First time using them. I am a DIYer and wa ted to install a 6' tall vinyl fence, straight line with a gate. I had seen ads on TV for Fence Outlet and had driven by their store on Falkenberg many times. I contracted them using the form on their site. They were quick to respond, I was contacted by Marissa Buitron. She was very easy to deal with and extremely helpful. This being my first vinyl fence install I wanted to make sure I ordered all the necessary parts. I simply told Marissa what I was doing. She wrote up a quote and had it back to me quickly. I was even able to get delivery, for an extra fee. All arrived on time and was packaged neatly. I will definitely use them again and recommend them for fencing supplies. Fence Outlet was very good from start to finish on this project. They were prompt in getting me a quote and following through with getting the permit as well. Moe was an excellent person to work with and was very helpful along the way. She mitigated and ameliorated any issues quickly. She is very professional and friendly. The initial installers were quick and did a great job. Although the initial locking mechanism failed the inspection for the permit, Moe was quick to follow up and had Mike Booth and David Chapman come out to ensure everything was brought up to code and ensured satisfaction. Fence outlet does a good job. They work via email and their staff is very responsive. The product is done nicely and install was done in one day. If you are looking to work outside the lines, cross a property line or post up on an easement this company is not for you. They follow code, and city laws. Horrible experience with fence outlet they sent out workers that spoke no English. They never put the fence on the property line or did our gate correctly according to our contract. They were supposed to pull a permit never did that. Still waiting on them fixing our fence It's been since February the 4th. Lots of emails and calls and nobody seems to want to step up to make the contract right but they have been asking for the other half of the money for the fence even though they haven't completed the project. Finally after putting a review out I get an email and they sent someone out on February the 18th who was supposed to take care of the problem. However nobody has contacted us again and we're still waiting and we're almost in March now. Terrible experience I would absolutely tell people to go to a different company!! I paid for 204 feet of fence, removal of 155 feet of existing fence and the removal of 38 posts. Fence Outlet was paid to remove the few sections of existing fence that did withstand Hurricane Ian and replace the panels and the posts. The installers didn't. They left the 8 existing panels up and installed the new fence around them. They didn't even reinforce the posts. I have left a message for the manager and the service manager at the North Port office but have not yet heard back from them. I really hope that they take care of this. read more

I am only giving two stars because ultimately the fence itself is a good product and the crew that installed it did a very nice job. I would not recommend this company at all. Jesse came out and quoted us. Pretty hard pressure sell, "if you sign today we can discount xyz". We liked the fence, and the price was in the range so we agreed to sign on the dotted line. BIG MISTAKE. We were originally quoted 4-6 weeks before they could install. NO problem, it's FL, we get it. We were thrilled when they were ready to install 2 weeks later. Crew comes to the house, and we find out they mis- measured by about 40 feet of fence, and were only contracted to pull down a portion of the fence, not the entire fence. This was not accurate. Jesse came back out re-measured, and we were advised it would be just under and additional $500. We weren't thrilled with the extra expense since we requested one thing, but were quoted another. They refused to budge on the increase. Ok Fine. It's still where we want to be price wise, we don't want the hassle of trying to get new quotes, starting all over again. Installation day rolls around for the second time. They have the amount of fence right this time BUT they still don't have the 100 foot run of fence as part of what they need to take down and carry it off. At this point, we have committed, so my husband is pulling down fence *that we thought they were going to do* so we can just move on with the install. We contacted the office and they advised they would "coach the salesman" That's just great, and hopefully it doesn't happen to someone else. Bought a split rail fence from Fence Depot. They said it was a special order and the invoice said we were getting "5 each 3 x 8' PVC RANCH RAIL 2 RAIL SECTION-WHT", when we picked it up the guys filling the order could not find the 5 - 2RAIL SECTIONS after about a half hour of looking for them they decided that we should be getting 5 - 16' sections. We were not made aware that they would be 16' long and our invoice did not indicate 16' anywhere. They cut the 16 feet long rail into 8 feet sections and charged us for the cuts. The now 8 foot sections only have clips on one side To clip into the posts. I feel that we were deceived as well as ripped off for the cuts and the correct size rails. read more

