We would like to ignore all of the other stars that the reviewers have given that fedex. We would like to gratitude FedEx ground shipment departments, East Syracuse location primarily. There is an individual named jeff, who works for it FedEx ground, for the last 8 to 10 years that we live in Syracuse New York; and has been so consistent, non-stop, and you just do not see workers in this industry such as him. Rain, sleep, snow, heat or whatever inclement weather, that Jeff got FedEx ground, is an awesome god!! East Syracuse New york, we once live at 418 Borden street Syracuse new york, we now live on Burnet Avenue Eastwood Syracuse new york, and this guy is ultimately a deliverer. I want to say savior but.... That's another thanks. FedEx invest in this guy, truly he deserves it because I believe, or my family and I believe that we are not the only one getting such well and beyond customer service. Door to door, communications, he understands notes, with gratitude him on seasons, he is like the ever-ready battery? My wife said no door so because they last longer? H mm h?? I have a large sign on the steps to my front door stating NO PACKAGES to be left here, use back door only and today a large package was left on the front porch. I could tell it was left there by the fast takeoff the driver made as they were leaving. Not only was my package out for delivery, the guy stopped at the end of my driveway. As I waited for him because it had to be signed he closed the door and drove off and claimed "due to bad weather it couldn't be delivered." It was SUNNY and the roads clear!!! I wish I could choose the company my packages were shipped with because I'd certainly never pick Fedex. Oh and when I called and complain, which took 20 minutes to get an actual person, they said he'd be back to deliver the package in 30 minutes. That was over 2 hours ago. ordered a package for my sons birthday over the weekend it was already pushing it delivery date said 24th his birthday is 24th.. figured okay whatever it'll show up that day... okay that day comes it says something about incorrect address MIND YOU HOW YOU GET CONFUSED OR just being lazy n didn't want to do they job... My package was on the truck in the early morning and did not get delivered until after 9pm at night. Syracuse is less than an hour away. As a senior citizen I don't was packages delivered late night, it is unsafe. Also I live in a secured building and the package was left outside. Overall the delivery service was horrible. It was an item fron Chewy and I canceled future orders from them as a result. I'll stick with Amazon and their professional delivery drivers. read more

Fed Ex has the best ground/ freight shipping service out of all shipping including upsI ship very expensive items every week with no problems whatsoever you can track item once every 8-10hrs updating. Today I took the day off to receive an important shipment that was coming via fed ex. I watched the fedex truck drive by my house, and when I went to track the package, it said "Customer not available". What a lie. I'm disgusted, I called customer service and received the worst service ever. I now have to set more time aside to (hopefully) receive the package tomorrow. The last 3 packages I have had delivered by FedEx were left at the end of my driveway next to a tree. I received notification that it was left at the front door. Totally not, my driveway is 500 foot long. No where near the door. I even received a picture of one of the packages near a tree, not the front door. With in 10 minutes of the first delivery today I called the 800 number and got no where. "We'll put in a claim and contact you with in 24 hours" I just want my packages delivered to where they should be. Same thing happened last year. It just shows laziness of the drivers. I do not know what is wrong with the Syracuse NY branch of FedEx, but they have never delivered a package on time to me. One was a simple envelope, which was supposed to be overnight, and was an important contract which needed to be there overnight. Another was a package I needed for my pets, and when it was delayed for five days, I had to drive over an hour one way to get what they needed. It was coming from Pennsylvania to NY, and FedEx couldn't get it here in five days. Not the company I would want handling my business. You might ask yourself, well, maybe you are too far out of the way, or there were extenuating circumstances, like the weather. During the five days I was waiting for FedEx to deliver a package, I ordered and received two packages delivered by UPS. UPS is reliable. FedEx is not. I ordered a package about 2 weeks ago it was supposed to be here yesterday, but I was patient and it was on the truck for delivery today. we have a gate in our driveway so normally all mailing services leave our package at the gate. I got a text from fedex saying that there was a attempt for delivery but I was not home. they didn't knock on my door or ring the doorbell!! now I have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to get the package because the driver couldn't come ring the doorbell so I knew they were here. After my first delivery was left at the wrong address I decided to contact FedX to ensure proper delivery of my next order. First I emailed customer service for which I received no response. I then phoned customer service and they assured me a note would be added to my delivery. Again my package was delivered to wrong address. I called again and this time I was told the driver will return to deliver package to me. That was 3 hours ago and still no package. I had a package that was on the truck for delivery on Tuesday. Today is Friday 6 pm. Still no delivery. Every day they say the package is on truck for delivery but then tracking inform says no attempt was made to delivery at end of that day. WTF. Same problem last week with another package from a different company. I called that company to get and credit. Looks like I may have to do the same with this one. Someone needs to check into this! I don't know who the driver was today in Marcellus, but she never knocked or rang the door bell. She simply left a door tag, unfilled out, on the front door, along with a box. We assumed the box was unrelated to the door tag, because the door tag usually means that they needed a signature for something. Trying to look up the Door Tag number online yielded no results. The Fedex website kept saying the number was invalid. Finally, after calling, we found out that the door tag was, in fact, in regards to the box that they delivered. But then why leave a blank door tag with it? Why not at least attach the door tag to the box? I don't know if this is due to poor training or lazy employees, but this is unacceptable. read more
