FedEx driver (Van # 248289 Plate# 49A SAB) parked in handicap parking at Dollar General on 11151 W. Beaver St. Jacksonville, Florida at approximately 6:24 pm to pick up boxes there. I asked the driver if she was handicapped and she stated "No, the space was the closest to the door." My wife watched her pull into the space, stare at the sign, look around and get out of her FedEx van. The reason I posted this is because after she took the handicap spot, a handicapped customer pulled into the parking lot and had to park across the lot due to the space being occupied by FedEx. These assholes always hold your packages for days before attempting to deliver. I had been waiting on a package for almost two weeks, held up by customs; it was released to FedEx to deliver promptly and they held my package for three days before they delivered. This is a common thing with them. It's happened at least five times previous and I'm fed up. If the businesses that I order from didn't use them as their courier, I would never use FedEx. They are some lazy assholes...I mean at this particular facility. Makes me effin' sick!!! read more

First and foremost...Mike, who is the FedEx guy, was very nice upon delivery of the item about 5:20 this evening (23 May 18). He never received any of the messages and looked right in front of me. I do not blame him, I blame the hub...this hub. And the reason I am writing this review is because this is not the first time I have felt like I've been in FedEx prison in my house. Something can definitely improve... I got home yesterday to find a message on my answering machine stating someone needed to be home to sign for a package tomorrow (that is today, 23 May 18). There was no time for delivery or even who it was from. I called FedEx on the 1-800 line and after piecing it together I "think" it's from an online order from Lowe's. Odd that the order is less than $100 and I have to sign for it, but ok. I mentioned that our FedEx guy normally comes through around 9-10am, but inquired to see if they had a better time...nothing. BUT...again, our FedEx guy normally rolls through our hood about 9-10am. So, as of 7:25am our package has been on the truck for delivery. 9am came and went, 10am came and went...fast forward...3pm came and went. I called...they updated our delivery time to between 11am to...well...before the end of the day. WTH? Oh...so let's think about that for a minute...that's a long time. Especially when sometimes we don't get packages until 8pm! The customer service person tried to reach out to the local station here, but no one answered...so he sent a message. He (Joshua) informed me they'd get back to me within the hour. Good Lord...Have they no empathy for the people waiting around on them? Answer: No. Needless to say, 4pm has came and went. I called again and spoke to Able. Guess what? No one responded to their message, so it was sent again. Just like Joshua, I explained to Able as well that I don't understand why it's taking so long when he normally comes through in the morning. Answer this time: could be a big load...blah, blah, blah...and with ground it can be anytime...huh? It was also explained to me about all the rights the shipper has, etc....ummm...so, the shipper has all these rights to put me in FedEx prison and I don't as the paying customer have any say??? The customer service person said that he knew it didn't make sense, but............{I'm still surprised I kept my cool}! 5pm...I called back and spoke to John. The delivery time has now been updated to between 2-6pm...and he said he didn't know why I wasn't told this. Well...it's because that is a NEW update John! He explained that the earlier driver was the express driver and the other is the ground...that explains a lot. But how am I supposed to know the difference? I tried to tell him what the other people had informed me of from no delivery time, to 11am to whenever, and this was new. Well, he spoke to me like I was crazy. So...listen to your recordings FedEx. Furthermore, John informed me that although the delivery time is between 2-6pm...it could take up to 8pm. Wait...that means I basically have to be home from the wee early hours that it gets on the truck (in my case 7:25am) to 8pm waiting on a package if I have to sign for it? John said I understood perfectly..................AAARRRGGGHHH! This is quite unbelievable. What's even more unbelievable is the lackadaisical attitude of the FedEx folks...like this is normal and I should feel blessed to be in FedEx Prison in my own house waiting around on them ALL DAY. Obviously their robot works fine for telling me I have to be home to sign for a package...so why can't it send out a delivery time or time frame? Better yet, why can't a better delivery time be nailed down instead of making the customer wait around like this? Seriously? Are you that full of yourself that you think it's ok to treat customers like this? I asked what would happen to the package if I wasn't here...after all, my time frame went from non-existent to changes a few times. Life happens and not everyone can be placed in FedEx prison all day. I was informed he'd try 3 times before the package would be sent back. You have no idea how tempting this is after what I went through today. I won't do it again. All the updates and info originate with this hub/location/office...come on...would you want to be treated like this? End Note: Mike brought it to my attention that I could print out a form online, sign it and attach it to my door if I won't be home. I need to look into that if in this position again. Terrible Service cannot get anything done or shipped without angressive workers or attitude.