I searched for the best Fence company for just over a month. I spoke to several companies. Fence Outlet had the best overall price. Fence Outlet needed to come back twice to tighten the fence doors. They usually showed up within two days of my call. That's pretty good. The larger side gate cracked within 5-6 months of having it installed. Interestingly, it was the gate that we rarely used. I spoke with the company and they sent someone out to look at it. The individual thought it was damaged by the wind. We discussed it and it wasn't logical. I called and talked with the General Manager. His initial thought was the same as the fence rep. He sent someone out again and the guy said the same thing. We discussed the matter further and I then called the General Manager. He called me back and said he'd take care of the issue. The fence was fixed within a few days. I'm a happy customer. Horrible customer service, labor and materials. The sales person tells you that you can buy a warranty that would cover sprinkler damage during installation but you really don't need it. Why would there be sprinkler damage in the first place? Sure enough the installers damaged three sprinklers and one of them ended up on the neighbors side.. then they didn't want to fix it until I escalated the situation. Now several months later the door has cracked to the gate and though they said it had warranty now it is no covered because it's a material damage? Update to previous post: I reached out to Fence Outlet Corporate and they "investigated" the issue. Many thanks to The Customer Care Manager, Christina Vertus. She stepped up and remedied the problem. She managed to have the installers come back out and add the "missing" panel, as well as, customize one of my fence gates. The cost added to my overall job was minimal. I am not upset with the fencing product or the installers that installed the fence. They were great! What I am upset with is that the management at the Faulkenberg office refused to acknowledge that one of their representatives made a mistake and the management refused to OWN the mistake and was going to charge me a crazy amount of money to fix their mistake. Why was it so hard to "eat the cost of one fence panel to insure that the job was done correctly? I recently had a job done by Fence Outlet. The job was completed, but not correctly. The fence outlet representative who measured the job did so incorrectly. I was unaware of this until the job was completed. They shorted me 1 fence panel. When I brought this to their attention, they refused to acknowledge the error and provide the additional panel. They state that they are following the contract for the allotted materials delivered. I am not a fencing professional so I assumed the measuring was done correctly. My job was $8500.00 dollars. They could not comp the 1 panel to make the job right. Fence Outlet Review There were multiple issues. The sales person did not call me back or email the estimate as he had promised in the initial visit. He had to come to take measurements a second time after I called (multiple times) for an estimate. Once contract signed, there was delay for HOA approval (after I told the sales guy no HOA). Then, the billing department called to report that my credit card would not go through (further delaying process). According to my credit card company, Fence Outlet did not provide the correct expiration date (which I confirmed I had written on my agreement and payment information). I had to make multiple calls checking on the status and when install could be scheduled. I had someone come to remove old fence but was unable to remove some posts. Install team came at 7 am for a 9 am appointment. Very rude crew chief. She saw the posts that were unable to be removed by my friend and myself and made nasty comments. On one side, where there were some posts, she said, "Somebody needs to get out here and remove these before we get around here." I am a healthcare provider who had been exposed to Covid from my patients the week before. I got out and removed 5 of the 8 foot fence posts myself (middle age female who did not feel well). I became very overheated, dizzy and almost passed out. I later went in doors to cool off. Apparently, at some point, the crew chief called the GM and indicated that there was a lot of the old fence remaining rather than 9 posts That needed to be removed. They had planned to leave the job unfinished. (My contract indicated that if there was work outside of install to be done, I would be charged a certain amount per hour.) Rather than discuss this and the potential for an extra charge to remove the posts with me, the install crew went to Lowe's, purchased flimsy wood posts and plastic temporary net type fencing then returned to my home to begin placing this temporary fencing around the open parts of the pool. I received a call from the sales guy who stated the crew called the GM and reported a lot of (old) fence left in place. I had to take pictures and video to the salesman to show what was left. After several calls with the sale guy and the assistant GM (who promised to make this right indicating "this is not how we do business", I was told the GM indicated to the crew the job needed to be completed that day with the crew removing the remaining posts. My neighbor reported that she heard the crew cursing loudly and complaining about the work that needed to be done. She was quite upset as her grandchildren heard the foul language as well. The crew did complete most of the job but stopped at 