The therapists I have had have all been wonderful and I feel like a new person after every visit! Emma is especially good if you need a deep tissue massage! The massage was decent but not very well done compared to other experiences. Associates and other people who work there are extremely rude and impatient. The do not like female clients, especially the female workers. They feel it is beneath them to work on the feet of women. This spa is tucked away in a shopping center and it's worth the search!! The owner, Irene, is a lovely lady who always has a smile. I have been a customer here for about 2 years and this is my GO TO place. My two favourite therapists are Jason and Jack. I have tried a few other therapists, they are all great really! I usually get the 30 min foot massage followed by an 1 hour body massage for $70. Jason and Jack have both given me these treatments and WOW! Both are strong all the way thru the massages with never losing their intentions to work the muscles to complete relaxation. I have been here many times. Over the last several months it has gone from ok to just plain bad. I call ahead and confirmed I would be there at 7:05. I arrived promptly because that is considerate. Then I waited and waited. I waited 20 minutes and then they said they girl wasn't finished yet. This is while two people were sitting at the front desk talking. I have never had a foot massage before, but I wanted to try it, as my legs and feet get so tired from teaching. I don't really like a "gentle massage", I would rather have a stronger massage to get the blood really flowing. The gentleman that I had here was quite good, he really gave my feet and legs a nice massage. I'm pregnant and have been experiencing painful swelling in my feet for the last few days. I went in because this place is near the Publix where I shop and they stay open until 10 pm. I went in and was seated immediately for a foot massage. The guy I had did an excellent job on my foot massage. He also did a pretty great scalp and neck massage (which I was not expecting). Although the guy who did my massage did not speak English, he gave every effort to ask me if I was okay through the massage and if the pressure was too hard. AVOID. Waste of time and money. I stopped by after work on Friday to get one hour foot massage. I was led to a chair and they brought in a tub of lukewarm water (which I thought was kinda GROSS) to soak my feet. I wait there for literally 20 min with my feet soaked in a batch of lukewarm water. A middle aged man comes in leaking of cigarette, starts foot massage. But there is absolutely no pressure. The guy was just rubbing my feet with no spirit. I asked: "could you please apply more pressure?" He dashes out of the room like he's irritated or something. A lady comes in and says "his hands hurt so he cannot apply any more pressure" Uh what? Why is he massaging in the first place then?? But their attitude was nowhere near being apologetic and acted like that's how it's supposed to be that somehow I didn't appeal and submitted myself. So he "rubs" my feet for 30 minutes and I'm thinking "i wanna go home" I told him "I'm gonna wrap it up" and he again dashes out of the room irritated. I come to the cashier paid for "one hour" service but here's next part: I didn't leave any tip because I was genuinely pissed by their service, attitude, and most of all, getting no massage. Seeing that I was about to leave with no tip, the guy yells sir! And taps the receipt yelling "TIP! TIP!" I didn't even want to explain so I said "tip for what?" He couldn't answer and again went "TIP! TIP!" I just stood there. He started to curse at me in Chinese. I left. I want them to know that if they want to take advantage of American culture of giving tips, then they better raise quality of their service to American level. Anyway. Poor service. The customer service is not great at all! I paid for an hour massage for me and my mom and they gave us a massage 20 minutes short of the time they communicated with us. They also bruised the top of my mom's toe. Lastly, I'm allergic to cigarettes and the guy that did my massage reeked of cigarettes. Needless to say it wasn't the best experience. I only tipped 10% because I wasn't satisfied with my service and the lady at the front desk preceded to tell me I need to tip more in front of everyone in the building. I thought tip was something you gave to reflect the service not mandatory. I was so unhappy with my service I didn't want to tip at all, but tipped 10% just because I felt bad not leaving anything. What an experience, i was in the area going to Publix and i saw the sign for Feet press massage. Funny name i thought. I had been working all day moving stuff and it was until next month before i had another massage from Massage Envy. I decided to try this place because i never get my feet done exclusively from them. I went in and the atmosphere is dark and relaxing. Broken English from the girl but who cares, she was very pleasant and asked me what i wanted to have done. She proceed to suggest a foot and neck rub and offered me a 15% discount because they were just opening. OK, all i can say is i fell asleep in the chair it was so relaxing. I think like any massage that YOU need to tell the masseuse if the pressure is to little or too much. GREAT experience! Will defiantly be back again. Hope the discount lasts for a while longer.
