This is a busy store which could feel hectic and annoying if it were not for the great staff they have there. Every time I have been there,the employees have been friendly and efficient. I especially want to give a shout-out to Gio, who was working there today. I needed to print a shipping label, but had to wait a few minutes for someone else to finish printing! I had no problem with this - you certainly can't expect the printing setup to be available every time you walk in. Even if I had been annoyed though, I think Gio's politeness would have calmed me down. He directed me where to wait and thanked me for my patience. Another customer came in who was frustrated about something and he didn't lose his cool. He also calmed the customer down and they left happy. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

Hit or miss who you get at the counter. My experience yesterday 12/5/23 around 11ish was smooth and quick. He had great customer service. Had great young energy and vibe. Handled 4-5 customers quick and easily. Other days, not the same lol you usually get unlucky and get assisted by some old grumpy person lol read more

This took place January 10, 2023 The store says it opens at 9am. I was there at 9am it was closed. I went back and forth from Starbucks checking for when someone would be there. Around ~10:30am there's people inside and I go in. I'm really upset because it's been an hour and a half since the location was scheduled to open. I see a guy dressed in a sports jacket, sweatpants, I asked him where he was and he said he was late. I said I know and that I was waiting since 9am and if he was going to be so late he should have found someone to cover for him. He then starts getting defensive saying he tried to and couldn't and his kid was sick. I told him I have a kid too and I can't just be waiting for him to come open up and that he should have had childcare or a babysitter- he tells me his kids in the hospital... and I should understand since I have a kid. What he doesn't get is that I can't just wait for a person to come and open there business when ever they can- I take the T and had a heavy package I needed to ship back, it was freezing outside and I took time off work to send this out expecting a store to open when it says, crazy of me I guess. This place was supposed to be open at 9am it's ~10:30am. I told him there should be someone to cover him in this instance. I requested to still speak to his manager and make a complaint. He said he was the manager and I told him I want his name. He told me his name was Victor. Then he started to give me an attitude about how I wasn't understanding regarding his situation so I took out my phone and I started to record him. I can tell where this is going and I'm documenting it. I'm all set with this guy's degrading attitude. He told me because I was being rude (never swore or even raised my voice at him, c'mon dude) he was refusing to service me and to go to another UPS location. Victor was extremely unprofessional and rude to me. I had expressed my frustrations but not once was I rude. I WAS upset- I waited a long time for this store to open. I had a very large package to return. It's freezing outside ANYONE would be upset. To not be serviced because I expressed that and I said I'd make a complaint of the delayed opening because it's not fair to the customers that came and left because no one was available to open the store on time. I hope this is looked into thoroughly because I don't think this is the kind of person that should be working in customer service. I went and looked into this store and unfortunately for them it seems like this location is notorious for opening late and closing early... So I doubt his "kid was sick and in the hospital, will call it 'mothers intuition but- I'm not buying it. Good luck to anyone who comes here before 11am and after 6pm. My daughter was moving out of Emerson at the end of the school year, and that meant boxes. And shipping them home, since I wasn't going to pay airline baggage fees for clothes and books (books are about as heavy as logs, and the weight costs are significant at the airport). She wheeled over a cart full of things, and the staff was very helpful at boxing them and quoting appropriate shipping. As expected, better price than luggage. They not only helped load the boxes and close them, getting shipping labels printed out, but they arrived in good shape. Nice going, UPS! read more

Nicest and most helpful store people you will ever meet! Even though I came 2 minutes before closing time, they still let me do a big print job (100+ pieces). They're gonna be closed over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, so I really appreciated them staying a little bit late to help me get my stuff printed. I needed to print on stock paper (harder than regular paper) and when the printer ran out of stock paper half way through the job and printed the rest on regular paper, the store person helped me re-print without extra charge. read more

The WORST company to deliver anything. I have the UPS driver on my ring cam ignoring the signed receipt I leave for him. Just sticks another. I put my signed one right in front of him- on the glass. Ugly and inconvenient for me- but whatever. I see the jackass on cam- he sees it, looks at it, ignores it, leaves another one which he highlights- package return to sender- and walks off. I try to call customer service- in purgatory hell. They can keep the packet. Up yours UPS. read more

I tried to scan some documents and had to "buy" computer time to the tune of $6.00 just to do this plus the copies didn't even come out properly. The machine is not a newer one with direct services.. Had a package that was from amazon UPS was the delivered and delivered my package in a different city.

Maybe it's OK for a package drop, but don't go near this branch for simple file printing. They charge 49 cents a page PLUS additional charges by the minute, whereas FedEx around the corner charges only 20 per page without the minute charges. That would be bad enough, but their software is out of date so it generates error messages and spins in circles on the simplest jobs while the clock is running up your charges, for which their staff is entirely unapologetic. The net is you will pay over $1/page for which Vic, the incredibly rude supposed manager, acts as if he is doing YOU a favor, and yells if you complain. ("You should just print at home"). Thanks, Vic, you really understand customer service. Avoid. read more

