As a millennial living in a fairly small apartment, I don't own a printer. To me, that's almost on par with having a home phone line. But, today I had to print something, so I came here to do so. Service was friendly and helpful, and the self-service workstation process was easy and quick. My one complaint is that it seemed to cost a LOT to print a basic piece of paper here. 15 pages plus like five minutes of computer time cost $10 and change. A little excessive imo. read more

This place has saved me a few times since it's 24hrs. Almost every time I've been in Jamal has been working. When they say the employees make the difference, he is a living example. Always cheerful and helpful. I like FedExOffice (going back to when I was a student and they were called Kinko's). This location is convenient to Farragut Square metro. There is only street parking so walk or Metro I'd you can. This area is usually hopping during the day. The store has the usual business supplies and services (printing out posters, banners, etc) along with computers and copiers/printers for self service use. They also do passport photos. Again, the employees make the difference so if you're in need of office/business services, check this place out. read more

I had a last minute project that needed to be printed and laminated. I came in to this location with low expectations, not counting on getting my project completed and in my hands until at least Monday. But then I met Dentaidrii and my believe in humanity is restored (for now). Dentaidrii is a young lady, a FedEx employee with a heart of gold. She was handling a few customers at the same time, all while smiling and providing an exceptional customer service experience. Had to get a few items copied and bounded last minute a couple of times over the course of a few days. Squeezed between businesses, found this little FedEx shop. Worked with Sarah & Jamel and found them both friendly and helpful. Print jobs were completed quickly and finished product looked perfect. Love FedEx but worst location I have been to. Had to print a letter and sent it. Through my business I sent lots of mail, and I am usually amazed by FedEx speed and professionalism. Jamel was so slow - he did not understand to get an email to print and consistently spend much longer than needed on customers and let people jump the line. Person working here was pretty short and unfriendly. I did an online order to pick up in store. It was 13 pieces of just black and white paper and it gave me a pick up time of 3 hours later. When I showed up 15 minutes after my pickup time, my order still wasn't ready. I would say call ahead to make sure your online order is ready before you come in because obviously the time the company gives you is incorrect. read more

I work late night hours. I have frequently come to this location after work. Sometimes I come in late night after going to Wawa. I've always had a nice enough experience until the last visit here. Within a week's time, a number of things happened. First I came in late night and a homeless woman was sleeping by a computer. I left the store because she smelled bad and another customer was acting really weird. I told the guy working, he looked Ethiopian, and I think he addressed the woman. A couple of days later on an early Tuesday morning, I came in after going to Wawa. I had a hoagie and my tablet. I was there to write up some stuff for my Fantasy Basketball League. I like to write and it took me over an hour. The woman working informed me at 3 am that she was closing the store at 3:30 am ( so much for being open 24-hrs). I thanked her for the head's up and said goodbye as I left at 3:15 am. I didn't purchase anything but neither did the two other people sitting near me at the self-serve laptop stations. Two days later on a Thursday morning, I come back in again. I sit at a computer because I want to check on my Fantasy Basketball League. We're in the playoffs and this was a quick check on the stats from the night. Come into the store and get a friendly "hello" from the woman behind the counter. A manager whom I recognize is with her. He's an amiable guy. Always friendly and jovial with customers. He sees me and approaches me, saying " I noticed you've been in before and didn't do any business with us. I saw it in the video we keep. You cant stay here if you're not doing business." Wha? I said, " I didn't know you noticed." I tell him the computer station I'm sitting at has a computer that doesn't work. He suggests I move to the next one. I do and proceed to stay online long enough for a $4.08 charge. During my time I get upset. I've been here before and no one ever questioned my using the computer. He had said that he had to tell me the policy because there are legal matters, lawsuits possible, yada, yada, yada...His tone of voice and lack of eye contact and firmness of his statement tell me he is uncomfortable saying these things. I'm upset because as a regular customer I expected some leeway in this policy they've chosen to enforce. I also know the deal. Hell, I used to work many years ago for some time with Kinko's Copies, before FedEx bought them. I could manage the store for all I know about this business. He doesn't know this but I do know what he was doing. He was giving me the Bum's Rush. I was offended. After speaking with me, I hear him say to the woman "He's doing business using the computer". I see what the deal was. She told him about my previous visit. I finish my business and leave. Offended. I've soured on this place. They used to manage who came into the store. Kept the door locked to keep out the riff raff. I had a gym bag with clothes I washed at an all-night laundromat in Maryland and came here after a Wawa run. This is what I do sometimes after work. "After work" for me is this time at night. It's unusual but it's what I do. I didn't appreciate the treatment and vowed never to return here, day or night. This wasn't cool and I doubt he "looked at the cameras and saw me" as he said. This location has lost a customer. I may not have spent a lot of money but I was consistent. There are plenty of other FedEx Offices I can go to. I will now plan my nights around not coming to this location. read more

