I had cats in…read morethe past and they lived a long life 19-21 years old and I have NEVER abandoned a pet and have perfect Vet records. Every pet I inquired about, I was told it was already adopted by someone else. Because they have so many animals, I kept trying but again, was told each time it was already adopted. They never reached out to try to let me know when a cat came in that I was looking for or followed up or anything. I ended up getting a cat from a Chattanooga rescue group who was so nice and drove her here to Atlanta for me! I also own my house and dote on my pets and treat them as family members. I also drove up to their compound and looked at the cats there and it made me sad, they were in small plastic "kitty condos" - and it is a very nice facility but they could have made larger cages with all the money they spent. Cats do not like confined areas at all!

We found home remedies that seemed to work but got her checked out anyways, we went to Forsyth, and the experience there was unlike any other. We recently brought our 16 1/2 year-old Wheaten terrier, Bella, to Dr Avra after a lump she had…read moredeveloped a few years ago, began affecting her walking. Because of her age, the recovery process, and her anxiety about going to the vet, my husband and I were completely against surgery and had never considered it an option. At that point, our only goal was to keep Bella comfortable. Our veterinarian referred us to Dr Avra because of his experience with tumor removal, and from our very first appointment, we felt reassured. He took x-rays, completed, bloodwork, and carefully reviewed Bella's overall health before discussing our options with us. Dr Avra immediately noticed how spry Bella was for her age, and after going through all the results with him, we began to reconsider what we had thought was not possible. What stood out the most was the time he spent with us. DrAvra was incredibly thorough in explaining the risk, but he also gave us comfort in knowing that removing the lump could help relieve Bella's chronic pain and improve her quality of life. Knowing how anxious Bella gets at the vet, Dr Avra also allowed us to stay with her while he sedated her so she would not be stressed by us not being there. After surgery, Dr Avra continued to go above and beyond. He saw Bella three days in a row to monitor her recovery and to make sure she was doing well, even coming in on his day off to check on her. That level of care meant more to us than we can express. Now, just seven days after surgery, Bella has a bounce back in her step, her tail is wagging more, and her mobility has greatly improved. Seeing her more comfortable and happy has confirmed that we made the right decision. There are not many people we would trust to guide us through such a difficult decision, but after our first visit with Dr Avra, we knew Bella was in good hands. We do not know how much time we have with our fur kids, but having someone who truly cares and helps make them comfortable in their senior years means everything. Dr Avra - Bella, Tim, and I are forever grateful for the compassion, guidance, and exceptional care you provided during such a stressful time. You and your team have been amazing and we cannot thank you enough! Tim, Lisa, & Bella Richmond

She wasn't pushy like other places we had visited. Meagan really has a genuine love for her pups. We went in looking for a Poodle and ended up with a Maltipoo. My girls and especially my wife were in love at first sight. There was just a peace in knowing she was the one for us. After being in our family for several days now, that peace has been confirmed even more. Cali or Callie (we haven't decided on the spelling yet) is her name since we're from there. Lord bless Meagan's business. Thank you for everything. (John 3:16-21and verse 36.

I recently brought home two teacup Yorkshire Terriers, and I am absolutely in love with them. From the moment I picked them up, I could tell how much love and care had gone into raising them. One of them, Tiny, went straight to the pee wee pad when we got home--such a smart little guy! His older brother Titan loves to cuddle and falls asleep in my sisters arms when she hold him. Seeing how they behave really shows how well they're cared for and prepped before going to their forever homes. The experience was smooth, the environment was clean, and it's clear the team at Precious Petite Puppies truly cares about every single pup. I've attached some photos so you can see just how adorable they are! If you're even thinking about adding a furry friend to your life, definitely check them out!

Please read the adoption contract before bringing a pet into your home as a foster or to adopt. We…read morefostered a wonderful dog and decided to keep her. Then we saw the contract and it is more stringent than CPS. The contract effectively relegates the shelter to retain ownership of the pet. It calls for "home inspections" and the right of the shelter to reclaim the dog. Specifically, there are 18 provisions with seven (7) that allow the shelter to reclaim your pet. You must show proof of health care, notify them if you move, get their "approval" in the unlikely event you wish to re-home your pet, require "frequent updates" and information, and they maintain control of the chip registration. In effect, you do not own your dog and are subject to the whims and capricious control of the rescue shelter. During our discussions, Wendy tried to mislead me that these contract clauses were "the law." However, they are not based on any "laws," but merely shelter policies. Moreover, the representatives (Joan and Wendy) demonstrated little compassion, having found a perfect fit for this pet in a loving and caring home, but insisting on all of these restrictive, invasive and intrusive contract policies rather than negotiating an amicable agreement for an adoption. We fell in love with this dog and she with us. She was happy and had adjusted to healthy routines. She came with me everywhere. We are heartbroken, but dealing with such rapacious people is untenable. Wendy came by to pick up our family member and did not say a word. I found her to be dispassionate and heartless. If you adopt from Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue, be prepared - you will not "own" your dog.
