So first let me say make an appointment if you want to get assistance with your project. This place while a showroom isn't like your typical store that associates are just waiting for you to come in. I had seen some stuff online via Ferguson's website, but I wanted to actually chat with a person in real life about my proposed project so in that way I could walk through what I was looking for and wanted. We worked with Darin who was fantastic btw! My husband and I sort of went through with what I was looking for which included plumbing fixatures for two bathrooms and a chandelier for our foyer. He was great gave us different options at different price points also he helped figure out what I was trying to explain (I told him I don't know all of the technical names of the things, but he was able to decipher) and help us think through what we needed. Darin super knowledgeable! Now a few other points of advice if you are a first timer, pictures of what you want to do helpful even if they are inspo photos, if you've got space measurements even better. Also, if you are thinking of changing out plumbing perhaps having your preferred plumber come out to give you an idea of materials required for your project (I opted to do it in reverse). read more

Truth is you can buy everything Ferguson carries from Home Depot online--including the same Amerock pulls--get a military discount, and return items in-store WITHOUT paying shipping fees. However, just because this is a "Showroom," don't expect that anyone from Ferguson will be available to help you if you walk in off the street. Instead, if you expect to get any help, you must schedule an appointment. Ferguson has yet to figure out - that if they are so busy and that walk ins are getting turned away - they are throwing money down the toilet. I had money to spend on light fixtures - and Ferguson won't be getting that cash. Actually cared about what he did but the staff now barely wanted to help and the young lady who stared at me like I had 2 heads at 4:50, was more concerned about leaving at 5 than answering a simple question. A big piece of making a home remodel or having work done is setting up timelines and getting everything to line up appropriately. This helps the entire situation be less stressful. This is where customer service and a good representative is very helpful. And this is where Ferguson failed. The Mister and I made an appointment on a Saturday with Arissa to discuss adding in a wet bar to our basement. The whole appointment, she was so disengaged. As our appointment was ending, we had to ask if we could get a counter top, sink and faucet. It was like pulling teeth to get her to add these to the order. As we're still shopping, we see her running out the door leaving for the day. Guess the positive is she wasn't trying to upsell us anything that's for sure! So, we leave confused about what happens next. During our consultation that day, we asked if the flooring goes in first, or the cabinets. We got a "doesn't really matter". Well, fast forward 3 weeks when the cabinets are ready to deliver, and we get an email asking if our floors are in. What!?! We were waiting on YOU! Next starts the panic trying to find a flooring company who can install tiles ASAP. Once tiles get in, we scheduled delivery of the cabinets and the counter top installation. Then I sent an email during the cabinet scheduling: "Are we set for the counter top install on the 10th? I want to get the plumber scheduled after to hook up the sink" The response from Arissa: "Yes, we are confirmed for the 10th!" Based on that response, one would reasonably assume the counter tops are getting INSTALLED on the 10th!! So, I schedule a friend to come stay at the house so I don't have to take any further vacation days from work. I get home the evening of the 10th, and find out the counter top guys only MEASURED. Not Installed. Now, I'm in a panic, because I have the plumber scheduled and back splash tilers coming based on the counter top installation. Arissa's response to my panic was laughable. She said they always measure first and they were coming a week later to actually install. She assumed I understood the process. Never, ever in the email exchanges, or initial meeting at Ferguson were 2 dates for counter tops ever discussed. The only date was INSTALL. So, of course I had to push all the other appointments back and take of more vacation time from work. Maybe some of the other reps are better at Ferguson. But I would never recommend Arissa. She made the whole process more confusing and stressful than it had to be. read more

Their products look good, but customer service is horrible! I called ahead to ask if I can just stop by without making an appointment because I wasn't exactly sure what time I would be in that area. Lady on the phone told me absolutely no problem. When I arrived and was looking good 20 minutes no one came to greet me or ask if I need help. So I asked myself if I can talk to someone about remodeling my kitchen and bath. The response was no, I need to make an appointment first. There were 3 other employees that I saw there who weren't doing anything , just wondering around, only a few other customers in the store. So they obviously weren't busy, plus I called ahead. Worst Customer Service Ever Precious wanted to replace a lighting fixture in the foyer. She had ordered something online, but when it came, it didn't look as good as she thought it was going to look. So we tried to find a showroom somewhere in the area. We went to this place. They have a nice showroom. Oh it's nice. They have chandeliers and lights and toilets and baths and shower stalls and all kinds of nice appliances. They don't sell cheap junk at this place either. Everything was very nice. The only problem is that the customer service just tanks to the extent that it's just not worth it. It's really that bad. Precious found something that she liked, and she ordered it. It came with a part missing. No big deal. Well, that would otherwise be no big deal at all for any other appliance outlet on the face of the earth, but evidently it was too much of a challenge for this place. At first we couldn't get a return call. We called the salesman and left messages. We called the receptionist who gave us his email address. It was just a little silver colored screw cap. We took a picture of it showing where the piece was missing from and we took a picture from the internet of what the missing piece looks like and emailed it to the salesman. Then the guy sent us an extra set of parts. We weren't missing the assembly parts. A piece of the actual lamp itself was missing. So we tried to explain it to the guy, and he did actually get it. He said that he was going to take the part off of the display model. But he didn't. We had to drive there to pick up the little screw cap. When when we got there, we had to wait for a few minutes so we went to see the display model. I noticed that all the parts were intact. Evidently, I thought to myself, they found the part from somewhere else and didn't need to cannibalize the display model. Good for them. When we got back, we realized that it was the wrong size. It was too big. It didn't screw onto the screw. They cheesed us. The guy said he was going to take the part from the display model. The display model was intact so he was lying to us. They cheesed us. OH!!! This was after two weeks of back and forth. And then when we returned it, they wouldn't even credit our credit card. They credited it to our Ferguson's account. I didn't even know we HAD a Ferguson's account. We have to call the accounting department if we want an actual refund. That is so pathetic. read more

