Ms. Kim has personality, always pleasant, knowledgeable about me maximizing all of the options available to me for the services in which I am inquiring about. Very efficient and delivers in a timely manner . . . I am very pleased with this location. I often come here for printing services or I desperately need to get a package delivered. For quicker service, email all orders. If you aren't in a rush, bring it in. The store in clean, decent size, and can get a little crowded during the lunch hour. One of the staff (young tall woman) was inefficient, clumsy and extremely disrespectful. Reluctant to answer my questions, gave me false info about international shipping. She was so obnoxious that I decided to cancel my shipment after I paid. She seemed to have problems with foreigners. Such individuals should be either trained to control their hate or simply not be the front person of a business. read more

This is the best experience I have had at any printing or shipping center! I was tasked with making an executive publication of over 200 pages, tabs, bindings, etc.... I was intimidated by the task but hoped that FedEx could help me out..... and they sure came through!!! I was greeted by Travis who I explained the task to and provided him my thumb drive. We went through what files I needed printed and got that done. They then took my whole set of 300+ printed pages and scanned them into 1 pdf for me to email for final approval. Kim assisted me as well and once I got the approval, they printed the final book for me with nice heavy paper, spiral binding, etc. The best part of this experience is that it was done quickly, with tons of patience for my detailed order and they handled multiple customers Ali g with me, but I never felt unattended. It's a shame I had a pleasant experience the other day here (well somewhat the woman who works there was very kind but did print all of my documents wrong. ) THEY CLOSE ABOUT 15 minutes early I had an order for pickup they never sent me a confirmation it was done I stopped by on my way home and they were closed at 8:45. Terrible packing services. Went in to ship a poster board, and the staff crammed it into a box that it was too small for and didn't package it securely. Also charged me full price for an art/frame box without even completely assembling/securing the item. Ended up arriving scratched and scuffed due to moving around in the box in transit. Definitely my worst experience with FedEx considering I've used the frame boxes before, had them assembled well, and had no issues previously. read more

Why isn't the manager, Marco, of this store wearing a mask as mandated by law for businesses in Washington DC - and even required by this store's own rules? There are signs outside and inside the store saying it is required. And yet the entire time he was at the register processing my order, Marco did not wear one or even have one around his neck. The other staff member there was wearing one, I was too, but not Marco. Given the current state of the pandemic, he should be for the protection of customers and the other staff. Arrogant of him to think the law and store policy do not apply to him too. Makes me concerned for my safety and the general public to be going to a business like this. If you the customer should see this happen here, you should complain via The FedEx site as well as on yelp. read more

This is one of those cases where initially things go south, but because customer service saves the day, everything looks turns out great... and it even seems better than if everything went right the first time. My PDF print job got botched because of a non-standard font that got used. They re-did the job after I had someone from headquarters send me a revised PDF. Even though they had a million other things going on, they fit me in and got me out the door. The package pick-up person even jumped on the computer to get my job done. The staff here was super helpful and focused on solving the problem at hand. read more

The only reason this place gets five stars is because of the service. I only go to FedEx or UPS when I have to and I always feel like I am getting ripped off. No matter what I am shipping, it is always more expensive than I thought and the service is usually terrible. Even though it was busy, the lady working there (I forget her name), was super friendly and efficient. She made sure that I was paying the least amount possible for what I required. I gotta give this location five stars. I had a last minute project and they totally came to the rescue. They were able to help...after I had called another kinkos who didnt have everything needed for the project. I reached out to them late morning to print and mount a poster. I emailed it over and they called to confirm what was needed and told me when it would be ready. It turned out better than expected and it was done on time. This fedex is in my neighborhood. I have done a lot printing work at this place. While Kim has been always nice and professional in the past, I encountered Timothy three times recently. Two of the three times Timothy has been disrespectful, impatient and unprofessional. read more

