Would be better if they would just have an old school answering machine... why pay someone, who can't do anything more than a cheap machine from 1995 (including not even able to answer where biz is located)? I gave up and went down the road to Mr. Plywood (they answered their phone during biz hours).

Not a small job, and an emergency one, because she LOVED running around the neighbors' yards. Lucian and his Dad braved the elements on extremely short notice, and built an entire new fence (mostly in the rain) for a great price. They gave me lots of upgrades, like unknotted wood, and thicker footers, and were incredibly fast and efficient. Its beautiful. That should have been enough, but - no - then my about six months later my back neighbors got their own Bernadoodle puppy, and the two dogs decided they didn't want a fence, so my pitty figured out how to pound her head against the boards until they bowed, then get her jaws on the wood, and tear through it. Lucian agreed that metal roof panels attached to the back fence would probably work (either that or an electric cattle fence), so he and his son came back out with the panels, cut them to fit, and spent a day attaching them, which - it turns out - is not as easy as it sounds. Again, quick service and excellent value. This family business, NW Modern, is fantastic, and I highly recommend them. And yes - it appears the metal roof panels are working!

The owner did not inform us ahead of time that work was being done, and I certainly did not provide the owner with permission to come onto our property. The worker, plain and simply, trespassed onto our property. Not only that, he put his ladder in my garden bed, and I have a large dog that, had I let her out, would not have been happy with a stranger with a tool in our yard. I am sure the work that they do is technically fine, but this behavior is not. It's common sense, and as a professional, he should have 10000% known better. So take that for what you will.

The price he quoted was better than the other quotes I got, and I feel like he was the most helpful and involved. When it came time to install Allen and Andy crushed it. Professional, efficient, and happy to answer questions. The completed work looks incredible (and as corny and cliche as it sounds, was already complimented by neighbors), with the only downside being that it makes my existing porches look like crap. Definitely would use them again (and will come spring for porch work). Cannot recommend everyone I worked with enough.
