For a small town store they have a large inventory for everything from "soup" to nuts in the hardware world. When you walk into this business don't be surprised if you are greeted with a welcoming smile and called by your name. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. I love being able to get what I need there as opposed to driving all the way to the big box hardware stores and it is rare that they don't have what you need, from clothing to tools to lawn and garden supplies and parts for just about anything. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They know the items they carry and exactly where to find them. Aisle are clearly marked with street signs so if they can't take you to find an item, they give you exact directions on where you can find it. Best of all, this business supports the local community by partnering with a local business to grow food which is then donated to a community kitchen to feed the hungry right here in our town, and these are our neighbors who might otherwise be going to bed hungry. So yes, there are times when I know I could get what I'm looking for elsewhere at a lower price, but I choose to support this small business which supports our community by helping feed the hungry, supporting our local theatre and scouting groups, and sponsors ladies night at the hardware store and other events. I love this place!

Used to work at Lowe's. Not a good experience at all. Employees are not encouraged/allowed to…read moregive excellent customer service but more often encouraged to obfuscate any customer issues. The quality of all appliances, generators, power tools, lawn and garden etc. are not 1st quality that you would expect if you bought straight from the manufacturer, usually 2nd tier. I have personal experience with a $12,000.00 generator that quit after 19 hours. Was supposed to last a bit longer, all hours were from weekly cycling. Generac refused to replace the whole unit only replaced the motor. Not really satisfactory but was stonewalled after that. Lowe's saw no responsibility. I would encourage everyone to think twice before purchasing from Lowe's. All big box stores are the same, in my opinion and experience.

Actually there is one in this small, beautiful town! It's a testament to the local home folks for supporting their hometown businesses! I went in there looking for some cloth hand towels. The very kind and helpful lady in charge told me they didn't have any. That was a bit of a surprise to me because they seemed to have an abundance of everything! Not only hardware but also a huge selection of yard art and other display pieces. Like I said; this place is most definitely a throwback in time and its unusual! Even though they didn't have what I needed ; I loved the experience! The store owner ( an older guy like myself) decided to escort me around his near perfect hardware business. He explained each item that I was interested in with knowledge and precision. Absolutely no pressure to buy anything at all. As he described each item it was with a passion like he was talking about an old friend! He had a ton of nice stuff and it was priced fairly and competitive with big box places! I don't recall ever being treated more nicely anywhere! I highly recommend!