These guys were already bad before they added Sunday to their delivery schedule now they are the worst! I have been tracking my package and it has been sitting at their terminal eight miles from me for six days now and they can not seem to be able to get it to me, they keep sending me messages saying there has been a delay, really! And this is not the first time, last time they lost my package for two weeks and it was sitting in their terminal the whole time it had never left. Worst yet when you call them their communication back to you is non-existent they never call back with any status. I have started going with UPS it is more but worth it and if a company does not offer them as a carrier I will just have to shop elsewhere, it is just not worth dealing with Fedex. read more

This review is for FedEx in general. I will not choose this carrier EVER. I recently received a pack from a friend that visited US and apparently Fed Ex was not able to bill her CC (probably because of the foreign billing address). Today I received a bill from FedEx telling me that I am responsible for the invoice. This policy is stupid and ridiculous because it's not my fault that I received a pack. they should charge the CC the same time they take the pack in. So, if I want to bankrupt someone I should just send them empty boxes or rocks considering the fact that FedEx takes the packages anyway whether I'm paying for them or not. SHAME ON YOU FEDEX!!!! Yesterday I received a notification from where I ordered some clothing. I was home all day and did NOT receive a package, so I called FedEx and they started a claim. They called me back last evening and said that the driver had left for the day and that they would contact me in the morning after speaking with the driver. I ended up calling them back at 9 am and they told me they delivered the package to Lot 18. I live at lot 83. They told me the shipping label had 2 lot numbers on it so they dropped it at 18. I went to office to see if anyone had turned in my package, they had not. I then rode to lot 18 and left a note on their door as no one was home. Fed Ex also told me when I was on the phone with them that I needed to contact the shipper because the label was listed as such... Lot # 83 18. I called the company they are reshipping the order, which is great, but why is FEDEX not responsible for going to the lot where they delivered it and retrieving my package when it was their error? I have also had my package delivered to lot 10 and lot 10's package delivered to me. I was able to catch the driver that day, and he went back retrieved my package and dropped their package off at the correct address. Do we just constantly have to be available in order to insure the driver's no what they are doing? read more

Well I ordered dry food per this new diet. The company used fed ex as their shipping method. The day that it was on the truck for delivery and scanned that way. I waited all day long. I called that evening to customer support. They told that the package was scanned by ground but should have scanned by home delivery. So in return the package stayed at the facility. I told customer service that I would be happy to pick it up. They said that I would have to hold the package and then it would get delivered next morning at the store. I asked specifically what time the package would arrive? They told me in the morning and they would call me when it gets there. The next morning I called the Atlanta District Office that handles the South East. The manager called the facility and she was told that the package would arrive between 2 and 2:30. I go to the store at 2:15 and the store told me that they don't receive packages until after 6:00 pm. Well I was thinking in my mind that I would have gotten sooner if I just left the package alone and it would have been delivered home service. Of course I decided to complain to Beverly in the corporate office which is located in Memphis Tenn. She told me that the driver would in fact get there after 6pm. I then told her that her distribution facility seems to be very incompetent. Because of this aggrevation, I called the company that I order my dry food from. And from now on there going ship my monthly food via UPS. Please be aware of the Jacksonville Facility Fed ex. They seem to be incompetent as well give false information to there customers. FEDEX delivered my package to the wrong address. When it finally got to me the item was damaged . I ordered a replacement and they lost the shipping label causing the item to show "scheduled delivery pending" for two days straight. After the company I ordered from got in contact with a FEDEX representative, I received a call stating that they had located the package and would be express shipping it at no cost. Also that I would receive a call if they had to update the tracking number. Satisfied with the handling of the issue I decided to take a nap. Well, I woke up from my nap to a cancelled order. I called FEDEX to figure out what had changed because no one bothered to call me and let me know why the package I have been waiting for over a week got cancelled; to which they told me it had nothing to do with them and to call the company I ordered from. So, I called the company I ordered from and they again get in contact with FEDEX to see what was going on. FEDEX then tells them that that item too had been damaged and the could not deliver it. This experience has been frustrating from the beginning and I now don't have the product I ordered and still have to send the defective one back through FEDEX and I hope that they can manage to keep up with this one. read more

This is a complaint for the ship center on salsberry rd in jacksonville fl and for the company in general. Yesterday, I missed a package drop off because it had to be signed...this is my fault. Today I called shipping to ask them if they would give me a call 30 min. Before drop because I had a business to run. They informed me I would get a drop around 12:30 and would get a call 30 min. Prior. I came home an hour earlier and found a drop tag saying we missed you. I called the company and asked them what happend and they just said sorry to me and told me they would set up another drop later that day and would call me in a 2 hour period. I did not get any call again and did not gety package. I called fedex back with case number they provided me earlier. They said the package was already back at the ship center and I can pick it up after 6 pm...not to mention the ship center is an hour away from my home! If you want to keep customer's and I know its the day before thanksgiving...atleast give your customers a call back and let them know your not going to make it! Thanksgiving me the run around!!
