For context: we used All in the Family Services in October 2022. They were friendly and we were…read morequoted about where other people were quoting us. I believe they have a few photos up of our fencing as well. I reached out to Dave to fix some issues I've noticed for months via Houzz where we originally contracted them (said I would need an estimate and pay), and haven't heard back. Ended up finding a phone number off of an old quote and have been in contact with them for almost 2 months with very slow replies, having to send follow ups, now trying to figure out a repair. Issues include: tension cable fencing has now become loose, one cable even completely came out of the fencing, the wooden beams they used are SPLITTING where the cables are connecting because they were over-tightened. Multiple contractors have come out to give me quotes to fix this and they all said I need new cable and beams (upwards towards $600) or a complete new fence unless I want them to completely split or crack further over the next year or so. It has been 2.5 years... and now I'm looking into ways to fix a fence I spent $7k on (total project including the deck was $26k). There's just no way you should be spending that kind of money just to have to fix it in 2 years. Over multiple emails they were stating they'd come out and fix it for $250, and that they can't verify if it was normal wear and tear or an animal that caused it (sagging tension cables are at the top.. no animal caused that). After another week or two they took back that offer and said they'd give me a $250 refund but I'd have to agree to "release them from any claim of fence repair and understand that further work required to said fence is normal maintenance". I denied it. Some other issues I put aside because I just wanted the project done: had to have them come back out to secure my electrical box that was left hanging off, I had to pay extra for a gate latch because they were trying to drill a hole for it but I knew the gate would settle and no longer align with it in the future but kept it there, and I had to reinforce some of the tension cables because they could be moved up and down about 1 inch in each direction. Upon further conversation with my latest contractor, most companies don't do tension cable through wooden posts because they know with their experience that they only last a few years. Tension cables should apparently go through metal posts to keep their integrity. I wish I had known, or used a company with enough experience to know that. It seems All in the Family Services can do projects you request them of, but be sure to do your own research and understand what will last and what won't because they sure don't. My deck they did is great, but I'm now looking at redoing my entire fence to because this one won't last much longer. Look elsewhere for your projects and don't go with this company just because they are slightly more affordable.. you'll be paying for it in the future :/ Photos attached.

Please don't hire this company. They have been illegally dumping their construction waste on our…read moreprivate land. Sinks, old carpet, toilets, couches, construction debris, work orders and invoices with their clients personal information as well as internal accounts receivable reports (also with personal client information), and bank teller receipts were found in this debris. We contacted Noah Mrowczynski on multiple occasions to clean up this mess without involving the police or other authorities. He failed to clean up the entire mess, only agreeing to remove one truck load, when it's obvious there have been multiple trips made out to our property by his company. He stated to us multiple times that this is not his problem and blaming it on subcontractors. Hard to believe sub contractors would have your personal business records. He let us know he was doing us a favor by even sending out one of his trucks to remove his mess. I never asked for him to trespass on my land and to perform illegal activities in the first place. We have filed reports with Clackamas County Sheriffs, DEQ, and Oregon Contractors Construction Board. I can only hope this helps deter him from continuing his illegal activity, dumping on anyone else's land, trespassing and violating his customers rights. Please be wary of this company and his junk removal company operating under Cascade Junk Removal.

It took Frank and Manny 4 days to complete the project as estimated, and they did and OUTSTANDING job! We're happy, the neighbors are happy...at least the ones we talk to, and all the animals are happy. Seriously, it looks amazing and makes our backyard look like a million bucks. Moreover, I'm proud to give work to a business owned by a fellow Army veteran. We will be calling Noah and his crew again in the near future for some covered patio and deck work.

I hired this company to install security fencing at a distressed commercial building that had a…read morelong history of difficulty with trespassers and other miscreants. The office staff was professional and highly communicative. The installation staff was exceptional, especially relative to minimizing the maximum number of panels, thus saving some costs, and also relative to engineering the most efficacious/discouraging installation. They listend to my needs and met them. The fencing was top grade, sturdy and intimidatingly high. Their lease was simple yet complete, very fair and business like. As a former attorney I appreciated this. Their entry term, 3 months, with a month to month renewal thereafter, was accommodative to my needs. They only accepted credit card payments, when I originally preferred ACH payments, but no big a deal. The building was placed in receivership and the receiver failed (negligently) to assume the lease after the initial term, and I wasn't going to cover his responsibilities, so, after four months of service the lease was not renewed and the fencing was un-installed. There was a minor issue of damage to one panel and the office staff settled the bill consistent with their other operations. I would recommend.

Terrible experience with Ben's Garage & Gates…read more Installer screwed the garage door opener into the sheetrock of the ceiling, instead of the ceiling joists. A few weeks later the opener fell off the ceiling and crashed onto my car, causing damage that will cost over $4,000 to repair. Despite vague promises on two occasions to pay the cost of the repair, no follow up. Now they take the position that I "accepted" the work and they are not responsible for the damage and will not even refund any of the purchase price. They claim to be bonded and insured, but I checked with the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board for a bond and found no registration for Ben's Garage & Gates. There was a registration for Abraham Bar Lyani, the apparent owner of Ben's, but it was suspended according to CCB because "insurance not on file."

I hired this company to put in a new aggregate driveway and new sloped step off the driveway. I…read moreliked working with Dan and he took care of the details with my homeowner's association and brought on a team to do the project. Two days after the driveway was poured, the forms were removed while I was away. I came home to find that the workers had washed too much concrete away from the aggregate pebbles on the sloped step, and several corners in the seams had rocks missing on the driveway. I immediately contacted Dan and he sent his sub contractor over to see what happened. At the subcontractor's expense, he dug up the new sloped step and re-poured the whole thing. He also tried to fix the broken corners on the driveway to some degree. Overall I think the quality could have been a bit better, but they made the effort to make it right and for that I am very grateful. I can definitely recommend them. The work they did for me was not totally perfect, but they did everything they could to make it right and my neighbors have all admired our new driveway!
