Patricia at the front desk was warm and welcoming. Soon after paperwork, my dentist/hygienist Misty took me in for X-rays and then started cleaning. She was diligent, gentle and thorough. Dr.Rassam came in after cleaning, checked my teeth and X-rays and gave his diagnosis. What I loved about my visit was that there was not pushing to do deep cleaning or extra deep cleaning or any other unnecessary treatments for that matter. Thank you Misty for excellent work. They have a private parking lot which had plenty of spots. The lobby was very clean and spacious. Check in was very easy and pleasant. I didn't have to wait long to be called in. I have extreme anxiety related to dental procedures including cleanings due to sensitive gums. Unfortunately, I didn't have a pleasant first time experience with the hygienist that day & even felt ashamed by her remarks. I wish there was more caring bedside manners especially coming in as a new patient & informing her of personal struggles but I decided to come back for a second appointment to fix other dental issues. The assistant that day was very kind and even noticed when I would tense up. She immediately reassured me and encouraged me to relax as best as I can. It was so helpful and I truly appreciated it. Dr. Metwali was informative, answered questions without rushing, and made the procedures go smoothly. I didn't have any post procedures issues besides the expected soreness from local injections. I plan on continuing as a patient but will better advocate for myself.

The dentists here are always matter of fact and bluntly tell you the truth. I appreciate their honesty and helpful recommendations and thankful they don't give me the run around (like every other dentist I've been to prior to coming here). They don't push me into treatments (that are usually costly) but give me all the options clearly and factually. I've had cleanings, x-rays, and fillings done here and every experience has been pleasant and efficient. For cleanings, the dental hygients are always extremely thorough, friendly, and full of recommendations. My appointments are always honored on time and the parking lot has plenty of spots available. This is the first dental practice I don't mind coming to (and I've been to many in my 40 years of life living in different cities).

Keep in mind I am not having any dental issues or pain just needed a regular cleaning. The hygienist put on a show for a full hour, taking so many xrays, and chatting away. Then she called the doctor to come and look at my Xray images. The doctor was Dr. Amy Milman. Honestly not sure how she became a dentist when she can't tell what's on the Xray images. She used words such as "it may be a cavity or not." The most surprising thing she proceeded to say was "we'll talk about removing all 4 wisdom teeth." I immediately said "we are not removing ANYTHING! Seriously? This place is out for your money and obviously the doctor is working off commission. When I said we weren't removing ANYTHING she said ok, ok we won't. What a joke with these people! So she then leaves and the hygienist takes off my bib, yup that was it, no teeth cleaning for me. I told her I am not done, I haven't had my cleaning done, her answer- we will only perform a deep cleaning and you have to schedule that in advance. Correction- I did schedule a cleaning but they don't want $200 they want thousands for a deep clean. Stay away!

Unfortunately, those warnings turned out to be absolutely right. For the past three years, Dr. Gray's office has consistently overcharged for routine procedures and added unnecessary services that insurance wouldn't cover--fluoride treatments for $50+, excessive x-rays, and more. Before the transition, I was never charged beyond my insurance coverage for standard bi-annual cleanings, but that changed immediately under Dr. Gray's practice. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because my hygienist, Sandy, and Dr. Newman were still there. Both were professional, honest, and trustworthy--but they've now left the practice, which speaks volumes. On my last visit in February 2025, I was pressured to get additional x-rays despite recently having a panoramic x-ray (only needed every five years) and two sets of bitewings due to a recent root canal. When I questioned this, I was falsely told that I hadn't had x-rays since 2022. When I declined and explained I was only there for a routine cleaning, they claimed the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners wouldn't allow them to proceed without x-rays--an outright lie. Under Dr. O'Keefe, I was never forced into unnecessary x-rays. Frustrated by the dishonesty, I canceled my appointment and left. I was already fed up with the overcharging and deceptive practices, but what ultimately compelled me to write this review was discovering that they had the audacity to resubmit billing for my August 2024 root canal--despite the fact that I received no treatment that day. Thankfully, my insurance company caught the duplicate charge, making me question how often they've billed for services never rendered. On top of all this, the turnover in staff is alarming. Longtime employees have left, and the new front desk staff lacks professionalism. Daisy, who handles payments, is especially rude. I strongly urge you to avoid this dental office. The deceptive billing practices, unnecessary procedures, and lack of integrity make it clear that this office prioritizes profit over patient care. Stay far away!
