Only Love and Light can conquer their opposites." MLK, 1963…read more Ok that fateful day in 1968. The shots rang out. Who knows why? But for all the wrong reasons we can see the legacy that Martin Luther King left behind. They have dedicated this place to his legacy. Let's go inside the museum. The legacy of his life is outlined here. The strife of the world. This is living history. The vision that he had and what he has done. The quiet proof and all that happened here. The car the way life was set all those days ago. The museum outlines historic events in a difficult way and time when the world was involved in much change. This is a must see..... when you come to Memphis. The mystery and myth of love and light can be seen here . The value is something you cannot put a price on . Freedom! For all! You will learn something here. This self proclaimed leader will shake you . Bring tissues and at least two hours to see the museum. The parking is on street for best results. Again, living history. The speaker box outside on the side walk outlines the "day of." Love and light are what he left.

In a time where history is being threatened, seeing this was beyond amazing. I've been to Memphis so many times between 2025 to present. Shame on me for not having come sooner. $25 for a ticket when in reality you're able to see the hotel just by coming by. Service is great, it's Memphis where people are super friendly and kind. I'd definitely recommend to come and check this place out!

FedEx: 2026 Jun 23 (5 of 5)…read more We understand navigating where we live can be dangerous, especially if you have a truckload of heavy goods while making swift turns along the mountain roads. When the delivery van stops at the house, the driver has to prepare, unload, and deliver the goods without damaging them. We first met Amkah (sic) in February. He's very friendly and personable. Amkah interacts with us in a professional manner. He never seems upset or distressed and we appreciate that. Amkah's job is not light work, and he takes each parcel as a challenge. Today, Amkah delivered three heavy boxes of furniture, then, with a smile and a wave, he's off to his next delivery. Keep up the good work, Amkah. For the management at FedEx who reads my review, we hope you appreciate that you have one of the finest employees anyone would want to hire. ** Amkah gave me permission to post his photo on social media

Yet another example of the crying need for a zero-stars option…read more Oh, FedEx, how do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways. * A delivery driver tries to SCAN my driver's license (thereby putting my sensitive information at risk per their sloppy transmission and storage of it), rather than the customary and sufficient practice of merely looking at it, to confirm my identity upon delivery of a signature-required item. * On two separate occasions (purchases from each of two merchants in Europe), drivers leave my item in the lobby of my complex, and then depart -- without alerting me to their arrival, or telling me that I owe a tariff fee, or trying to collect said fee -- and then, long afterward, FedEx tries to compel me to pay said fees . . . even long after the Supreme Court had ruled the tariffs unlawful, AND FedEx was already in the process of doing the one thing it SHOULD do: submitting a request for refund to the feds. (Double-dipping, anyone? How about strong-arming? Extortion?) * My latest purchase, from Greece -- made, reluctantly, after the merchant offered a tariff-prepaid option at checkout, so there'd be no surprises of the kind noted above. (Alas, there are now, again, new tariffs on various countries . . . which, for the time being, are being allowed.) But then my item, in the course of its travels, arrives in Paris and then SITS THERE, IN A FEDEX FACILITY, FOR 8 DAYS. * Then, after tracking info shows it finally made its way to the company's home base (Tennessee), and it sits there for another couple of days, I am suddenly alerted that it's due to be delivered the next day (without any notice of a projected delivery date). And now, today, with a delivery window of "Before 8 pm", I'm stuck here at home, watching for it and repeatedly refreshing their tracking page (because it doesn't update itself), lest someone else grab it from the outer (unlocked) entry to my complex before I can get to it. * Sometimes the tracking page offers a "live" map, so we can follow the progress of the driver toward our home. Sometimes not. And nearly all the time, it doesn't even work, because attempts to use it take one into an endless error loop. I HAVE ISSUED A NEW LOGO (ATTACHED). It's A.I.* - generated, as an update for the 21st Century. _________________________________________________ * (Annoyed Individual)

No matter what anyone says I sure wouldn't want the responsibility their employees undertake…read moretransporting the Covid Vaccine! With the horrible weather we have had they work under very difficult conditions. Better known as FEDEX this company is huge. There's one of their stores every couple of blocks in my neighborhood. The company is known for its overnight shipping service and pioneering a system that can track packages and provide real-time updates on package location. I find this service exceptionally convenient. I'm happy with the service I have received at their brick and mortar stores. They're very conveniently located in most neighborhoods. There are a few locations in my neighborhood open 24 hours. They provide other services at the stores. I've used the copy service and fax. These things come with a price so I try to avoid anything but shipping. Typically the shipping is paid for by the sender when I return merchandise. I've always found the employees in my neighborhood locations to be knowledgeable, friendly and they help me with the printer. Things have deteriorated during the past year. I had a prescription missing during the pandemic. I've learned to be prepared for anything and expect nothing. I recently had a time sensitive package I needed delivered handled timely and with care. I can't say I have had many complaints over my long history as a customer of Federal Express. There's definitely room for improvement.

Don't ship ship ANYTHING using FedEx EVER!!!!!!…read more This company is a DISGRACE to the service industry and is totally spineless!!! My wife cooked a special meal for our daughter and requested NEXT DAY delivery on two separate occasions and both deliveries FAILED!!! Here are the details: Attempt #1 - Dropped off the package on Friday 3/20/26 and paid for Saturday delivery. Package was not delivered until the following WEDNESDAY!!! My wife lost the receipt so we were unable to make a claim. Attempt #2 - Cooked another meal and tried again. This time dropping off early Thursday and paid for next day delivery for Friday. We paid $135 for the delivery and this time saved our receipt. When the package was not delivered Saturday we went to the store and complained. We asked for a refund. The store has NO POWER to offer refunds!!!! They make you call the 800 number!!! Well, it was the weekend and no one was available. We called on Monday and were told it has not yet been delivered and we have to call AFTER the delivery is made. I called The next day (after it was delivered) and was told you have to file a claim ONLINE - they won't do it over the phone!!!! I went online to file a claim, guess what? You have to have an account to file a claim!!! So I created an account and even gave them my credit card number to be able to open an account! Tried to file a claim and kept getting error messages!!! Called back and told them the issue. I was on the phone for 45 minutes. I was transferred to 3 different people (including online support where they couldn't help me file online). The third person refused to give me a refund!!!! Her reasoning: "I see the driver attempted to make the delivery on Friday and was unable to access the building!" I explained I was not requiring a SIGNATURE and they should have just left it at the door. I also explained they had the phone number of our daughter, why didn't they call her??? I explained she was home!!! They didn't care!!! No refund!!!

Not that I couldn't print most of them either at my office or my home office, I use Office Depot to obtain a professional result. I ordered on line a 8.5x5.5 BOOKLET, cardstock for the front and back cover, and just print on the inside, no graphics, and stapled. I got an almost immediate response that my document was ready. I left work and went to pick up the documents. What I received was 4 sheets of paper, 8.5x11. When I talked with the associate at the copy center trying to explain to her why what she gave me was not what I ordered, she was really no help. I had to explain to her why what she gave me was not what I ordered. There was no cardstock, no folding of the document to be stapled...NO BOOKLET. The only saving grace in this was that I only ordered one. She said they could fix it but the person with that skill wouldn't be in until the next day. I needed that to put in a sample package. I went home and created the document myself. This is the second negative review I've given Office Depot. I'm creating an account at Staples. I don't expect perfection, just give me what I ask and pay for.