3 pm due to a 30 minute rain shower. They left, later sending a text That they would return the following morning for completion. The next morning, I received a call From the assistant GM that the crew had an "emergency". I was then promised a crew the following day. At 3pm, no crew and no phone call with en explanation. I made multiple calls before the assistant GM called and said they would "try" to have a crew the next day or the following day. This left my pool exposed with only temporary fencing. Fortunately a much more professional crew came and completed the job without extended delay. The second crew was lead by Cody Johnson who was very apologetic and professional. I was pleased with his attitude and empathy. However, this company has many shortcomings and failed promises. They did not live up to the customer service experience one should have when investing over $5000 in a product and service. I would not recommend this Fence Outlet Company for their poor customer service and negligence in selling me the wrong size gate. On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, I ordered a White 5 X 8 Tung & Grove Gate. While picking it up on Friday, I had to wait 45 minutes for them to manufacture the gate. I rented a truck and brought it home. The next day during installation, I noticed the gate's measurements were incorrect. instead of 60 inches wide or 5 feet, it was 62 inches wide. The following Monday, I spoke to Sales Associate, Martina Mendoza who would not apologize for her mistake or willing to discount or give a credit for her incompetence. I don't even know where to begin with this company . I had the worst experience of my life . I called Fence Outlet to get a price on one side of the house only solid fence , the guy came out and gave me the two cent spiel next thing i knew i was signing the contract. The company took care of the permit ..measurements ect. while i was waiting the 6-8 wks for the fence to be delivered and installed different people came out to put little flags where the water lines & cable wires were buried . The installers came one young guy and a older gentlemen , neither one could speak english the next thing i know while they were digging they hit a water pipe , nobody knew who's water line pipe it was , my whole yard was flooded including my neighbors since the water ran for hours , i was so worried it was going to flood my garage i asked one of the workers to call his supervisor since he was clueless as to what to do . After an hour or so a Supervisor from the port richey office showed up and he couldn't figure out how to turn that water off , i called Pasco county utilities and i was told that it wasn't their responsibility since the waterpipe was leaking from behind the water meter , to make a long story short finally after numerous calls to Pasco county they sent a worker out to fix the pipe that Fence Outlet had broken .There was more then 4 inches of water on the side of my house which of course mixed with the sand was mud . Had to wait for 2 days for the grounds to dry Fence outlet workers come back 2 days later and finished installing the fence i was told the old posts and the old fence would be removed . Wrong .. they cut the old posts down to the ground and left the stub standing out of the ground when i called their office over and over again finally one of their supervisors comes back out to see the lousy job that was done , the cable wires were left sticking out of the ground along side of the fence and i was told that was the norm , they left mounts of dirt all over the place also the norm. The gate did not latch closed , i refused to pay them the remaining balance until they came back and fixed it all ... a few weeks went by and someone came to fix the gate to this day it still doesn't latch right , the posts are still sticking out from the ground and the whole fence is wiggly wobbly when i told them this , they told me that it needs to be flexible due to the high winds we get here in florida . I am extremely disappointed. Follow up and communication has been extremely poor. Every time we call they give us a different version of the status of our fence. HOA approval was provided to the company within of a week; however, two months later the company can't provided a clear status of our fence or when it will be installed. They give us several versions of what's going on. The person that sold us the fence failed to send paperwork on time, and we are still waiting for an answer, two months after. However, they were able to charge for the paperwork and permit fee on the spot. I called to ask one question about if something could be added, was provided a BS response that they need to COMPLETELY REMOVE THE ENTIRE BRAND NEW FENCE to install a new one! Hahaha! I am not a moron. I said thank you but I am not interested in their products and services whatsoever. THAT was the final word, or should have been! They have called me 5+ times PER DAY for MONTHS harassing me with sales calls. I have asked to be added to their "do not call" list and have CONTINUOUSLY stated that I never requested a quote, never asked for a sales appointment, and do not want them to contact me. I was assured that I was added to the "do not call" list but I was not and they continue to call and WILL continue to call until I change my phone number. This is illegal harassment and intimidation! I have had to block 15+ different