I had a negative experience with an employee named Kee kee. Her demeanor was unprofessional and came across as dismissive and rude. I am not expecting small talk or pleasantries, but basic courtesy in guiding a customer through the process was clearly lacking. I sent a package internationally on March 27, for which I paid $298.04 and was told it would arrive at the destination on April 5. By April 10, the package was still sitting in the airport in the country of destination and then the next day it was returned to my address in Washington. When I asked for money back, the Fedex human robot at the end of the phone line repeated that I don't qualify, since there was no contact information provided in the invoice. I'm sorry, but WHOSE JOB IS IT TO TAKE DOWN THE NECESSARY INFORMATION? It is certainly not my job but the job of the Fedex store employee who didn't do it. read more

This FexEx Office location is great! Plenty of work stations - in total probably 8 computer stations for you to access the internet, scan or print things. They also have plenty of Xerox machines, both color and black and white. All you have to do is stick your credit card in and take it out once you're done. If you need a receipt, no problem. There is a self service kiosk that you can print a receipt at. When I needed a little help with the service machine, one of the knowledgeable staff members promptly helped me. Only thing is, keep in mind of the mark-up on print and Xerox jobs and limit your time at the work stations if possible. The bill adds up quickly but is great if you need something quickly on the run. read more

Dropped off a $1000 phone (Samsung note 8) and a wireless charger with a tracking number and using the label sent to me by Samsung at this location but the phone disappeared and I wasn't provided with an answer on what happened with the phone. Very disappointed and I will get to the bottom of it even if I have to take legal actions read more

Terry (Teri?) at this FedEx store is WONDERFUL! She was such a huge help - so responsive and efficient, and an excellent communicator. I called for help after uploading my file on the website didn't work as planned, and she gave me the store email address so I could send it that way. Then she called me when she received it to go over the details together. When she thought she had it right she asked me if I could come into the store and doublecheck before printing on the high quality water resistant paper. When I arrived she had executed the tricky double sided brochure layout perfectly, and she printed it out right on the spot. The final result exceeded my expectations and the product was a big success. Very grateful for Terry's (Teri's) exceptional and professional help. I highly recommend this FedEx location. read more

So Apparently no one in DC ever has to print something on a Saturday morning because every place I looked up doesn't open till 10 AM. Then I found this place that offers 24/7 printing and was happy I would be able to print off my stuff and get to the DMV before the line was out the door. Saturday mornings and I don't really get along (it may just be a little weird because we only see each other about once a year), so I ended up getting to Fedex about an hour after I planned. Thank God it took me so long to get out of my apartment because this Fedex doesn't open till 9 AM on Saturdays. Now I can't actually hold this against Fedex because when I checked, their website had the correct hours and it was Yelp that led me astray *GASP*. Since I use Yelp multiple times a day and this is the first time it has given me faulty information I will forgive and forget, but the actual store hours are: Monday - Thursday 24 hours Friday 12:01 AM - 11:00 PM Saturday 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Sunday 9:00 AM - 11:59 PM Once inside the store I tried to print something using the little kiosk, but it did not work. I am not sure whether it was my fault or the technology's fault, but I decided to just go up to the desk and ask them to print it. They obliged, but it took a long time. Like 10 minutes to print off two pages. They seemed to be having a hard time getting it to print and the employees kept asking each other, which printer was named what. Overall the staff was nice and I got my pages printed, but i was not all that impressed by my experience. read more

I often rely on this Kinko's when my internet dies at home or when I have to print something or fax something. (Yes, my home office has not ventured into those capabilities yet. Perhaps b/c by home office I mean using my laptop while on my bed.) This Kinko's comes through for having the internet and their other services readily available for 24/7. They're not five stars though b/c their customer service could improve. (e.g. Their staff is not too helpful/friendly.) read more

This place is amazing! The workers here greet you and you can send all your documents or things you want to get it printed, laminated etc via email. You can ask to get a sample printed before you start your order and they deliver really quickly. I got 100 color printed copy within less than 5 minutes and they gave me a 20% coupon and came out to be ~70 dollars with a nice quality. The Store Manager blatantly helped another customer that came in after me even though he saw me waiting in line. Additionally, while he helped me I wasn't greeted or anything. His demeanor was quite stand-offish and throughout our conversation he was short with everything he said. This was not done with the person he helped before me. It was obvious that he was not happy with helping me simply ship papers. The only difference between the three of us was that I was the POC. It was a really disheartening experience and it is unacceptable. read more

