The donations are terrific: clothing, lamps, seasonal decorations, tools, books, CD's, records, toys, furniture, one of a kind items, oil and water color paintings, prints, crystal and glassware, bedspreads, cookware, shoes, large selection of materials for crafters, knitting and sewing supplies , unusual picture frames, antiques, and pricing to fit everyone's budget. Since every organization requires positive leadership, Ms. Bryn the manager leads by example, respect for the customers, the employees and volunteers, and makes everyone comfortable. She brings a joy and young spirited freshness to the Marietta Furkids store. Come in and take an enjoyable stroll through the Marietta store. You never know what treasures await you.

I was looking for a kitten or cat because my dog who was 18 years old passed away. I had cats in…read morethe past and they lived a long life 19-21 years old and I have NEVER abandoned a pet and have perfect Vet records. Every pet I inquired about, I was told it was already adopted by someone else. Because they have so many animals, I kept trying but again, was told each time it was already adopted. They never reached out to try to let me know when a cat came in that I was looking for or followed up or anything. I ended up getting a cat from a Chattanooga rescue group who was so nice and drove her here to Atlanta for me! I also own my house and dote on my pets and treat them as family members. I also drove up to their compound and looked at the cats there and it made me sad, they were in small plastic "kitty condos" - and it is a very nice facility but they could have made larger cages with all the money they spent. Cats do not like confined areas at all!

Our last visit was for an annual check up and the experience was wonderful. The facilities are clean and the staff and doctors aka veterinarians are all A+. We have used this facility for boarding and day care while we were traveling and that was well done also. Location is wonderful and parking is plentiful. 5 stars and two thumbs up for Sugar Hill Animal Hospital! Thank you!

Sadly this is not the case any longer. There is a palpable difference now that hits you upon entering. Gone are the warm smiles of the staff who often knew your pets name and in their place now exists a cold, almost annoyed reception usually reserved for DMV appointments. The Doctors now also seem very mechanical. We just had the painful experience of losing our second dog but this time around there was no warmth or understanding from the folks here; I received more warmth from patrons in the waiting room. I don't know if this is a new ownership, steward or management issue but the atmosphere shift is very noticeable. We have switched vets. Oh and to boot we have not received a single word or note of condolences from them regarding our loss. They know our pet passed. Apparently they don't care. Never stepping foot in there again.

After 3 surgeries with Veterinary Emergency Group in Alpharetta (BTW, Absolute Godsend), we were to be released to a vet's care. As our vet was too far away for the frequent follow ups that were to ensue, we were open to suggestions. Dr. Tharp came highly recommended, so we took a shot and could not be more pleased. Dr. Tharp's entire team is amazing. First of all, they were sympathetic, gentle and loving with my injured boy, which goes a long way with a doting dog mom. Dr. Tharp was thorough with her exam and review of all injuries he had sustained. She and her staff gave us excellent care and advice through the healing process. It has been a year and a half and we are as delighted with our choice today as we were initially. After all of the trauma he went through, Louie goes into complete zoomie mode when we get out of the car at their office. He loves the entire team and cannot wait to get in there and visit. This is definitely his way of giving Four Paws Animal Hospital his Two Paws up review!

Now a week has gone by since she did the follow up and told us he was good and to stop giving him the ointments they had originally prescribed for ears and eyes. I had to take my dog into urgent care last night and spend insane amount of money because he was in critical condition because she failed to tell us that he's severely anemic, underweight, teeth rotting out of his mouth and now we are at home and they are refusing to pick up the phone, she laughed at us and said she wont be doing his appointment at 11am and its 10:20am and ive been up all night hand feeding him with a syringe. And now they wont even answer mine or my boyfriends phone calls. This is complete negligence and its very clear that this doctor does not care about animals as she knows our tiny dog is literally dying in a heated blanket in our kitchen. Absolute joke of a vet office and when our dog dies because of this were going to have a huge problem. The photos attached are of him at the urgent care hospital last night in the red bed and then the photo of him with catheter still intact is right now after ive been trying to keep him alive until they would see him and now after waiting for this appointment since yesterday so now i have no appointment and probably dont have much more time until hes dead and its all on this woman.

A LITTLE Pom Pom on the tail and very low on the legs. Well, if you look at the pictures, she didn't even get touched on the legs nor the head. Although i said leave a little, they didn't even touch those areas. I signed off a pre-estimate for $112 then they called my mom to say she needed this & she needed that bc they couldn't do the cut. Ok cool, didn't even mention how much, whatever. Then i pick her up AT 5PM, somehow they needed 6 HOURS to take care of a tiny cat, I've never in her 2yrs getting haircuts have to put her to sleep. Now my baby is wobbly around for the next 12hrs with a FUCKED UP haircut for $289, idc about spending on my baby but WTF, this was INSANE. On top of that, NO BATH. She came out as dirty and hairy and she went in. I'm extremely frustrated & disappointed. Very lovely staff but the prices are unfair.