I tried to buy a cardboard box to bring home and package something up. They said it would be 35$ for this kind of box, 35$ for a fucking cardboard box. I said "how the fuck Can a box be 35$" to which the head employee or manager replied "oh it has very specific dimensions... blah blah blah" I went in later to ship a MacBook that i had packaged up and the guy said they won't ship MacBooks unless they package it themselves. I told him I don't want any insurance. He said still they won't ship the MacBook for me since they did not "professionally safely package it" That's the last time I go to this store. The UPS on Huntington Ave never gives me the run around when I ship stuff. I've shipped some stuff no problem before through this store but don't have time for games so I won't be going back. read more

Print: 59¢ per page Computer usage: 50¢ per min If you need to print something, this is right next to the Boylston stop right off the green line next door to Starbucks on the corner. It's quick, fast and relatively cheap. I went in here this past weekend to print some work stuff, and had my usb. Guy behind the desk said to just jump on the computer and print it. Got off the computer and they charged me for using the computer! I thought the computer usage price was if you were going to use the internet, SO BE CAREFUL. This is the UPS Store I use when I have to drop off any ARS packages for work or when I have any personal mailings/packages. I really like the guys that work here. They've always been incredibly helpful no matter what kind of stupid questions I throw at them. I kind of envision them all performing in a band at night.. Package Deal.. or something. That wasn't creative. lol The UPS Store would totally win my heart if they would lower their prices. Ooch. Everything from supplies to shipping.. you're kind of better off going to the post office. But it's all about convenience isn't it? And like I mentioned, the service is great. If you wanted to ship an egg to the west coast, you'd probably do well getting them to pack it for you. It would arrive in pristine condition. Not that you could ship an egg. It would have to be an egg shell since I'm pretty sure a liquid like that is banned. You'd think I would remember. This UPS store is more than a print and shipping store - they are project delivery experts! Our company had a major marketing campaign that needed to be launched in 48 hours - we called Brian around 5 pm to help us figure out logistics and costs. Brian was quick to understand our needs, recommend options that would help us get the job done, and then offered to help orchestrate all the logistics. We didn't even have to go to the store! We emailed the files for all of our pieces the night before, and in less than 24 hrs he took care of every aspect of production, assembled all the packages, determined what type of shipping they would need to arrive by our deadline, and shipped them to over 200 locations across the US. Brian and his team are rockstars, and we now consider them an extension of our marketing team! We'll be working with Brian for every direct mail marketing campaign going forward. Highly recommend. PS. The reason we didn't call Brian til the end of the day is because we had been going back and forth with Fedex on price quotes all day. They refused to provide quotes over the phone because our request was apparently too complicated (though not for Brian). Instead, they sent the prices for each type of paper and colour combination- one email at a time. Then they told us we needed to assemble all the packages and print shipping labels for all 200 locations, before returning to the store so that they could ship the packages. On top of that, they were going to be at least twice as expensive; so expensive, we were considering cancelling the campaign. If you think all shipping and printing centers are alike, I've learned that they're not. Go to the experts, you'll save money and time, and your experience will be far superior. I stopped in here recently to make a bunch of copies and the one guy working was very unhelpful and unfriendly. He was the only one working and there were no other customers and he acted like I was inconveniencing him. I guess he was too busy with his book to do his job! I will never go here again. I later found out there is a copy shop virtually right across the street (and turns out they are cheaper than UPS too). I will be going to that other place for all my future copying needs. read more

I came into this UPS store yesterday and was helped by Ali with returning my Amazon purchases and he was a great help! He was patient with me when I had to pull up all my return slips on my phone and even had the forethought to set me aside politely (while I was getting my papers together) to help other customers in line, showing Ali is respectful of your time and can adapt to the environment. The staff was professional, friendly, and definitely understanding. Also, I forgot to scan my other Amazon return slip and when I returned later on that night, Frances graciously helped me look for my package and scanned my other slip. Plus she did all of this while she was on her way out the door for the night. Usually staff would be angry (and show it) but the staff was understanding and kind. Very reliable service. Very expensive though, I'd only use UPS to ship expensive or urgent items. If you live in an apartment that doesn't have a concierge, UPS delivery is going to be a nightmare. They don't drop packages, you have to sign, they don't tell you what time they'll arrive, they want you to wait wait in your house for hours and hours! read more

I came into this store on May 4th to have a package delivered to my girlfriend for her birthday. I made it very clear to the gentlemen working it was really important to me that the package be delivered to her on the day of her birthday and not earlier. He assured me he could arrange that. I was very disappointing to find out UPS still sent it two days before her birthday. I wouldn't think this would be a difficult task for a company that specializes in delivering packages. I went back into the store for an explanation. The manager Stacey was apologetic and helpful. I wish I had dealt with her in the beginning. I would later get a call back from the store explaining that the store must call corporate to notify them if a package has a specific request date. It is still very disappointing to me that the employee wasn't trained properly or didn't care follow this procedure. The manager Stacey was gracious enough to refund my money but due their lack of attention to detail I wont return to this store again. Instead I will use FedEx. Had a very unfortunate experience with the man working there. Said his name was Compton. When I walked in he was being extremely rude to the woman in line in front of me. He was obviously in a pissy mood but I didn't think I would catch any of it because I was just dropping off my xfinity equipment. I was very wrong. I got into the store at 6:40 with twenty minutes left before closing. Came all the way from Medford. When I told him what I was there for, he said I needed to come back tomorrow. I asked him how much time it would take and he said ten minutes. But still wouldn't process the equipment. In the end it resulting in a shouting match with a very nasty man.
