We use different carriers for our business, always liked FedEx and was our second choice for bulk mail; we usually drop off our prepaid packages and did not have a problem before but within the last months the service at this specific location has been going from bad to worst, starting with the security guard that will get pissed just to see you looking at him. The ladies at the front counter are very disrespectful and show little patience; I thought that it was a one day thing, we all have a bad day every once in a while but after several trips to this place we noticed that they are actually rude and very unprofessional; they scold customers like if they were little kids. A UPS drop off location recently opened close to us; we honestly prefer FedEx but putting up with FedEx employees is not worth it so most of our shipments are being sent to UPS now. I am not even sure if someone will read this message but want to make a point here: we all depend on each other, we need carriers in order to have our business running and the carriers need packages to keep up their own business; also know that if we don't complain corporate will never know. As of today we do not recommend this place, tried to get the employees names and they don't even have a name tag. read more

I had three packages due on Saturday. Tracking said they were delivered, but I did not receive them, so I had to walk around the neighborhood to look for them. They ended up on my next door neighbors porch. How can the driver not see the numbers on my house that are clear and bold! Fedex should be more selective in hiring people. I don't mind if my package is late, but I do mind if its delivered to the wrong address or if its not handled carefully. Sometimes they just drop it over the fence where everyone can see it. Thats a 4-5 foot drop. Or they dont even walk to the door and ring the bell. Its part of your job! Seriously slow down, take your time and deliver correctly. I miss the old days when the carriers cared about the packages they deliver. Treat it as if were your package! Religion needs to return to the people. FedEx for this area is probably one of the worst in all of the territories. The leadership doesn't seem to care. I don't feel like a customer I feel more like a hostage since they give you a delivery status and have you waiting all day just to change it. I have been waiting for 3 days for my delivery and now the status has updated to Monday and WHO KNOWS if they will do the same thing again and have me looking for them all day long for another NO SHOW. If I had a choice of choosing a different carrier at my purchase time I would have since FedEx Gardena can't seem to do their jobs. I certainly hope they treat new customers better than they treat those of us who get weekly packages from them. this is the third time they have lost our payroll by putting it on the wrong routes, diverting it up north, and losing it completely in the last 2 months. When they put it on a truck on Saturday (there is no ground delivery on Saturday), this made it impossible for me to pick it up. It also did not arrive on Monday either, and there is no guarantee it will arrive today. Mind you this left Fresno on Wednesday last week, and usually comes the next day...2 days max. I see a lot of negative reviews and maybe they are warranted for that situation but for me I have never had an issue with this location. I have shipped tons of stuff from here, each time I just take it up to the register, tell them exactly what I want and they do it. Some have added extra tape for me concerned that it may not have been enough, some have offered me an alternative cheaper rate suggestion as well. I thought that was super cool. They really didn't have to do any of that and they could've just hurried and rushed to their next customer but they didn't. I haven't gotten that type of concern from many other places. Horrible delivery Service! Never attempts to use gate code to get into my apartment complex and leaves a door tag everytime and then i end up having to pick it up and then they take forever to deliver it to the FedEx location. The delivery people always lie about "attempting" to deliver packages and once they actually use the gate code to get in they leave the packages out by the apartment complex mailboxes instead of infront of our doors like they're supposed then the packages get stolen everytime. I'm going to keep this short. A package was to be delivered to my daughters for Valentines, chocolate covered strawberries. According to FedEx tracking this package was delivered yesterday morning and left on the porch. Needless to say, no package was found. According to FedEx it was delivered to the address on the package, which had the wrong address. However this address does not exist no where along my street. The lady at the customer service department was absolutely horrible. Went up to her to ask if I could get a few plastic slips to put my labels in and she gives me an attitude saying "there's a line you know" and points to the 10 people in line who are SHIPPING something. I'm not dumb I know I need to get in line in order to ship my product, BUT if she would have just listened to me instead of running her mouth she would know that all she had to do was reach under the counter and grab those slips. Done! I've done this at other locations and they've never made me wait in line to grab the slips. Horrible customer service. I paid a extra $53 dollars to have something express shipped. At 10:15am they (fedex) said they attempted to deliver but no one was at home and left a tag at the door. I called at 11am talked to the first person I said why wouldn't they leave the package no signature was required. She said it is up to the driver if they feel right to leave the package or not. She said she had made a claim and called the terminal and the package would be delivered that day. I called again at 2:30 to make sure it would be delivered. Second person said yes it will. I called at 4:30pm and this last lady told me it would not be delivered that day. And apparently no tag was left at the door like they had originally said because it was a gated community and couldn't get in. And now they would try to redeliver it Monday. It was a perishable. I said don't you work Saturday? Yes but we don't deliver express packages on Saturday. Are you kidding me. After calling 3 times and everyone telling me the same thing now this lady said the truck couldn't get in because it was a gated community? How does UPS get in because I've had them deliver and don't seem to haha a problem