Fellini's Pizza is one of my favorite stops and the Ponce location doesn't disappoint! The service is always as fast as possible even with a ton of orders and the seating isn't ideal when the outdoor seating isn't available, but the food makes up for it. It is probably my favorite pizza in Atlanta and it's hard to say exactly why but I just find the ingredients to be great and cooked perfectly every time. The Good and the not so good... Fellini's is an average pizza spot located in Virginia Highlands right on Ponce Ave. everything looks legitimate. There is a patio decking and the pizza chefs are always in good spirits. Unfortunately whenever I visit this spot I always sense that something is missing. Have you ever felt that way before? It could have been the emptiness of the inside of the restaurant and the music that was playing had a low energy vibe. Anyways, once I got home I heated up the toaster oven and heated the pizza. I was happy that the flavor was intact. A little smoky from the residue from the big oven and the red sauce had a distinctive flavor with a hint of fennel and garlic combo. One of the small items that they management can cover is the seasoning shakers need to washed off daily. When I sprinkled garlic and pepper on my pizza the outside glass was caked with fingerprint residue from previous users. Not clean and definitely unsanitary. We can do better. read more

Atlanta staple when it comes to pizza. Definitely higher quality ingredients, service, and ambiance than your local pizza chains which is expected. I ordered the white pizza and the veggie pizza. Basic, but so delicious. Pizza is cooked to order so it comes out to you fresh and super cheesy. I'd let it sit a bit before digging in because if you eat it right away sometimes the toppings and cheese tends to fall off and it gets a little messy. Pizza party at Fellini's! After a fun day out in the sun, my boo and I had pizza on our mind and thought it'd be the perfect day to have our first taste of Fellini's. Yes, I know, embarrassing to admit lol but I'm still eating my way around ATL after a year+ as a resident and he lives outside of the metro so please, forgive us lol. I'll say this. It won't be our last visit. Fellini's is hard to miss when you're driving up the road, as the vintage sign out front shouts my name every time I pass by. Finding parking right out front wasn't difficult despite the busy afternoon that we visited. We parked and headed inside, surprisingly met with a packed dining room (but not crowded) full of excited pizza fans. Beyond the guests, my eyes darted towards towers of pizza boxes (folded and unfolded) and the partially open kitchen where two cooks were tossing up some pies with glee. We ventured to the cashier and took time to review the great variety of toppings and pizza styles, so much info for one as hungry as myself. After consulting with each other for a bit, we decided on a medium veggie pizza with a few additional toppings. Ordering with the sweet cashier was easy as pie and we took the only open table to chill as we waited for our order. About 15min or so later, a pizza came up and the team member shouted out, "NICK!" No one answered so she put the pizza to the side. Then she calls the name out again. Finally my bf asks what's on the pizza and finds out that it's ours lol. Spoiler alert: his name isn't Nick and isn't anywhere near Nick LOLOL but - we got the pizza, that's what matters LOL We decided to take our boxed pizza out on their patio which offered tables covered in umbrellas which were heavenly with the heat of this summer.! Our pizza toppings were correct down to the omissions and additions, and incredibly fresh. Like, straight out of the oven because my greedy a** almost burnt my tongue off trying to eat it too quickly and I'd do it again! We loveddd this pizza, I totally understand the hype now. I was even surprised when my partner told me that he loved it even more than our other fave pizza spot in town (that he also loves lol). What a (delicious) win! read more

Customer service at this location is pathetic. An order was placed to this location by mistake and the manager refused to refund the order knowing it could not be picked up. The manager that named himself "Gambino" stated due to food cost, regardless of the mistake a refund would not be issued and I would have to contact my bank for a refund. My order was $6.21... it's the principle for me. Regardless of food cost.. admitting that you will throw away the food and still not refund me so I can cover your food cost is insane. Accidents happen and in the case of customer service it's clear this company doesn't care nor know how to accommodate or even try and resolve a simple issue. A slice of pizza cost you a customer and I refuse to support a restaurant ran off greed. read more

I ordered take out which isn't always the best way to judge a place, especially when it comes to pizza which is best fresh from their over or still cold from the fridge the next day. Picking up was a breeze since it was ready by the time I got there. Indoor and outdoor tables are both available weather permitting. I got to try their cheese slice, specialty slice, and spinach and mushroom sicilian. My favorite was hands down the spinach and mushroom because of the garlic but otherwise, I was unimpressed with the thick cheese and plain pizza sauce. The dough was cooked well and relatively on the chewy side but I have had better. Toppings of the specialty were not well spread out as some bites were 6 layers of pepperoni only, chunks of cheese, etc. Not sure if I have to urge to come again. read more

Y'all know how I feel about pizza. I'm throwing down the gauntlet to say this is very possibly the best pizza I've ever had. Plus they offer beers & ales & spirits in cans & maybe bottles. This is an order-first joint, then you seat yourself with a numbered table-tent, and your order is brought to you when it's ready. The dining area was a good size & not crowded on a Saturday night in mid-November. Outdoor seating was also available but the weather was chilly for this Florida girl. We had just a brief wait for our food. The cashier was incredibly patient while explaining that their white pizza actually has a thin layer of red sauce and she assured me that it was complementary & not overpowering. Wow, she was right! And I was able to customize my large slice with my desired toppings, which is unusual yet very appreciated. She was also helpful in recommending Dry County Cherry Limeade Punch based on my inquiry of a locally-made adult bev other than beer. It was exactly what I wanted! My slice was huge & I wasn't able to eat the whole thing! I am hoping we have an opportunity to get pizza here again in January when we return to Atlanta for our postponed concert. Maybe I'll get an extra slice for lunch at work the following week. I finally tried out Fellini's after driving by it forever. I'd say it's a decent option. The crust was crispy and thin. I had the veggie pizza. I wasn't a big fan of the thick cut almost raw vegetables. I'd prefer my veggies somewhat cooked before. It comes with extra cheese and it was a thick amount of cheese on top probably could've used more sauce. Went there to get a two slices of pizza as I was hungry, in the area and this place was on my list of restaurants to try. I guess the front cashier didn't hear me because it was soo loud with the music she ordered up me two Fellinis Special Pizza slices instead of one and a vegetarian slice. Pizza is terrible. Served me the cardboard thin slice pizza, i sent it back and one worker said you had to buy a whole pizza to get a regular crust/pizza. A different worker claimed they were all the same. Clearly not the same! From the pic you can see there is zero crust and no cheese, the toppings are on top of hardened cheese.
