Cubas is the best Dr. He has always known what is wrong with me and treated me kindly and respectfully. Very rarely do you run across a Dr this good. He will go out of his way to text me and follow up on any issues. I wouldn't consider seeing another Dr not sure what happened with these other people but if you need a PCP I would run not walk here. read more

Dr.Cubas has old time doctor skills mixed with up to date medicine and technology. He is great at listening to the patient, analyzes diagnostic test results, and explains details for a remedy. Besides office visits he checks up on his patients to make sure the advice is working. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Cubas for years and he is the only doctor I trust my life and the life of my family. Yes, it's takes at least an hour to get through an exam but guaranteed it's worth it. I have been going to Dr. Cubas since 2014. He is very passionate about his patients and their health. He always makes sure before I leave the office that I fully understand my diagnosis and the steps I need to take to get healthy. He also has referred me to specialists before to receive a second opinion and/or rule out additional issues. Screw this place....... had some blood work done here last month they never called me back to let me know the results came in so I called 2 days after they said oh yes they just got here but on the paper it said received and printed right when they opened them once I got there to go over my results they then told me that there was some concerns that needed to be discussed but the doctor wouldn't do it until I pay my co pay over again which is 120$ I asked them how they could tell me they had concerns then refuse to tell me them until I pay them again for something I just paid for 2 days ago then walked out this place needs to be shut down they are ripping people off if I could give 0 stars I would read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would do so in a heartbeat! This place is straight out of Cuba. Scratch that... Cuba has to be much better than this garbage of an urgent care. I was diagnosed on the first day with something horrible and came for all requested follow ups. I was assured and even given in writing that my follow-ups would be done with zero co-pay required. However each time I was given a different story and required to pay. I actually heard the doctor tell the front desk lady (right in front of my face...) to tell the lady that if she doesn't want to pay to see her primary because I don't work for free. I verified with my insurance who said follow ups for the same issue should not have been charged a copay at all! Besides the financial issues that they are fraudulently completing, they have 0 to 1 patients each time you're there but have you waiting an hour and a half or longer as the doctor plays solitaire on the computer (you can see it) and discusses all of the previous charts for the day while the front office staff plays Dr. themselves. Apparently he is training them all and you could hear the patients names, what was done to them, and then him correcting the paperwork that they did wrong. Other patients should never hear this. On top of this, all of this work should be done when the office is empty and not have people wait an hour and a half for a two second shot or for a one a second follow up which proves you never mattered as a patient. They just want to collect. They are also completing hand surgery on site and I don't see how they're even licensed to do so! I am beyond myself that this practice can exist. When I said excuse me twice to find out how much longer I'd be held hostage here, they made it even longer for me to wait. I will be contacting the Florida licensing board to file a complaint as well as leave a review on all sites available. AVOID this place at ALL costs! read more

They were so accomodating to us. Daughter had 103.1 degree fever and we had to catch a plane today. They saw us right away and were so nice and took extra lengths to help us quickly. I was very impressed. read more

I first came to this urgent care because my neighbor recommended it to me when I first moved to the area. When I came in there was a bit of wait, but this is normal at an urgent care being that it is a walk in clinic. The staff were very friendly and got me in as soon as they could. Dr. Cubas is absolutely amazing! It's clear that he knows a lot about his field and has a lot of experience in emergency medicine. He worked in the ER for many years and is also an excellent licensed surgeon for minor emergency procedures. The atmosphere was very pleasant and I will definitely be returning. A lot of Dr. Cubas's patients are regulars and recommend him through word of mouth. If we keep coming back, then he is definitely doing something right! I definitely recommend this urgent care to anyone looking for quality health care and friendly neighborhood service vs. a corporate feel like the other urgent cares in the area. read more

Dr. Cubas is very smart and, unlike most doctors, he's very humble and will listen to you and take your thoughts seriously. The location is great and it's rare there's ever a wait. I've unfortunately had many reasons to go here over the last two years, and they have always been friendly, quick, and capable. This is not the place to go if you're looking for a primary doctor, it is an urgent care. Many insurances will not view it as a primary and so you won't get the cheaper co-pays for follow ups. read more

I went into Dr. Cubas office on 09/02/2016 for care. After being told that the wait there was no wait time, with the understanding of processing of insurance, I waited for more than an hour. I saw the doctor, got treated, and was sent home with three prescriptions. The doctor also requested that I come in for a follow up visit to check on the issue in 5 days. I went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions, where they alerted me that they required additional information from the doctor and has been faxing him the authorizations to get the medications. NO REPLY from the doctor. I was able to receive 3/5 medications prescribed. I figured when I go back for the follow up, I will tell the doctor to send over the correct prescription. On Wednesday, 09/07/2016 I went back as requested by Dr. Cubas, the staff then alerted me that I would need to pay for another appointment as I will be seeing the doctor again, now I have seen Urgent Care doctors with the same insurance and all follow up are covered, I even called my insurance and verified this today. They were trying to double charge and bill both me and my insurance twice. I was willing to not see the doctor as it was just for a follow up, however I wanted to have the issue with the prescription taken care of, he REFUSED, he said that he would need to charge to review my file again, that is INSANE and wrong! He doesn't deserve to practice medicine if that is his mentality, I wouldn't have to ask, if he would just respond to the pharmacy. To date, he has not fixed the prescription issue, what a waste of my time!!!!! read more
