I also have found that the customer service here is not that great unless you are a friend of one of the workers. Needing treats with calming capabilities and a few other items, I drive to Petco. The 12 minute ride from Hood River was gorgeous, you leave a more lush and green area and end up in the dessert, with a completely different type of beauty. The Petco was exactly like all other locations and had everything I needed. Even picked up a new litter box mat by their brand, SoPhresh, that is the best mat I have ever purchased. It literally does what is intended, it tracks the litter preventing it from going everywhere. Service was great. Cashier friendly. Easy access off I-84. Plenty of parking out front. Near other stores - Staples, Walgreens, Safeway, Fred Meyers, Starbucks, Bargain Market - making the drive completely worth it and convenient.