Just wanted to thank the great manager for having my order ready for me and comp'ing the whole thing. They didn't mount it, which my order specified, but they took care of it right away and provided it free of charge. It helped out my (small) event budget and I appreciated how they fixed it immediately without question, and didn't make me stand around a fill out a bunch of paperwork. I would like to give a huge shout-out to FedEx employee Alexis Valentine. We came around lunch time on a Wednesday and it was crazy busy. We had four large frames to ship and she told us it would be a little bit of a wait. We were understanding and were able to sit down and observe just how well she was balancing all of the other guests that needed assistance. She was kind and patient with all requests. She finished packing our things as soon as she had a spare moment. Alexis has great knowledge and recommendations for the shipping and packing procedures. She made a possible un-pleasant experience a great one just by her positive and ready-to-help attitude. I would whole heartedly recommend her for employee of the month or a promotion (or both)! read more

I had a really difficult time getting my order from this place, but the five stars are for the staff. There was only one person working on a Saturday, and when I went, she was unable to locate my print order (that should have been ready at 7pm the night before). I was working and unable to go back to pick up my flyers before they closed. She was finally able to locate my order, and went out of her way to HAND-DELIVER my order to me at work after she was off the clock. I believe her name was Jacquin Clarke. To preface this review, I should say that I have never written a negative review of a business on yelp. I save my reviews to say positive things about businesses. However, I had such a poor experience at this Fed Ex. From the moment I arrived at this Fed Ex, the staff member on duty (whose name I will not put on this review out of respect, even though she was less than kind to me) was rude. You don't need to be over the top cheery, but it is not that hard to be kind and friendly. This staff member was sarcastic, condescending, and displayed an attitude as I asked her to help me as I put together my box for shipping--the exact point of this business. I expect a little more than that when I go to a business where customer service is part of their business model. I will now be traveling out of my way to the Office Depot in Dupont Circle. I had a great experience with their shipping process and their staff. I recommend them instead. If anyone had a better experience at another FedEx, please let me know. In the meantime, I highly recommend you try another business. read more

The lady who helped me, Kim, was so nice and calming. I was panicking trying to send a FedEx envelope to someone so they could ship me an important doc next day. (They wouldn't rush deliver otherwise and we were already behind schedule due to a mixup) Kim cut that wait down by simply suggesting I buy and email them a FedEx label. She walked me through the whole account setup step by step. I got my doc by 10:30 the next morning when it would've otherwise taken a week. She was very helpful and polite. Everyone there was. I would leave ZERO stars if possible for this FedEx Office location. It's absolutely horrible customer service especially if you actually need the documents you're having printed! I dropped off some fliers for copying on a Thursday afternoon, and I was leaving the following afternoon for a trade show and needed to take the fliers with me on my 5pm flight. The employee told me that my documents would be ready by 8am on Friday morning, giving me plenty of time to get them before I had to head to Dulles. I stopped by the store on Friday morning at about 9:30-10am, yet the store was closed even though the sign said it opened at 7:30am. I was a little frustrated, but figured I still had plenty of time to get my documents. I called FedEx HQ to see if they knew when the store opened, and as far as they knew, they said 7:30am. They spoke to someone in the area who said the store actually opened at 11am, so I should go back then. Well, I went back at lunch, around noon, and the store STILL WAS NOT OPEN. I called HQ AGAIN, and they got the district manager on the job to open the store. My boss and I went by the store again and someone was there trying to open it, but did not have the proper key. The FedEx truck even came by trying to drop off packages, and he could not even get in. At this point, it was nearing 3pm and I had to leave for the airport...and I still had no documents. I ended up sending my documents electronically to the FedEx near my trade show, and they did a superb, quick job. Luckily, I didn't pay for the documents. And funny enough, I never got a phone call telling me the documents at M Street were ready. I assume they are still closed. read more

This place is an even mix of incompetence and stupidity. I have never had a single print job done properly on the first try. FedEx's internal print systems are so bad, it won't be right despite best efforts of some well meaning employees. This most recent time I noticed they are trying harder not to refund money for botched jobs. Do yourself a favor and don't bother. The person behind the counter might be nice, but that doesn't translate into a decent print job, and your money will he wasted in the process. read more

Worst FedEx location I've ever encountered. I usually like these places, but here the copiers cannot scan and send or save to USB. You have to use a desktop computer with flatbed scanner, wait for scanner warmup, etc., which takes more time and money. And the staff is remarkably rude, as if they are being unreasonably put upon when asked questions. read more