getting in or Amazon! Today 08/11/2021 i received a notification from my fedex mobile app saying that an attempt of delivery has made at around 9:30am, which was a lie because i was outside fixing something and i didnt see a fedex truck stopped at our house to try and deliver a package. Then after i received that message another message came through and said that my items were at the fedex facility near my house and i can pick it up at the location and when i got to the location, theyre telling me that the package is not there, so i went on to why it sent me anotification that i can pick up, then i asked for a managaer and a manager came out and said a different thing. I didnt get their names because they're not weraing any name tags. So this manager said oh spectrum just called us and told us not to release the packages to me as the order was cancelled, i said what? So i contacted soectrum and they confirmed that they did not stop any orders and i should be receiving those packages today so i had told spectrum to put a hold of the shipment at the facility so i can pick it up. So i will try again to go to the facility and what they will say about this matter. Such liars. If they're delayed, at least have the courtesy to apologize and try to have other solutions rather than covering up with their mess and something they had done incorrectly. Accept their mistake and find a better solution rather pointing fingers. read more

The woman behind the counter who has short hair and glasses was EXTREMELY RUDE. I did not know packages had to be taped with the shipping label already taped as well. I am a college student and was coming from USPS who had helped me do both. In a rush due to today being the last day to return my books I came into the store as I had a FedEx label. I was given LONG DIRTY LOOKS by this woman when she first said "Next time you need to tape the label on", I apologized as I was unaware. She then told me "did you at least tape the box?" I said "oh no I'm sorry" and she said "well you're going to send it open?" I then replied "well it is secure shut but do you have any tape that I can borrow I'm sorry I didn't know I usually don't send packages out." This woman then responded "Nope. looks like you'll just have to risk it" and handed me my receipt. I am DISGUSTED with the woman's behavior, it was very hard to believe I was getting treated this way. She seems to be miserable with her job and is representing FedEx in a horrible way! If this is who FedEx hires to represent their company I will not be coming back any time soon. The only reason I had gone is because I walked into the USPS store just around the corner who kindly told me they couldn't ship out a package with a FedEx label which I didn't realize I had. FedEx as a whole sucks and this location is a site that exemplifies how bad they suck. Almost 10% or our Dangerous Goods packages come back from this site because whatever MORON that has been trained in DG packaging needs to go back to DG class. Dangerous goods has been made so simple that non-high school graduates could figure it out. This location is continually incorrect on packages they kick out due to what they state as noncompliance with DG regulations. But time and time again, the issue was that DG representative did not completely read the regulations or was probably in such a rush that they missed it. But the only one that gets screwed when that happens is you. I wish there was a number to complain to but calling FedEx is just like making a call to the IRS. Just a bourgeois corporation. Worst delivery service ever! Paid for quick delivery and still waiting. The driver failed to get their lazy butt out to check the number on the building so did not deliver. I got a notice regarding inability to get past security so I call customer service (cs) and explained there is no need to go into complex, just park on the street and walk up to my door. I was assured a note would be added and package will be delivered the next day. No package from FedEx but I did get packages from UPS and US Postal Service delivered to my front door without a problem. I called again, cs says the local office will call within the hour for delivery today. Tick-tock..no such luck. Of course that would be right around the time the office closes. Apology from customer service...doesn't make up for the time wasted waiting ALL DAY, rescheduled appointments because I needed to be home when package arrives. Now I have to go through the big wait again because they cannot guarantee a time of delivery. Never use this service or this particular facility...lousey service! I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on Monday, they never came to the door, left no slip and marked "Delivery exception, customer not available." Tuesday I left the front door open, saw the driver pull up and stop, so I waited there expecting him to come to the door. He sat there so long I took a picture of his truck! He drove away without ever getting out or even looking around, and again marked "Delivery exception, customer not available." I called FedEx, explained what happened, and they assured me the driver would be back that day. He never showed up, so my husband called them again last night and he was assured they would deliver today. I sat here today, AGAIN with the door open, and saw the guy speed by without ever stopping. I checked the tracking site and the driver had once again posted "Delivery exception, customer not available." What is wrong with these people?! My fiance and I were waiting for an overnight package containing our wedding favors to come in on Monday. It never arrived. I checked online and apparently there was a thunderstorm that caused a delay with packages coming from Texas. Ok, I said, bad weather does happen. Come Wednesday, we thought everything was okay and our package would be out for delivery in the morning. We leave the next day, so we had a bunch of errands to run. By 8pm, we still haven't received anything at the front door. I checked online again and come to find out, they couldn't deliver it because they got the wrong address. They were able to correct it, but by the time they did, the driver apparently wasn't in that area. I was fuming when my fiance was calling them. We were trying to see if we could get the night manager to open the door and let us grab our package, but for some reason, he didn't have access to the morning packages. So, we came by at 6am before our trip to see if anyone could help us out. We were so stressed as it was and we needed this package before we left the city.
