Working from home, I got tired of looking at my four walls. Found this cafe on Yelp Collections and thought it looked like a good change of scenery. Ordering is done using either the QR barcode or paper menus. They have a large selection of lattes, juices and refreshers. I ordered The Goldie. This latte is a blend of turmeric, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon. I know it seems like a lot but it was delicious! With a shot of espresso, it was the perfect blend. The cafe has soft music in the background and staff are pleasant. There is free parking around the cafe. It was a great choice to spend a few hours working outside of home. read more

Cute little coffee shop found next to a Cuban bakery. That is very popular in the area called Craigs. The vibe is relaxing and a great way to start your morning today. Cute little place for tea/coffee. Staff are friendly and prices are decent, however, the chai I ordered didn't really taste like anything. The seating is also horribly stiff and uncomfortable. Unrelated to the establishment, if you're not used to the area, the main road nearby is under a lot of construction, so actually getting to shop was a nightmare. First and foremost, The varieties of different coffees is amazing. You get to choose very creative lattes, with unique ingredients. I went with the Goldie Latte and it was delicious. Came here because it was such an aesthetic coffee shop, probably the cutest one in the area. The atmosphere is super calm and light and very perfect for a little treat or insta post. We got the salmon avocado toast and a turkey sandwich. I love the different seasonal flavors, I ended up getting the rose which is with beetroot. I regret getting it iced, I wish I would've gotten it hot so that I could taste the syrups and flavors more prominently. They easily could've just made new bread and put the stuff on it and not give me toast they are fully aware is burnt. The lavender was good, not too sweet, however, i'm not sure if i like the whole pieces of lavender in the drink (personal preference). The staff were super friendly and the entire restaurant was very clean. This is the perfect place to do work, catch up with friends, or have a nice lunch. This hidden gem is tucked away off 136th and Okeechobee just outside Miami Lakes, and it's one of the cutest coffee shops I've been to! The space has a lovely driftwood tropical vibe, and the ladies who run the shop are very sweet and were helpful in helping me select what to try. I had a Vanilla Iced Latte and Pistachio Croissant, both of which were delicious! The latte was especially good, and had an excellent balance of milk, espresso, and vanilla syrup - I usually find places like Starbucks put too much or too little of some ingredients, so this was just right. I had plans the day I visited so I couldn't stay too long, but next time I will be sure to carve out some time to hang out and enjoy the space more. read more

I heard about Feel Good Coffee Lounge through the "HialeahLove" insta page, and had the chance to check it our for lunch. I mean, I remember this area from Urban Exploration days when the only food was medianoche sandwiches from food truck. Needless to say the prices are a little higher than back in the day to match the quality and flavor. Besides a cup of black drip coffee to thaw out from a meeting, I ordered their prosciutto & mozzarella with fresh tomatoes on a lightly toasted panini flat bread and garnished with sweet balsamic. A dash of sea salt potato chips came with the order. Their classic acai bowl with strawberries, bananas and raspberries sated my sweet tooth. Although it's located in the warehouse district, the inside transports you ever briefly to Wynwood or West Avenue with lots of white and a wall for gram photos. The cashier attending me was helpful with recommendations, and the vibe is great for a nicer workday lunch. I believe they also have a weekend brunch I'd make the drive up Okeechobee for. read more

They checked in with us multiple times as we were enjoying our food. The beef empanada was delicious! The filling was flavorful and juicy, with a flaky and crispy outside. It was a deceptively high rating that brought us in from the highway. Pros- Avocado toast tasted good Cons- I wanted to order a coffee with heavy whipping cream. I know more all coffee shops have heavy cream, but most good ones do. The barista looked at me confused and said there was creamer at the self serve station, also no coffee but they could do an Americano. After looking at the area where she pointed and not finding any kind of cream I was told to look in the basket. There were plastic packets of Coffee Mate brand creamer, my other option was milk. -My husband offered to drink my Americano black so I could get a latte instead. I did, but it wasn't great, it had an anise or black licorice taste to it. -The espresso tasted okay, not great, but okay. -The vibe was not "feel good". The baristas might have been new (there were at least 4 behind the counter) and seemed more interested in talking to each other than customers. Whatever the vibe was it was not welcoming or friendly. -The location and parking lot were difficult to get to and back out of to the highway. read more

The salmon avocado toast fresh light and delicious as well. Wafles were light and enjoyed with some strawberries you have a list of different toppings you can add and syrups or honey.