This place is a nightmare to deal with. I have never experienced such apathetic customer service. Visited them to place an $8,000 appliance order and the sales people just do not follow-up with you. Repeated emails are required to get a response and move the process forward. Sent my unanswered emails to their customer service team and the general manager, and they also went unanswered. I have never worked so hard to get someone to take my business. Took six weeks for them to place my order, and now a month later we are still waiting for delivery. You have been warned. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would!! My husband and I were advised to come to Ferguson by our kitchen contractor to look for appliances. We stopped by the front desk and spoke with a lady- she was very courteous and directed us on our way. Once in the kitchen area we were looking around and talking about the appliances. I saw at least 4 Ferguson employees sitting at their desks- not one came to attend to us. We went back to the receptionist at the front desk who told us we needed to schedule an appointment with John, who was on a phone consultation and unavailable. We continued looking around and at some point someone gave us a pager. So back in the kitchen appliance area the Ferguson employee, John, is on the phone. We heard him talking about "beer- thirty" and clearly making social plans. He also made another personal call while we were very clearly waiting for someone to help for about 30 mins. I will also give this feedback to my contractor and will not return to Ferguson. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences we've encountered in years. We're about to begin a kitchen renovation and are in the market for quality appliances and fixtures. However, Ferguson will not receive our business. The sales associates displayed undeserved arrogance (it was like they were trying reenact the shopping scene from 'Pretty Woman') and the attendants at the front door were more concerned discussing their debauchery-filled Vegas vacation than acknowledge our presence. Bought a tub and drain from them, but when we tried to return the unused/ unopened $200 drain, was told they just needed to look it over and should be able to refund us. A month after not hearing from them took me 3 times to get a hold of someone just to be told that the return was denied and to come pick up the drain. The lady at the front desk greeted us when we walked in and asked if we had any questions and if she could be of any help to us. On our way out we asked if she could give us any information about financing etc...She didn't have any knowledge about anything we asked. She had a mean look and kept repeating if we wanted an appointment. I respect elders and I personally would keep the lady as employee but, she certainly needs some training. We were in the store for 2 hours and no one asked us if we needed any help. I had a budget of 35,000$ to spend on my new kitchen. Ferguson's has a great showroom with lots of terrific options on just about anything your house's interior would need. In particular, the service from Christopher Norfolk was very impressive. He was not only very helpful, he also showed a lot of patience as we went through the process of making a lot of choices. And his follow up was always timely and impeccable. After reading the reviews I went In expecting a bad experience but I was very pleasantly surprised. My contractor sent me here to get two valves. I went in on a weekday to inquire about them and then back on a sat to pick them up. Not only was the service great but I arrived just as the warehouse portion closed but the sales rep said that they would still get someone to sell them to me that day so I could bring them home. The valves themselves are great quality and my contractor liked that. The showroom was clean and bright and the sales reps were very professional and the entire experience was great. We are going to be redoing the kitchen soon and I will absolutely be going back. read more

large showroom of many bath, kitchen, lighting options, etc. and somewhat similar to Home Depot's EXPO design centers. as Lynn S. said, definitely make an appointment if you would like to meet with someone ahead of time, especially if you want to work with a kitchen designer. only complaint is that if you're doing a full kitchen renovation you have to make at least two separate appointments - one with a kitchen designer and one with an appliance expert. would prefer to go over everything all at once to come up with a cohesive plan without spending hours upon hours or make multiple visits if schedules don't mesh. other complaint is that it was kind of difficult setting up these appointments as I got bounced around with different receptionists and departments when trying to get my call directed. TIP: make sure to look for promotion posters when you walk in and grab some fresh chocolate chip cookies that they serve at the welcome desk. read more