Update! I just called the Fed Ex office in question--learned that the account automatically gets a $15 hold. i was not told this, which is illegal. I printed out 5 copies of a black and white document, and I have a $15 hold on my account. The total was supposed to be less than $1.00. Clearly Federal Express is geared to big corporate clients and doesn't care very much about the individual who just needed copies of documents before an appointment or meeting. This is the second time I have received an outrageous bill for something so simple. Today I made 5 black and white copies of a document, a total of less than a dollar. I ended the session and hurried to where I needed to go. Later I learned that I had been billed $15.00! Now I have to go to the work of trying to get refunded the money and may not even have a receipt. Previously I needed to print out emails. So simple. It ended up costing me $7 for something that should have costed way less. I don't even know if I can get a refund for being over billed today. It really is outrageous. The staff could have stayed long enough to ensure this simple transaction was completed safely. They weren't that busy. But no! Now I have this to deal with. Last time I had to practically beg someone to help me to print out a report from email. And I have some knowledge of computers. There used to be a wonderful copy center here. I was never overfilled like this. I'm fed up and now have to take the time to see if I can get a refund. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

From the moment you step into this store, you are welcomed and asked if you need assistance; this is done in a friendly way, not an overly intrusive way. They always do fabulous job on my online print orders and before I know it, I have my order and I'm on my way to do business as usual. Could ask for more than that! Have used numerous FedEx Kinkos offices for printing needs all through Chicago, D.C. and New York. All have been accommodating, but this location shocked me. I noticed a young gentleman behind the counter with so much energy and enthusiasm and assumed it was his first day at the job. Most Fedex places have jaded employees (and move verrrrry slow). This guy was invigorating, outgoing and super attentive to say the least. It turned out he was the manager, David and was training a new employee as well as handling print jobs. Not only was he super accommodating with our print jobs but adapted to last minute changes and took it upon himself to make sure we got everything we needed in a timely manner with genuine sincerity and seamless execution. Typically with other Fedex Kinkos locations, we are always told all the things they can't do, but David simply took care of it, no worries. Amazing. This is our go-to Fedex location from now on. I don't post reviews often but this experience was too compelling to ignore. I've never seen anyone so outgoing and accommodating with such vigor and sincerity as David. Corporate should take notice. read more

It's a bit expensive, but my small print jobs are done within 2 hours, they call if they have questions, and the print jobs are always spectacularly good. I don't know what else you could ask for on short notice for printing services. read more

One of the most unprofessional and non-competitive shipping facilities in all of Washington DC. Dave, the store manager, is an absolute imbecile when it comes to customer service and how to effectively manager a store. He charged me over $20 for an envelope shipping to Chicago and said it was due to the location which makes absolutely no sense. Keep your money and stay far away from this place, staff is unprofessional and rude, the cost to ship makes absolutely no sense. Go to USPS for all your shipping needs, avoid this place at all costs. read more

I am flabbergasted by all the excellent reviews this place has gotten! I must agree with the reviewer who asked if she could give less than one star, which is what I would do if possible. I sent out a routine Fed Ex package, using the recipient's account with his permission. Because the account number is blacked out on the label, I had to phone him to get it; they let me use an in-house phone. When I reached my party we chatted for a while about the book MS I was submitting; and I noticed that two of the staff were positively glaring at me! When I hung up, one of them said, "You are doing business on my business" meaning, on my time. I suppose I may have stayed on a bit longer than necessary, but surely that did not merit his crappy attitude. But even before that, there were two parties ahead of me on the Fed Ex line. It must have taken them half an hour to deal with them! Really, really bad. read more

I sent in a print job in the early morning and was told it would be ready for pickup at 1pm. Received a call at 12:30 to verify that I really needed to print 100 pages (yes, I did). I was then informed that because it was such a huge job it couldn't be done until 5pm. When I insisted that I relied on their promise to have the job completed by 1pm, the gentleman on the phone told me that their printer can only print 53 pages per minute. Not sure why a 2-minute print job takes 8 hours? Avoid this place if you want to be able to rely at all on getting things printed on time. read more

Worst experience ever. I swear they were taking notes from the "Pop Copy" sketch from the Chappelle Show. The kid who works there, Chen, seemed like he was going out of his way to passive aggressively tick off any customers who dared ask for his assistance. There is a total lack of customer service - they misquoted the time that my job would be completed and then told me to call around to other stores in the area to see if they could do the job that they could not. It was incredibly discouraging to work with these people - as I was bounced around to three different folks working there. I finally just said screw it and found a privately owned printing company that got the job done in no time AND hand delivered it to me at 1:30am. This FedEx site (along with several others) only had one employee working who had no idea how to use the self-service printing equipment (he even said "I don't know how to use it") the only solution he had was to have my buy a flash drive to maybe get it to work. He offered no help when I entered the store, FedEx needs to train their employees better. read more

You would think most stores near downtown stock stationary. After walking many blocks, thank goodness for FedEx! Had all sorts or business stationary and quite a few invitation cards and stock. Wish they had been listed for stationary when I searched Yelp. read more

A colleague and I had an excellent experience recently at this FedEx location. We needed something printed quickly for use by our customers the next morning. We arrived at the FedEx around 5:00 PM and explained our pressing time schedule and the details of our order. Narvin was amazing! He generated a proof for us on the spot and then had our order ready for pick-up by 11:00PM that night. Very professional service!
