S. dollars bought me a disaffected guy dropping my bin into a box upside-down, closing the box half-heartedly, and putting a few pieces of packing tape onto the whole affair. No padding. No peanuts. No nothing. He didn't even secure the bin lid. When I called him out on packing my item so obviously upside down, he told me that boxes have no up or down, and will be turned every which way in transit. But this is only partially true: much of the time, a box will be rightside-up, and the bill of shipping should be rightside-up, and the box will perhaps, in theory, be delivered rightside-up, so let's start this out on the right foot, shall we? I just could not believe his laziness, snideness, and lack of interest in me as a customer and as a person. I asked him questions that received no answer or acknowledgment, requiring me to ask the same question multiple times, and I found him to be so completely unpleasant that I went to the car and just screamed. My latest packages are, surprise, late. I would implore anyone who does not enjoy sitting in a bucket of stinging fire ants to make whatever life choices are necessary to keep you as far away from this FedEx as possible, forever. read more

Anything in your life that you thought was wrong before going to this Kinko's immediately becomes insignificant once you walk through the doors. I have been here on three separate occasions and all three of those have had their own unique hang-ups. Each time I needed to make copies for meetings in the morning. Each time I spent about 2 hours there. Nothing fancy. Just regular 'ol copies. In short, their machines simply do not work. You'll have a 500 page job that quits after about 50. Then, the attendant has to run manual copies using the printer behind the counter. No exaggeration, it would jam every 2-4 pages. The process is absolutely exhausting. There is no reason that, in the 21st century, it should to take 2 hours to make copies at a store that is dedicated to... making copies. Honestly, if you can find another location, please do, because you will regret using this one. My persistent optimism kept me coming back. Lesson learned. Nick read more

Very unhelpful staff, completely incompetent of providing services for a customer. They are unable to scan and email something to you and pay for it. They seem pretty in capable of doing their job compared to most other store I've never had a problem apparently they need new staff to be trained. It's very time-consuming and costly did you do it yourself. 2nd time tried again to get labels made! Called first just to make sure. Of course I drive down there and they don't have the paper and then they don't have the time and then it's gonna take days that's not what I was told over the phone are these people idiots read more

I don't know what it is with Kinko's in RI but apparently there is a rule about having more than two machines per location. At least both of these machines were working. Staff was pleasant, machines were working, and a decent assortment of binders and other office needs. read more

I was greeted by assistant manager Kasey with a warm smile and was very helpful. I had left my tape at home and she took the time to tape up my box I was dropping off. Great customer service and detail oriented staff. Kasey you rock! It's the small things that one does for us customers that mean the world to us.