I will start this review with I usually HATE having to have anything done at Kinko's, but last minute tradeshow needs made it necessary, and man did this staff pull through. Must be a DC thing!! My graphic designer from work, submitted artwork via the Web, and being the professional she is, she called to confirm receipt, and the staff was like--"no worries, the graphics will be ready at 12:00 on Monday." Without these graphics, my booth is bare--no branding at all--bad news, update the resume, pack up your desk. I also needed color copies made and needed them quick--no problem once again. I picked everything up--great quality and customer service. i would use them again without hesitation. read more

Needed to ship some of the stuff we bought during our week vacation back East. Went here at 7:45 AM on Saturday, June 4th and there was a sign on the door, "back in 15 minutes". No time reference, but I waited about 7 minutes until the 'guy' showed up with his breakfast and coffee. One star 'ding' for that. He did take good care of me and acknowledged/apologized for the delay. He carefully packaged my items and had me on my way in about 10 minutes! read more

I visited this location today to have some designs printed onto fabric transfer paper & the employees were very dismissive of my needs. The 2 women employees talked too much & needless to say I spent $5 & left without my print jobs. Its too expensive for computer rentals as well. read more

I came in last minute printing with a design I'd made quickly online. They printed a few samples so I could pick the right card stock, were able to print it right away while I waited so I didn't have to come back next day, and Jamel helped me make sure the design was perfectly centered and looked great. read more

This place is awesome because the employees are awesome. I come here all the time for work-related projects and they're always attentive, careful, patient and friendly. (I've been working in this area and coming to this location for 4 years.) Saurav and Joanna are notable employees, and they have been super helpful even with tricky printing projects, and when someone had a question about my print job they gave me a phone call and were courteous and cheerful on the phone. Would definitely recommend this location. I don't know what they're doing, but they're definitely doing it right! Would also recommend going in the late afternoon, around 2-4pm, when they're least busy and there's less of a wait. If there is a wait because they're helping another customer, they always acknowledge you and apologize for the inconvenience, though. Five stars well deserved. read more

Excellent service The first person I passed coming in stopped stocking shelves to greet me and offer help it was a young man and I regret not getting his name. I was amazed to walk in any store on K St and not be treated poorly. I asked several questions and he gave me easy answers. After putting my idea of what I needed together I went to counter and was immediately helped by another friendly employee by the name of Robin. She figured out how to get a letter off my iPhone and make 150 copies. She transferred letter to copier and shortly after I had 150 perfect copies. It was beginning to storm. She put my copies in a box then double bag with plastic to protect copies. When I got home a hour later I was soaked through my underwear and the only thing I had that was dry was my copies. read more

Of the many Fed Ex offices in the city, this one has lots of terminals and an manager that goes the whole nine yards to welcome and help his customers. The service quality does drop off if he is not there, like on Sunday. read more

Saurav is wonderful. I went in with a friend to print off 7 files for her wedding. They were of various paper sizes with front and back printing which needed to fed twice to make sure they aligned. Saurav was incredibly helpful, competent, and nice. He let me proof every print to make sure it aligned. I expected him to be overwhelmed with how much we needed to print, but he made it look easy while handling other costumers besides us. If you can go around 9:30 on a Friday, or any other time Saurav is working. I think you'll have a wonderful experiance. read more
