I so wanted to love this place due to the reviews but alas my meal fell short. Let's start with all they did right. Fast easy online ordering, love the choose your time to pick up option! Next the friendly welcome staff was noticeably better than many Chinese take out places we have been. My husband's pork lo mien was moist and flavorful. The egg rolls were crisp and light, tasty filling, and we enjoyed them. Now onto the fried rice which in our opinion very dry and not flavorful. My boneless ribs were very dry and almost like jerky unfortunately. It felt like it was yesterday's leftover then warmed up the next day. This place was one of the better take out Chinese places. The rice was actually like fried rice and not yellow. Generous portions as always. Was ready in 25 minutes and they were very quick and nice at the restraints. The place is big with some seating and they had a table where you picked up and had duck sauce, soy sauce, utensils, napkins, etc. which was nice. Place was very clean too. We love Yummy China! The quality of this Chinese take out is awesome! It always tastes good. The spring rolls are my favorite; made with a hint of ginger. The food was a solid four stars the last time I had it a month ago and this was a definite step down, I got the orange chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll, the egg roll was not crispy and was very soft but at the end of day my hopes were for the orange chicken and the chicken didn't have at least somewhat of a crunch to it it was soft and the chicken came across as very bland and could use some seasoning to help improve the flavor. read more

This is the best Chinese food I have had outside of nyc. We drive a 30 minute to eat their food. Driving back the food is still hot. The wontons in the soup are huge, flavorful. Their house special soup is jam packed with ingredients. We had the Lo main, sesuan chicken, sweet and sour chicken, sezuan shrimp. Just as important is the price. Everything is priced right. The family that runs this business definitely values their customers. The food is delicious not greasy doesn't leave an after taste once you're done eating as I have experienced in other restaurants. Good Chinese is hard to find in Syracuse. Often it tastes old and has no distinctive flavor except maybe of soy sauce. Yummy China lives up to it's name--YUMMY! My husband and I got take-out lunch specials (entree, choice of rice and side of egg roll or soda). My chicken and broccoli with white rice was delicious. The chicken was tender and the broccoli still had a bite to it. The white rice was not at all dry. And the best part, the egg roll, wasn't greasy. I come here often and not sure why I have not had 100 check ins or a review. This is one of my favorites in the area. It is also close by. I order mostly chicken and rice dishes from here. My daughter loves the lo mein. The food is always delicious and cooked great. The fried rice is softer and fluffier than other places. I like the rice cooked like this. My first visit to this Chinese take out joint left me with a poor impression. I am not surprised that a take out Chinese place is not a place to be expected to be pampered. I parked, walked in, and placed my take out order. The service was very pleasant and I decided to sit at a table and wait for my order. I reached for a chair and saw a filthy and obviously unclean chair. I continued and dared to touch the chair and my worst suspicions were confirmed: there was a sticky coating of God knows what on the chairs. Too late, I had already paid for my food. It doesn't get better.... I ordered beef chow mei fun and fried dumplings. The dumplings were quite small and were overwhelmingly salty and almost inedible. The beef chow mei fun, firstly, was missing a lot of beef. A few token pieces were present. It was basically a large serving of noodles, a few slivers of vegetables, less than 2 ounces of beef and was very dry. While I would like to return and explore different dishes, the combination of unclean chairs and tables along with truly atrocious food, causes me to swiftly eliminate the very idea of returning. For all the places in cicero/clay area this place is best one I have seen. I have only eaten here for lunch and have only gotten the lunch specials. Now the lunch specials are a bargain. For about 6 bucks you get the combo and your choice of either egg roll/soup/OR drink. I feel like you can't beat the price. I chose from 4 different dishes for the family. I got the chicken with garlic, general tsao, pepper steak and some tofu dish. I would have to say that the pepper steak was the best out of the 4. Our order took no longer than 10 minutes and was given a card where if you buy so many meals, you get the last one for free. I have never seen this card at any chinese places... mostly at local coffee places. Service was friendly and quick. Parking was easy. I did not eat in as this is more a take out place. read more

We have had a couple meals here and I settled on 3 stars because I rate their dishes differently. If I was only rating their dumplings it would be 4 stars. I could eat just a bowl of them! Last time we had lo mein and general tso's chicken and I would give them a 2.5-3. The chicken was so perfectly shaped it seemed fake. I'd prefer bigger, more juicy pieces of chicken. Their free tea is hot and delicious! I LOVED their Hot and Sour soup and I am picky. Chicken and garlic sauce was delicious (there was more veggies than chicken)! My kids loved the sesame chicken, but it was very small pieces like popcorn chicken. Be careful with a peanut allergy - there is peanut butter in the egg rolls.
