I love this place but my experience this morning was soured by the scam being purposely ran at the cash register to trick tourists who don't realize there is a 15% service charge (tip) already included in every transaction here. I was really disappointed with what I saw at the register today. The cashier was only handing customers the tip receipt to sign without showing the itemized receipt first, and the 15% service charge was already added. I watched one customer pay the $7 service charge and then unknowingly add a $10 tip on top of it. Several others did the same because they had no idea the service charge was already included. What bothered me even more was that the cashier held back the itemized receipt until after customers had already signed and added a tip, and only then asked, "Do you want your receipt?" At that point, customers had no chance to see what they were actually paying for. If people want to tip extra, that's totally fine -- but they should be aware of what's already been added. Watching multiple customers unintentionally double‑tip didn't feel good, and it's something that needs to be addressed. read more

We came in on a Tuesday morning because my husband was searching my for a Chai Latte. We went to order and they are out of Chai. Ok, that happens. I ordered a latte with an extra shot. And we waited. And waited. And waited. Watched others get their coffee and when I went up to ask, the young woman said, "I wondered why you were sitting there. Did I take your order?" No, it was another young woman. The first one said she would make my latte. The one who took my order came in and I pointed her out. She just shrugged her shoulders and couldn't have cared less. I'm generally too broke to go here, but sometimes I like to cosplay as a rich tourist and sip a cappuccino with my pinky out. Last time I went they weren't playing any music so I could hear several of the conversations going on around me. One guy kept repeating the phrase "$5 million isn't enough!", meanwhile I had just spent my last $10 on an overpriced hot chocolate. Still, I like this place. On my first few days in Aspen (and Snowmass), I haven't been impressed with the restaurants (so far!). Granted, this isn't a restaurant, but I was quite impressed with this coffee bar... First of all, the place itself has a great ambiance, with a spacious layout, great artwork, comfy lounge chairs, good overhead music, etc. etc. I ordered their hot Matcha Latte...and it was ready within 3 minutes, with good Latte art as well. It was mildly sweet, but had a rich, honey-like taste to it...and a nice amount of Matcha flavor. Loved it!! If I lived here, I can definitely see myself returning often. read more

This spot is absolutely gorgeous! The interior is exactly how I would want to decorate my home..one day, haha! The staff were very friendly. The coffee is served in very cute reusable containers and very good. The croissant was amazing but I would suggest sharing it as it is super sweet. It's a small spot so there isn't a ton of seating but if you are able to snag a table and enjoy your treats you'll be very glad you did! This coffee shop is attached to the Hotel Jerome so you know it's a little fancy and pricey. My latte was $7, which is only $1 more than I normally pay in Los Angeles. Stopped by this coffee shop with a couple friends on our weekend trip. This was the highest rated coffee shop in the town and I have seen it all over TikTok so I decided to give it a try. There are not many coffee shops in the area either. The coffee is just alright, definitely nothing special and pretty watered down in taste. I enjoyed my drink more than my friends, but it was just below average. We ordered a hot chocolate as well and even that was made poorly. The drinks and food are more on the expensive side, but that was not a problem for us. Ambience is cute and aesthetic, but that's about it. We were definitely expecting more. The service was good though. The cashier/barista was sweet and accommodating, though my drink was made wrong initially. Probably would not come back, but I'm glad we tried it once. read more

Super cute cafe attached to the Jerome but also has an exterior entrance from the street. Right on the corner so street parking shouldn't be too difficult. The pastries are not only gorgeous but also delicious. And ginormous!! I'm not even one who usually eats pastries much less a massive chocolate one but wow I'm so glad I ordered the Swiss chocolate croissant-- it's perfectly flaky on the outside and soft and rich in the inside. Really the perfect bite over and over again. Their coffee is good, I got an oat latte and enjoyed it (but it's also kind of hard to f up an oat latte). I know their coffee is their main thing but I can't say it was life changing. L the place itself is an absolute dream with feminine decor and decadent details. The staff is super friendly and everything came out quickly. I also appreciate the fact that they had dog bowls so not only is it dog friendly but also they have water bowls for your furry pals. What can I say? Felix is top-notch. It is located at Hotel Jerome in a lovely, historic room off the lobby. Lattes come out perfectly, the coffee is superb.. they have alternative milks. And bakery! Even gluten free bakery! As far as I'm concerned, Felix is the only craft coffee spot in Aspen. It's all you need. There is a location or two in New York, as well. Enjoy! read more

Very cute place attached to the hotel, but has a street side entrance as well. The decor and seating is very cozy & there's quite a bit of seating. I'm not sure on the outlet situation, but there were quite a few people with laptops and small groups of friends chatting. The cashier was super kind and the latte I ordered came out pretty quickly (Friday @ 9a). They also have water cups which were convenient. The vanilla latte itself was delicious! Kind of expensive, but that's expected in Aspen. Next time I'm in Aspen, I'll definitely come back :) read more

Adorable coffee shop with house made nut milk, made out of cashew, almonds, and pepitas. We tried the cappuccino, latte, dirty chai latte and matcha latte during our stay. The nut milk is creamy and smooth, and balanced out the espresso bitterness well. Foodwise, I'm pretty sure the only offering that doesn't have animal products was the avocado toast ($18!). Aside from the price tag, it was delish. Thick sourdough bread, mashed avocado, pickled onions, radishes. With some lemon squeezed on top it was just the right amount of umami and tart, yum! The atmosphere of the coffee shop, which is attached to Hotel Jerome is luxurious and quirky. Gold plated ceilings, velvet teal green couches (although unfortunately the seats may be leather), blush pink, floral wallpaper, and paintings matching the wallpaper motif. Milonga was playing in the background, and Felix is definitely reminiscent of old style Argentina, or a Wes Anderson movie. read more

This gorgeous little coffee shop is pretty discrete - it's attached to hotel Jerome. The decor and ambience are stunning - lush blush and teal velvet seating areas and gorgeous art and lighting. Very luxe Latin American vibe. The espresso is delicious and strong, albeit a $5 americano is probably only 8oz of the good stuff. Easily one of my favorite coffee spots in the Downtown Aspen area. I passed by here on their opening day inside of Hotel Jerome to have a cortado and croissant. The space was nicely decorated and aesthetically pleasing, service was quick and friendly, and the taste of both the cortado and the croissant were delicious!