phone numbers that they call from because they use scammer tactics such as an auto-dialer with false phone numbers to call to harass strangers. Unbelievably UNETHICAL and DISHONEST, RUDE, DESPERATE, PATHITIC company! From the looks of their reviews online, even when they do provide a service it is garbage. So it's been over a year now. The management never owned any of the problems. The fence is horrible, the gates don't shut and fence is all wavy and shakes in the wind. The 60lbs of concrete they say they put in each post is a lie We have had to fix several posts wit almost zero concrete in them. I had them install a fence about one year or so ago only to find out the hard way that there was a utility easement on my property. They installed a five foot gate which sits in the easement thus I can not extend my walkway thru the gate and to my driveway. I supplied the salesman with a copy of my survey and he at that time should had mentioned to me the placement of the gate and the restrictions of a utility easement. Fence Outlet has done many fences and I am sure they were well aware of the codes in Palm Coast. So now my only option is to have the fence and gate modified so the walk way would could be completed with in code. I have called them several times both the manager Rich Burke and salesman Scott Barr asking for there help in making the adjustments. Instead of expressing the need to help Rich Burke the manager's only concern was how much they were going to charge me right down to about ten rivets. It's now been over two weeks and I am still waiting for them to call back with a price to repair even though it should be there responsibility. This company has been a nightmare! Robert came out and quoted us, knowing full well that we wanted to the fence to go all the way back to the property line. We also wanted the gates on each side of the house to match in location. Unfortunately, they gave us 48 hours notice on when installation would happen and neither of us could be home. Upon returning home that evening, it was discovered that not only did they not take the fence to the back property line, they also tried to get away with using all of their panels (which they still couldn't do), by bringing one side a full 8' farther up the side of the house than was on the other side. We immediately contacted our Salesman, Robert, who agreed it was installed wrong and said he'd take care of it. It's been over 3 weeks and nothing has happened. They tried to say they couldn't legally put it where we had agreed to, due to an easement, and when confronted with the actual wording of code, they claimed to need a waiver. In the meantime, we actually offered a compromise, to move the fence they had no problem putting through the side easement, and move the back fence where we wanted it. No response. Then we got word from our county that "if we choose to put fence on the easement, we are responsible for allowing access should any utility company need access". Again, crickets. This company doesn't care about their customers or service after the sale. Sad thing is they lost another $5K job from the neighbor behind us who was going to use them to fence in his yard, sharing the back fence with us. Now we have 2 projects on hold and will have to hire someone else to get the remaining panels and posts needed and install our fence properly. Let me begin by saying that my husband and I are both new to Florida and also new to the task of putting in a fence. These two factors would have been to our disadvantage had we have used another company who may have taken advantage of our knowledge levels in these areas. Such was certainly not the case when we used Fence Outlet to install our fence. One of the BEST experiences was meeting the salesman David Spence who gave us so much of his time answering our many, many questions about placement and was especially insightful regarding esthetically pleasing options that made the final product look AMAZING! David even gave us his cell phone number, and when we called him for questions that arose throughout the process he called us back lightening fast and was very accessible and super friendly. In fact another neighbor on our block loved it so much he will also be utilizing Fence Outlet's amazing salesman and skilled installers for his yard. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful our yard now looks. We were especially impressed about David's working knowledge of Clearwater codes with regard to height and placement. The installation crew was timely and super efficient, not to mention they were friendly when approached with a question. It is a shame that Fence Outlet offers such a superior product with beautiful fencing that we will likely not be working with this company again ourselves but we will always remember this is one of the most positive experiences working with a company and will continue to recommend Fence Outlet to our future friends and family. The only person acting professional in the entire organization is the sales rep as they take your money. 4 no shows on scheduled days. The 3 days they were here the worked a total of 11 hrs. The crew they had come to my home was irresponsible and not willing to work a full day. The GM got involved....left a message that the remainder of the fence install would be taken care of by a different crew on 1pm on a Friday. No show again! Pay extra and go somewhere else.
