Zero stars would be more appropriate. I've watched my packages ride on the truck for 4 days with "no delivery attempt made" day after day. I work from home and have been here everyday. Multiple issues with this place. Corporate can't even seem to get in contact with this hub to handle issues. Will get numerous notifications that something will be delivered and then it will end up being delayed. Out the next day for delivery and delayed, delayed, and delayed again. They have even switched a delivery to "signature required" just so they could put they couldn't deliver it. Now, whenever we see a delivery is coming with fedex we know it will be AT LEAST a week of back and forth with automated robots, constant BS if you even reach a human, and numerous headaches. Once you finally reach a real person on the automated call, immediately ask for the highest resolution supervisor or you will just go in circles for hours, probably still will. Extremely disgusted and dissatisfied with this location. For some reason my packages never make it to my address. 1-2 days before delivery I get an exception notice with no update. My last package was at the facility from December 28 until Feb 8th when they sent it back. I was told by staff that it's 'typically up to the driver on whether they want to attempt delivery or not." Can you believe this? Imagine if I go to work and only care for the patients I 'felt like' This is disgusting customer service and tired of paying for express shipping in hopes of receiving my package to never get it. This business must be operated by morons. I waited all day for important legal papers to be delivered by 10:30 AM, but no delivery! Why? The address was 100% correct. The location is a small business. The package was addressed to me personally. Obviously, the driver made NO attempt whatsoever to deliver the package! IMHO, the driver is either a lazy azwipe or a maroon. I guess that since they can't be bothered to even attempt to deliver an overnight letter to my address, in the future, I won't bother to call them or to use them! Part 2: So, last week, FEDEX couldn't be bothered to deliver an overnight package with critical legal papers to me at a VALID STREET ADDRESS! Too hard to figure out apparently, so the driver just claimed that it was an invalid address and dumped the package back at their Pineville location. And then FEDEX told me my choice was to come pick it up in Pineville, or perhaps their same driver could try to figure it out tomorrow. Let's see: he couldn't figure it out today, - what are the odds he might figure it out the next day? No thanks,- I went and picked it up. So, when I picked it up, the clerk in Pineville told me that they obviously couldn't figure it out BECAUSE the package was addressed to me PERSONALLY at the address. When I asked her if FEDEX delivers to the names of businesses, or to valid street addresses, she ignored me, and ran back behind her big metal door. The next week, more important legal papers were sent to me at the same address, but this time, I made certain that they addressed the package to the named business and again at the valid address. And just like clockwork, by 10:30 AM when the package was due to be delivered, the driver AGAIN changed the package status to undeliverable due to a wrong address. Nice job once again FEDEX! I guess that that you can't deliver to valid street addresses OR named businesses that have been receiving FEDEX packages for the last 20 years or so... Face it FEDEX: you suck at your job! Epilogue: I called FEDEX; eventually got through to a human person, who eventually put me in touch with the same woman at the Pineville location, and who was not happy to hear from me,- again. I told her she needed to do her job, and deliver that package to my business as they had been paid to do. Imagine that, but about 2 hours overdue, the driver showed up with my package. Suffice it to say that going forward, FEDEX will NOT be my preferred overnight carrier. Ugh! read more

Its truly amazing that FedEx doesn't step in a start over with this particular branch. The most recent of many, many, many horrible experiences has lasted 2 weeks so far, ranging from package was delivered (NOT), To a delay, to wrong address (i verified 3 times with fedex that address was correct), to it is being returned to sender, now back to delayed, which is a gross understatement! I had to post a sign for them to not put packages on my car that i just restored after coming come and finding a 60lb dog food bag on the hood, one week after i painted it! I'm sorry FedEx, but a monkey can track packages better than you guys. I had a horrific time with a package sent to my mom's house while she was in the hospital. The packaged required a signature, so on the 2nd failed delivery I called the 800 number listed on the door tag and the lady that answered helped me arrange a time to pick it up at the convenient Sardis Rd N. Location which is pretty close to my house. She said someone will contact me (gave my cell phone number) when it arrives. A couple hours later, some other lady calls me - practically shouting on the phone and said my package would be available at 10am on Tuesday.... mind you this phone call was received at 4pm ON TUESDAY. So I asked if she meant Wednesday... and she said, yes. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because of the Labor Day holiday throwing everything off a day. I wish that was the end of my sad tale. Tuesday rolls around and I got to the FedEx on Sardis, late at night to make sure there was enough buffer time for it to get there. Apparently the buffer time FedEx needed was another day since the package was no where to be found and the notes that were supposedly noted on the tracking tag were to keep attempting to deliver as if my phone call never happened the previous day. Ok- things happen... It will be ready on Wednesday... I just have to wait for a call. Great. No call Wednesday.... just another door tag left with the "Final Attempt" box checked. Thursday I took the initiative and called the 800 number again. The funny thing is that I inputted the door tag number in the automated phone call and the machine said the package was still "on truck for delivery" and when I spoke to the operator, I got the same regurgitated message except the package was going to be at the Eagleton Downs operating center in Pineville for pickup!!!! I was already super frustrated at this point, so I told the guy to hold the package there and I will drive and get it. After a nice 40min drive from Matthews, I got out of my car thinking, "this is it... finally". When the service rep checked my door tag, she said the package was not there..... I put my head down and took one deep breath to keep my head from exploding onto the walls.... I explained all the phone calls already and I drove across town for a package that someone assured me would be here. She proceeded to get someone else in the back room to help her. As if the situation could not get any worse, she comes back a couple minutes later with a gentleman that was going to help her. By then there was already a line forming for more package pickups... and when he asked her who the Door Tag belonged to, she waved her hand in the air in my direction and said, "The short guy over there"......... !!!*#***##!!!!! OK - not only can you not track packages, but you are going insult me on top of it all. I just roll with it... because at this point I wanted to break out some sort of semi automatic weapon and go to town, but my judgement prevailed. The supervisor was very nice and understanding - he probably saw the shock on my face after being called out as "the short man". Anyways, the package was at Sardis and someone had failed to scan it in......... [insert expletive here] I drove all the way over to the other location (another 40min) and picked it up. I am at the point where I may have to ask sellers how they ship and not purchase from them if they use FEDEX. This is my local HUB where my FedEx packages come from and without fail they deliver my packages to the wrong address every time. I don't like to use Yelp to complain, but in my experience FedEx in Charlotte seems to be the delivery system that wants to make you come on in to their location. I do not understand how their policy appears to be that even though a signature is not required, if a person is not home or at their office, they are not going to deliver it without a signature. What is the point of overnight delivery. I can't get anything delivered if they want to show up before I'm open or just after I've left my house. Amazing how they can't leave a flat document at the door without an unnecessary signature. I just think there needs to be a better system with the local FedEx folks. I have no challenges with other carriers. I just want documents to be delivered and not have to drive all the way over to Pineville after 5PM to get what should have been delivered by 10AM without signature requirement. HORRIBLE! The tracking for my package stated it would be delivered Friday 10/12 by end of day. It never came. When I called they stated the apartment number was not placed on the package so it went back. Lies. I checked my order and it had my full address listed...so how would that change? Then when I called the 1-800 fedex number and asked if I could just go up there to pick up Friday night or Saturday morning, I was told that the truck driver does not go back to the delivery station and that was impossible. So you're telling me he takes the truck and packages home every night?!?! That's a problem!! I was told by two different people on Friday night that I would receive a phone call within an hour or two....NEVER HAPPENED! Then I was told I wouldn't get my package til Saturday. To be home 8-8 and it would be delivered, definitely. Guess what?! IT NEVER CAME!!! Around 7pm I checked my tracking and it now said no delivery date. WHAT?! So I called again and asked the rep to transfer me to the delivery station in my area instead of placing me on hold for him to speak to them. Javier from Ft Mill told me to give them more time that my package would arrive between 10-11pm tonight! Really?! The reps all told me that delivery does not occur after 8pm. Javier stated my package would definitely be here by 10-11pm tonight. IT IS SATURDAY 10/13 AT 10:37 and my package is not here!! I called the 1-800 line for the 5th or 6th time and asked to speak with management, because I knew from the moment he told me to give him more time that they wouldn't deliver on a Saturday night at 10-11pm. Jose told me he didn't think delivery would happen because they close at 9pm. SO AGAIN....I WAS LIED TO!!!! I WILL NEVER USE FEDEX SERVICES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! It's hard to give this place a decent rating, since, as John said, you never WANT to come here. Why the heck does FedEx always come at 11 AM, anyways? I'd expect them to run after the majority of people are home from work and/or school. However, for the purpose of this review, I am forcing myself to consider only the people who actually work at this location, not the entire company. Second lost package in two weeks. The first time they claimed they couldn't deliver to an apartment. (Which I don't live in an apartment) so after I called and complained they redelivered the package to the wrong address and I found it after calling the cops to file a police report. It was delivered across the street. The customer service I received this week was horrible. I ordered a new phone from Verizon, and it was scheduled to deliver on Tuesday. A signature was required, so I went online and completed the steps to submit and indirect signature. The driver delivered on Monday (a day earlier than planned) and did not leave the package on my porch despite my signature being processed (I received an email confirmation that it was successful). I called and was told the package would arrive Tuesday, but that my signature did not process, so I would need to be home to accept the package. I waited all afternoon and it never came. I called again and was told it would arrive Wednesday and that my signature actually was on file, so I did not need to be home. The driver delivered while I was at a do for appointment, and once again, did not leave the package due to "needing a signature." I called yet again and was told that due to the driver making a mistake, he would be instructed to r--deliver to my address before 7pm. At 6:50, I called to check the status and was told the driver did not have time to make it back to me and that I would need to pick the package up myself before 8:30pm at the Pineville location. I tried to pick up in person, and was told by a representative that I could not pick up the package because it had not been released for pickup by the carrier, even though she confirmed that she had a note saying I had been told to pick it up. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and was told customer service volumes were high and that one was not available to speak with me. She said the driver would re-attempt to deliver to me on Friday, that there was no guarantee. I am still waiting to hear back from a supervisor. read more

Well just like some of the other complaints below about FedEx, they lied to me about their attempted delivery. I was expecting an important package on Friday the 26th and had received two test messages saying that my package would be delivered to my home address between 8am to 8 pm. Well I wasted my whole day waiting for my package to be delivered. My wife had the front door opened all day so we could see the FedEx truck and driver and nothing all day. Then about 4:20pm I received a new text saying that an attempt was made but couldn't be delivered. Funny thing if they attempted they didn't even leave a door tag. Some attempt! More like they didn't even come by and just took the package back to their distribution center in order to avoid afternoon rush hour traffic. If this is how they train their drivers maybe it would be better if they would deliver the packages to neighborhood FedEx shops and customers could go locally to pick them up there instead of the central distribution center. Worse of all is the lying on the part of the driver via text that an attempt was made to deliver the package and if they don't believe me I have security camera footage that says they didn't even drive by my address. This Fedex has lost 2 packages of mine! The driver definitely doesn't match the package address to the address that he/she delivers to when it comes to my packages. I have been waiting for a package for over a week now. They will come by to the house, and not even ring the doorbell, just assume you aren't home. I am highly disappointed in fedex and especially in this location. I tried to go to the location on Friday to find out they close at 8:30pm not 9:00 like it was stated on their website. Fail. FedEx is the worst. Package was supposed to arrive on 12/23 (paid for expedited shipping) but we didn't receive it until 12/27. To make matters worse, we had to go pick it up! FedEx's tracking system said that the package was delivered on 12/23 but there was no indication that delivery was attempted. Next thing we know, there is a missed delivery door tag on 12/26 stating that it was the last attempt! WTF. This is strike 2 this year for FedEx. First they completely lost a package and now this... I moved into a new home two months ago and it is not on the map yet so I would expect a call the first time I got a delivery here. I received a door tag saying my package could be picked up after 4pm (on the ground in front of the door). So I drove 20 miles round trip to the location. When I arrived, I waited about 8 to 10 minutes. 2 people saw me and said hi, but nothing else. I listened to a conversation around the corner talking about various non work related things. I coughed a few times and finally one rounded the corner and said the bell must not have gone off (I heard it) Then they couldn't find my package, and discovered the driver "forgot" to take it off the truck and it was sent back as rejected. I'd suggest going online and holding your package at a nearby FedEx facility you can trust if you can't be home to pick it up. Horrible. For the second out of three Saturday's FedEx claims to have attempted to deliver our time sensitive package and says we're closed. But I've been at my location since 7:30 AM and not once have I seen a FedEx truck, hear any of our two doorbells go off, hear a knock at any door, or see a door tag (which FedEx claims to have left). I don't know who the driver is, but he or she is apparently lazy enough to assume that we're closed even though our boxes are marked for Saturday delivery. What's even better is that FedEx has the audacity to tell us to come pick it up when they screwed up TWICE. We never have these issues with UPS, so it makes me think twice about using them. If the supervisor at this ship center is reading this, re-evaluate who you use as a driver, because we're much closer to switching off of FedEx completely than we were a couple of weeks ago. Incredible how unreliable and inexcusable FedEx is at the Pineville Station in Charlotte, NC. Package #1 was not delivered to my home because my address was not on their NAV. Really? Amazing how everyone else can find my home! They call me for directions and the package comes a day late. Package number two is supposed to be delivered the next day. At 5:00pm there is no package. Look on the website and it says that there is no delivery date. I call 1-800-GO-FEDEX. They say that they attempted to deliver the package today but the business was closed. Well, this is a RESIDENCE and I have been sitting here in my residence ALL DAY! TWO LIES! Next, they say they will deliver on Monday. I won't be here on Monday! I ask to speak with the person in the Pineville Station to assist with the delivery and the person in the Pineville Station tells the rep on the 800-GO-FEDEX line that they "refuse to speak with me." Can you believe this? I am trying to help with the delivery and they REFUSE TO SPEAK WITH ME?????? What kind of "service" is this? I am reading through all the other comments in Yelp and I am in awe of how FedEx allows such uncaring and unhelpful people to represent them.
