We were able to enjoy a hands on private learning experience on a tool we'd owned and been learning on by online tutorials for a few months. Being able to ask questions, work out problems and scenarios, and gain good tricks and tips on the machine was very helpful to our learning process, and I'm sure they apply the same dedication from our lesson to all of their classes and workshops. They are proficient in their knowledge of the different Orion Welders, and would be a great aid of information and training if you were interested in purchasing or learning about them.

This may not be the best fit for children who are neurodivergent or who require additional stimulation, flexibility, or support. In our experience, the facility did not appear to have the resources, training, or willingness to accommodate children with higher energy levels or diverse developmental needs. It's also important to note that our child's needs and behavior fall well within the range of what medical professionals are considering typical, even if they require a bit more engagement. Families in similar situations may want to ask detailed questions upfront about how such needs are handled on a day-to-day basis. We also encountered inconsistencies that seemed tied to frequent staff turnover. At times, there appeared to be confusion around policies and procedures. For example, medication was administered for a period despite it not aligning with corporate policy, which we later confirmed independently. Situations like this raised concerns about internal communication and oversight. Most difficult, however, was the abruptness with which our child's enrollment ended. There was no meaningful transition or warning, which was especially hard given the relationships he had built. He still asks about his friends, and it has been a challenging adjustment. We understand that private facilities have broad discretion in these matters, but we hope to see more thoughtful approaches in the future--particularly when it comes to supporting children with varying needs and handling transitions in a way that minimizes emotional impact. Children deserve care environments that are prepared to meet them where they are. For clarity, we are not seeking a response from the facility. Our intention in sharing this experience in case it resonates and is simply to help inform other families as they evaluate whether this environment will meet their child's needs.

We couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism, attention to detail, curriculum and commitment to it. The teachers are loving with the kids, but also teach them discipline and prepare them for kindergarten. We are very happy with the friendships, social skills, and progress academically that we see with our kids since they started there. Management is responsive and present daily.

I personally attended Montessori as a child and felt immediately at home when we initially toured AMS in 2022 for our then almost three yr old. We ended up taking a mid-year spot days after he turned 3 and were welcomed into the school and immediately felt like we'd found the perfect place. Our son was shy at first and the teachers and staff worked with him (and us) to ease into a preschool environment. We have always had wonderful experiences with the staff at AMS, great teachers and admin. My kids are always so well cared for and look forward to going. My son was more than prepared for the transition to public school both socially and academically. Watching him learn to read at AMS has been a huge part of this, I felt like part of the journey as the teachers led us all through the journey of becoming a reader. As a parent volunteer at the school, I always feel welcomed and helpful. It's really special to be able to go into the classroom and see the magic happen. I've found friends in the other parents either through play dates with our kids and school events. The community is incredibly special and I feel lucky to be part of it along with my kids. We've been part of the school for 5 years through both kids and I have had my own transitions from being a mostly stay at home mom, to working part time, and working full time. AMS easily supported our family through each of these. We started as a half day family and then transitioned to full time and then added in aftercare. Everything was seamless with each of these transitions for us as parents and for our kids. Thank you AMS for being the perfect preschool for our family.

From our perspective, this may not be an ideal environment for children who need flexibility, extra engagement, or a more individualized approach. We did not see a willingness to adapt to different developmental needs. Our child's behavior falls within the range that medical professionals consider typical, though he benefits from a more attentive and responsive setting. Parents in similar situations may want to have detailed conversations in advance about how the program supports children who don't immediately fit a standard mold. A major issue for us was how quickly conclusions were reached. Within just three days, we were told our child would no longer be able to attend due to being labeled a "safety issue." This felt both sudden and inconsistent with some of the positive feedback we had already received. Based on our experience and input from professionals that know him well, that label did not accurately reflect who he is or how he typically behaves. Equally concerning was the lack of any real dialogue. We were not invited to problem-solve, discuss observations in depth, or put a plan in place to support a smoother adjustment. For many children, especially in a new environment, a short transition period and some collaboration between caregivers and families can make a meaningful difference. That opportunity simply wasn't offered here. We recognize that childcare providers ultimately make decisions they believe are necessary for their programs, particularly in the private sector. It is an unfortunate reality in the private Pre-K/Daycare industry. Our intent is to eventually bring some change and encourage a more measured and collaborative approach for future children--particularly when evaluating a child over such a short period and making decisions that can have a real emotional impact. We're sharing this experience only to give other families additional context as they consider whether this environment will be a good fit for their child.

It was advertised as a professional production but seem to be more amateurish with little planning. The same goes for the food as welll. We tried to find out what the menu would be by contacting the cattier directly. They explained they were busy and would not know what the menu would be until the day before. Now we think we know why. It was probably what was left over from the previous week that know one wanted. A brown and a green curry chicken other than the color they tasted the same. An over dressed wilted salad and red velvet cupcakes that should have been thrown out days before

Asheville Drag Brunch does a great job when they put on a production! I have seen a number of…read moreperformances and they never let me down. Each show has a different menu, so it is hard to rate the food. I have had Biscuit Head Brunch, Sweet Monkey Catering, and even their own catering from "Divine's Kitchen" which is a southern meal of BBQ! I have never been disappointed, there is always enough food to go around and the people serving the food are always helpful and kind! I will continue to go to Asheville Drag Brunch events, plus they are all fundraisers for local charities. I love following their page and going to events that fundraise for things I support- a show, food, and donation is well worth the 25 dollars you pay!

Durrant Farms Estate offers brunch with alpacas. It is no longer hosted inside of it but is hosted…read morenext to the pasture with bookings available from 8:30AM-4:30PM from April to October. The setup was cute, we started off with pastries, snacks, juice and coffee. Luckily during our visit three of the alpacas came down so we fed them snacks and chatted with one of the staff members. After that we walked around the pond then purchased a few items that they sold. I would have been disappointed if the alpacas did not come down during our visit so I could say this experience is hit or miss.
