I was in town for business but had to drop something off and found this location. I found the employees to be personable and helpful. The store is designed to make it easy to see where to line up; however, the way it ropes off, it blocks customers from the copiers. That doesn't make sense. Hopefully this is fixed soon. I always use this location with no issues, but today was different. I wanted to mail off something with post cards inside a bigger envelope and have a smaller envelope inside as well ready for a return already paid for. The attendant helping me out wanted to weigh the bigger envelope without all the contents that would be inside of it, to which I told her if it's a weighted item, everything that's going inside the larger envelope should be weighed. After going back and forth for much longer than needed to about what should be done, she decides to do as I was asking (despite her attitude written all over her face). She mentioned it would be a bigger charge and to which I am fine with because on the way to the original destination, everything should be weighed for accuracy, but the smaller envelope should be weighed separately with the contents that will be returning to me. As I was leaving the store, before I could even step outside the building, I heard the other staff (Brooke) say, "you were right." With other customers still in line, we're is the decorum? Anyway, this staff needs to be trained to not talk about customers in front of current customers. read more

The only person in this dysfunctional situation that was of any help was a staff member at this store. Package was to be delivered to my home, took off work to receive it. Delivery driver did not ring door bell or knock, instead left a note stating they would return tomorrow. Called customer service only to be meant with more incompetence. Delivery driver needs a retrain and why have a customer service department if they are of no service to the customer. The only person in the equation that had a clue what was going on was the staff member at the store. Didn't catch her name but maybe that young lady should train the driver and customer service department. read more

I pay $250 per year to have a mailbox there to receive mail and packages. With UPS taking on the Amazon returns, that seems to be the majority of the traffic in the store anymore, which causes a 30-40 minute wait in line just to pick up a package. It's becoming more frequent and I've brought it up to a male manager. He said they put the tent outside the door with an employee to receive the Amazon returns but as I pointed out, almost everyone in the line inside, which extends out the door, were returning Amazon packages. Myself and 2 other boxholders waited 40 minutes in line just to pick up our packages. After I pointed that out, he just walked away and helped another person with an Amazon return. Great management skills. smh We are paying the store for a service to receive our mail while all the others coming in aren't paying anything, but we have to wait in long lines to get our packages. Who does that make sense to? Essentially, UPS is telling it's paying customers to pound sand so it can cater to Amazon. By the way, the other 2 box holders in line to pick up their packages were not very happy either! How about a dedicated line for the boxholders that are actually paying you??? read more

Used to love coming here, the staff is great. However, they have let someone set up a booth outside by the entry door selling who knows what. These guys are AGGRESSIVE and shame you for not entertaining them on their sales pitch. I watched one guy harass a person all the way to their car until they donated money which he just put in his pocket. NO ONE wants to be harassed going into stores. The Print department at this UPS is a JOY. They respond promptly when I submit an order, and they're very polished--they make sure every detail is perfect. Their correspondence is timely, cheerful and concisely thorough. They've caught my mistakes multiple times and asked clarifying questions to make sure my final products are flawless and beautiful. In the rare event there is a print error (sometimes the machines have a mind of their own, am I right?), UPS goes above and beyond to make it right. 100% recommend. Oh I am so glad to write a raving review of this store from beginning (6 months ago to current) to now. I was moving to the Waco area and wanted to start forwarding my mail a couple of weeks in advance so I would know there would be no stragglers left in my old mailbox once I left. They set up my mailbox without any issues at all. Every time I call, they are happy to check my box to see if I have any mail before I drive over to check myself. I always get an email if a package is received. When I go into the store everyone is so friendly, quick, and attentive. I actually enjoy going to get my mail even if it is for bills! Customer service was really great at this location! I was returning an Amazon purchase and needed them to print the label, which they were happy to do at no cost and super fast! The Franklin Dr. location charges $5.00 to print a label for an Amazon return. I'll definitely be making this my UPS store from here on...worth a few extra blocks! read more

Offers the lowest UPS price in Waco while providing excellent service. Can pack just about anything and can even send items freight if they don't go UPS. Cheap mailboxes, too at 5/month. What I like about the UPS Store is that the staff is very friendly and remembers you while providing service that is way better than 'mom-and-pop' shipping stores or nasty, slow post offices. read more

I went in here ONCE, two years ago...ONCE. My family and I were having some temporary financial difficulties due to a very long, nearly fatal illness I had experienced and I had to fax paperwork to my creditors to prove I needed a payment extension. The gentleman behind the counter started READING THROUGH THE DOCUMENTS I had faxed and started asking me incredibly personal questions about my finances, lifestyle, etc. Then he tried to proselytize me to go to his church saying "If I did I wouldn't have these problems anymore." If it wasn't for the fact I had to send out the fax on such short notice at the end of a working day, I would have snatched my things and RUN from this place. I was extremely offended and actually should have reported it to management when I think back on it. read more

Paid $200 to have furniture shipped UPS ground that was well within the size/weight limit per the website. The customer called me upset because it never arrived. I called around and they said it never left the store because the driver wouldn't accept it. I asked the manager why they wouldn't take it, and she said it wasn't packed well enough despite having several layers of bubble wrap and cardboard. She said it had to be in a box and withstand a 4 foot drop and 75 lb of pressure. So basically if you're package can't withstand being thrown off the truck, they'll refuse it. I don't know any cardboard box that's going to protect against being dropped 4 feet. These people are idiots. Call Fedex. read more

I needed to mail a package and have them print off the label. They told me I had to pay to use a computer and then pay for the prints. I told them I never had to do this and they told me the computer was updating- during business hours! Poor customer service to charge your customers extra to ship with a prepaid label! read more

Last week, I came into the Waco Dr store to turn in my AT&T U-Verse and Direct TV equipment. It was explained to me how AT&T will sometimes come back a year or two later and say they never got the equipment and want proof that I turned it in. He further explained that the receipt he was giving me could NOT be reprinted and that I was to hold on to it.
