I especially want to give a shout-out to Gio, who was working there today. I needed to print a shipping label, but had to wait a few minutes for someone else to finish printing! Even if I had been annoyed though, I think Gio's politeness would have calmed me down. He directed me where to wait and thanked me for my patience. I arrived at 7:30 AM to closed doors, which was bad enough, but by 8:00 AM, they still hadn't opened. Their excuse? 'Understaffing.' Yet, there was absolutely zero notification of this on their official website. This is a staggering level of incompetence. It's not even a question of good or bad customer service--there was literally no one there to provide it. Nearly 20 people were trapped waiting inside, all of them in a massive rush because they needed to mail their items before clocking into work. This chaotic mess is a direct result of USPS's systemic mismanagement. It is acceptable to face staffing shortages, but it is completely unacceptable to fail to update your official hours online. You mislead the public into believing you open at 6:00 AM, post a note on the wall saying 8:00 AM, and then fail to honor even that time due to a 'lack of personnel.' Bill did a great job of making my job easier and he had it ready in a few minutes. They seem to be pretty busy here, so I am impressed with the efficiency. We picked up a large flat rate box ($22.10 March 2023) and was informed we can pay for it when we drop the package off. So we returned a couple of hours later to do so. There was only one person in line (looks like she's renewing her passport and possibly her first time doing so) but we weren't in a hurry. A male worker came from the back to help us and our transaction was over in less than ten minutes with no issues. They provide glue sticks for customers to seal their envelopes. They sell packing supplies if you need them. This location also rents mailboxes. Convenient location and hours.