A Frustrating Experience Replacing the fixtures in my bathroom was time consuming and frustrating due to a lack of communication between me and the salesperson. I had questions that remained unanswered. There were features of the fixtures that she was not aware of. Our timeline for our bathroom moved up and we needed fixtures asap. We walked in and received a pager, waited 5 min and was able to see Monica. She was great. She helped us order everything we needed and gave us diff price point options. After we choose everything it was all delivered to our house in 2 days. We did check out prices on line and everything was comparable. Monica also helped us again with our second bathroom and was great. All the negative reviews almost stopped us from going to Fergusons but glad we did in the end. read more

I sincerely wish I had reviewed all the woeful experiences shared here. I was directed to Ferguson's by our builder and we complied. We were looking to purchase appliances, plumbing and electric fittings for the whole house that we just built. Now, we look back and regret having chosen to buy appliances at this store. The customer service provided by the rep assigned to us was poor, to out it mildly. The response times were so slow and appointments would take several weeks to get scheduled. After the order was placed in early October and the funds transmitted, we were completely forgotten. There was no follow up or response to queries seeking updates on delivery schedule. After much persuasion, we got an email update on the delivery schedule, listing several items as back ordered. For a house ready for move in, we are notified of appliances that would be delivered in Jan 2021...! We have lost all our hope with the store and are hoping they would accept our order cancellation and refund our money! Folks, deal with them at your own risk. Things cant get worse! read more

But then, one day, a rep came to see me in my place of work, to present extraordinary tiles, from Spain, that I hadn't heard of; Vives Ceramica. This company had just brought Vives to Metro DC, and I fell in love, urging the rep to place many samples in our showroom. Next, I found out they, GROF USA, were building the first of many Kohler Signature Stores, starting in Bethesda. I love Ferguson, high prices and all. But once I learned I could send my clients to an alternative distributor of Kohler, I went to look at their showroom. Well..... I was so impressed with this Caribbean Hotel Development company, which is also a Solutions Supply company, that I couldn't think of a better place to hang my design hat. I joined GROF USA, located right across from the Chantilly Ferguson. I'll always send my clients to Ferguson, for everything but Kohler. They are the most elite for a reason. They're not snobby, they're just very busy with their clientele However, for exquisite tile, Vives Ceramica is it! For exceptional prices on Kohler, GROF USA is it! I'll get into the stunning interior doors from Vicenza, Italy and the supreme cabinetry from Tuscany, Italy, when you come to see us after your visit to Ferguson. read more

Overpriced and not a lot of inventory in stock. If you order something and it doesn't fix/work/go with what you are doing there is a 25% restocking fee, so on a $1,000 order if you have to return it, it still cost you $250. Will not go there again. There are much better options locally. read more

I wish I read these reviews before going! Everything after the sale was a disaster. Our sales person was unresponsive and completely unapologetic for messing everything up. We were charged for a $1799 sink we didn't order because they would not ship it. The refund got screwed up, they refunded the wrong amount (less of course) and correcting it required additional time and effort -- actually still waiting for this to be resolved. Still have not received an item we have purchased and I am dreading the crazy that it will take to straighten that out. I would go look at options there and buy it somewhere else for less. I saved close to $500 on the sink they would not ship. I am adding more with new found Ferguson incompetence. They sent us two soap dispensers and charged us for both. They are holding our sink refund hostage until we return the second soap dispenser. What does that say about how they respect their customers. I am completely livid. read more

I ordered appliances and had the worst experience with Jon. Customer service was awful. I had to follow up several times as my phone calls were not returned. I was told things would be delivered on a certain day and they didn't deliver. I had to email and call to get updates several times. I was told about a discontinued item the day it was supposed to be delivered. Another item was delivered very very late came in damaged and they are refusing to replace it. I had to contact subzero directly and I am still waiting for this to be resolved. When I asked to speak with the manager hoping she would make things right. She had worse customer service skills than her employee. which is the reason why I had to contact subzero direct. I was so surprised with my experience that I felt the need to let people know so they don't go through the same very expensive mistake I made. After reading many of the reviews, I wish I had checked here first, I would have saved myself money, time and aggravation. read more

Poor service on numerous occasions! Came in on Saturday and waited in line for rep. I have no problem with their process, you know what it is when you don't make an appointment. However once I was matched with a rep it was horrible service from the start. All I wanted was a shower and upscale tub to be installed or purchased so I could get someone to install them. After bumbling around for most our time on the Ferguson system to "customize" our project, she gave up because she admitted the floor plan program was "crap and never can give you what you want". So, we looked at some displays and picked out a tub and shower. Well, she wasn't able to give us a quote on the shower but reassured us that she would contact us by email....3 days and nothing, so I sent a courtesy email...1 week and nothing, so I called to see if I could talk with her, after being on hold for 20 mins someone picked up the phone and hung up. 2 weeks later still no call back or email. I will never go to Ferguson for a project and if asked, I will advise anyone not to waste your time. They make you feel like you are dealing with a used car dealer and that you are wasting their time and "commission" if it is not worth their time. read more
