    California Burrito

Hefty burritos, very filling -- a lot of protein & filling inside. Bagel was a bit small and cream cheese tasted like it was mixed with mayonnaise.

The line was long and the place was crowded but the service was very quick! The eggs were mid but it was good for the price and size. I added chalula for more flavor. The hot chocolate was AMAZING. Definitely grab one to warm up after hitting the slopes. All the workers were nice, super cute little shop

Great place for coffee in the snowmass village mall! I got a dirty chai latte and it was amazing. Not too spicy, not too sweet. The breakfast burritos and food in general all looked so good, but unfortunately I didn't try anything during my stay. I like that they were actually open early too because most stores didn't open until 9/10am.

Fuel was one of the few places that we repeated during our stay. Mostly because you can't beat the convenience of a 3 minute walk to our condo. But also: - several milks available (almond, soy, coconut, and most importantly, oat) - vegan sandwich marked on menu (avocado, very thinly sliced sweet potato, tahini spread, red onion, lettuce) - several vegan smoothies, including green giant which was a burst of flavor. Made with soy milk + mango, peaches, and bananas - Bagel options (plain, multi grain, +) - We made our own vegan bagel sandwich with veggie sausage and tahini spread. Definitely can recommend this combo (even if it doesn't look pretty!) It was surprisingly good - Coffee was decent - Staff was very friendly

Love this shop! The workers know me by name, and exactly what I wanna order! The green giant smoothie is so delicious with a little added protein always curbs my craving for a healthy start to my day. For the first time I ordered a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese and it was so delicious as well. I frequent this place when I'm working, and it's what I look forward to everyday!

I have been wanting to try this place since I arrived in Snowmass five days ago. Their hours are a bit irregular. According to Yelp they are open until 5 PM, but the first time I tried to place a call-in order at 3:30 PM, I got a recording that they were now open for the winter season (it's now June) and they are open daily usually until 3 PM, but not to leave a message because they don't check it. Then the next day, I stopped by to place an order around 8 AM and there was staff there, but they said they just got a new system and hoped to open around 10 AM. I called again around 12:30 PM to order lunch and got the same winter recording. Later I noticed a sign on the door that they would reopen Friday. Now it's Sunday and I finally placed an order! I called ahead so my order would be ready when I arrived and that worked well. I got the California burrito and added sausage. Like others have commented, it as light on avocado and heavy on eggs and potatoes. None the less, it was a super tasty and filling burrito. I also ordered the strawberry banana smoothie, but got without the mango juice due to allergy. I found it really overpowered by orange juice. This may have been due to my request to omit the mango juice, but I had a hard time tasting the banana and got a lot of orange. The staff was friendly and efficient, but would hope they would update the answering machine message and improve communication on hours. With that being said, it is a great spot for breakfast while in Snowmass and I may also go back for lunch before I leave.

The food is great and is usually pretty quick service. Great place to go for lunch while on the mountain during the winter

Great place for a morning burrito if you're in Snowmass. Best to call ahead. Actual prices are higher than the old Yelp pics.

Fast friendly service. Coffee beverage was just ok and bagel sandwich was flavorless, which was puzzling as it was on an Everything Bagel.

Notice that the newer reviews on that platform are made by people leaving their first ever review in 2026 lol. I will leave a very candid honest review, and this is not something I'd usually do for a restaurant as someone who was in the service industry for a very long time. This was one of the most bizarre experiences I had as a diner, maybe the most bizarre. You can find more honest reviews on their yelp account. At first glance, they were out of 75% of their beers on tap. A friend asks the bartender/server, Patrick, (who is conveniently named today in a five star review from one of the fake reviewers) if there is a menu we can look at. He responds with "of course there's a menu...this is a restaurant." We order coffee and food. Patrick mentions the coffee will come out in 3 minutes. That came out one hour later. We weren't offered cream or sugar, which is fine, but no apologies on the wait. 1/3 entrees come out and there's no explanation about the other dishes. An hour in, the second entree comes out and Patrick tells a friend in the group "who ordered the pulled pork? We just sold the last one so you'll have to order something else." This is an hour into waiting for food. The friend is shocked; but kind. He orders a BLT. Now two hours in, it never comes. At this point we have to leave. We ask for the BLT boxed up and the check. Patrick brings over the check with 20% gratuity added for a party of 8 or more. We're a 6 top. When we ask him to remove it he says "I can't, it's part of the system." We said ok but we are not 8 we're 6....he said "well, sorry, they need to update it to 6." We tell him we're not doing that and he takes it off and charges our card. Mind you--the coffees we waited an hour for (just drip), every single soda refill, and a pickle that I ordered that he charged $3 for but I never got, were all still on the bill. On top of that, he added a 10% takeout fee on our ENTIRE order for the to go BLT. We didn't come for takeout, but after 2 hours, we had to get it to go. Here's the kicker, it never came! Once we asked him to take the 10% off, he again said it was part of the system and he couldn't do it. At this point, I asked to speak to the manager. Patrick mentioned he was the manager and supervisor. Which is odd--because the manager reading these reviews is reaching out to my friends and requesting them on social media to "make it right", but seeing fake reviews after the fact doesn't seem as such. Just BIZARRE. We finally get Patrick to take the 10% off the bill. We get the bill back. Yall....its $50 MORE than the original. Turns out he added someone else's tab to our card and we got charged for that too. This ended with him saying "I'm just trying to help you man." Not a single apology. Oof. Do what you wish, but I do not recommend this place. We went down the road to a stew restaurant to get food for our friend that never got a meal at the Tavern, and the drinks, meal and service were incredible. Please do better guys.

If you are going to leave your room for dinner/lunch there are better options. Lunch/dinner: The turkey club is fantastic. The French fries are not. Substitute anything else (including the sweet potato fries which are amazing). The New England clam chowder is better than decent but not amazing. Worth ordering if you are in the mood for soup. The Caesar salad is large and flavorful. The grilled chicken addition was not as pleasant... albeit passable. The chopped salad was great... although I held the blue cheese and had the dressing on the side. Breakfast: The eggs were prepared to order correctly and properly. The turkey sausage was waaaaaaaay too dry... even at the end of the breakfast time span, meals should be prepared fresh and correctly. This definitely appeared to be turkey sausage cooked long ago and set under a heat lamp to shrivel up and desiccate. Very disappointing. Similarly the roasted potatoes were dry and over cooked... see above. The Greek yogurt was not sweeter enough for my taste. Very little honey on top. But they did provide extra honey with the jam and butter for the toast so I could add more. The berries were fresh and delicious! Overall I would recommend lunch/dinner in room service. Avoid breakfast. And if you want to leave the room; leave the resort and try something different!

He sat us down at a window table every morning and gave us coffee and juice while we waited for the wife's take out breakfast. After the wife's breakfast was done, he allowed us to go deliver the breakfast before coming back and ordering our breakfast. It is better than a typical hotel buffet because everything is cooked to order. You do have a lot more variety than a typical hotel buffet. I got their classic breakfast everyday. They cooked my over medium eggs perfectly. Even though I ordered their classic breakfast everyday, I could try different combos like ham, bacon or sausage. Daughter liked their burritos, and lollipop pancakes. Service was good. Everyone one of the employees working here are foreign students working on their hospitality degrees. The salad was just very basic, small, and sad for the price it cost to add it to my soup.
