We hired CKB to paint the first floor of our "new" house we just bought - a 1970s townhome with plenty of crown molding and chair rail! But once we scheduled the appointment with CKB, lots of other projects popped up with our old, new house: knocking pipes when the hot water is on, an old fireplace mantle with water damage behind it, a wall-mounted tv that the previous owners stuck right into flammable insulation. But it didn't matter! Quinn, Cherie, and Carlos completed our whole list within ONE WEEK and within our budget. The team painted everything from ceilings to baseboards and covered up the previous yellow and navy blue paint! They completely replaced the damaged drywall behind our brick fireplace and installed a new electrical outlet for the wall mounted tv, in addition to adding fireproof insulation! And they fixed our knocking pipes by cutting into our walls and spray foaming around the culprits. Totally professional and on time every day. It was great! Quinn and Co have worked with us in the past on a Master Bath remodel. So, when we had a water leak resulting in moderate water damage to 1/4 of the basement and some insurance proceeds, we decided to contact CK&B to revisit the basement layout and modernize things a bit. Primary emphasis was a layout that could evolve over time and recapturing some floorspace. Start to finish was 3-4 weeks. This included tearing out popcorn ceiling, wiring in ~11 new recessed lights, new flooring, new kitchenette, small updates to a guest bathroom, painting all the things (including a chalkboard 1/3 wall) and a redesigned fascia for our fireplace. It also included a "secret room" for the kiddo that Quinn took on as a personal project, as we've been juggling complex medical issues for a few years. Needless to say that resulted in a lot of smiles and it has been getting a ton of use. The plywood in the secret room is 3/4" and we plan to add some rock climbing grips to it in the future. Pearl and Monica were easy to communicate with and any issues (ex: some painting needed to be revisited) were handled promptly. They were very flexible with pricing and really went out of their way to make this work for us. I'm deeply appreciative of the work they did for our child and the flexibility they demonstrated with some of my last-minute design tweaks. This is an easy recommend from me. read more

They asked for and received from me a few pictures in Email. At the time scheduled, Quinn and a young lady (Cherie? I don't know) came to the house. He came across as confident, but almost overly so - or maybe that's just me. Anyway, I also asked about new flooring. I reached out to about 10 different companies for kitchen remodel estimates and basically gave up. None of the companies could do what we wanted, either because of cost or expertise because of a new window. We also had some tricky elements to work around such as an air intake and soffit with a header in it. Absolutely in love with the end result of both our hallway and master bathrooms. They worked nonstop from start to finish and came on time each day of the project. Communication is the most important thing to me and there was never a time where we were left in the dark. They do amazing work! We had our kitchen and master bathroom remodeled by Chantilly Kitchen & Bath. Neither room had any major updates since the house was built in 1992. Quinn and his team gave us the dream kitchen and bathroom that we've always wanted... and then some! Right from the start, it was a fantastic experience. Quinn took time to really talk through what we were looking for so that he could get the layout that worked best for us. We wanted to completely get rid of our tub in the bathroom, remove the old shower, and create a very large shower on the other side of the room. So, it wasn't just a little facelift. Catherine helped us pick out all of the items for our kitchen and bathroom - cabinets, counters, tile, paint, faucets, etc. She made wonderful suggestions based on what we liked, and she was very attentive and patient throughout all of our indecisiveness. I ended up falling in love with a very specific bathroom accent tile, and she went and hunted down the countertop that would bring the whole bathroom together. Without her help, we would have been completely lost. The team that worked in our house was professional, polite, efficient, and meticulous. My husband peppered them with questions throughout the process about how to do random things, and they took the time to answer and show him how to do them. Quinn and Catherine both came by frequently to check on the progress throughout the entire project. Also, after the project was complete, they followed up with us to make sure we were happy and there were no problems. They didn't just disappear after the project was done. Quinn and Catherine really guided us through the entire process; we never felt overwhelmed or unsure. Chantilly Kitchen and Bath is a great company with great people, and they do amazing work. We had our outdated 1993 kitchen remodeled this past September-October. The entire job took about 3 1/2 weeks, from demolition to final touch-ups (and that included refinishing our hardwood floors). We couldn't be happier with the end result. Catherine was great. She provided us with design recommendations and oversaw the initial stages of the job. Once Quinn was back he took over the day-to-day management. He truly cares about his employees and customers. Miguel, the foreman, was great. The three-man team was very experienced, able to handle all demo, run new electrical, do the plumbing work, etc. At one point they found a small leak in a water pipe behind the drywall while doing electrical work, and replaced the section of pipe, no questions asked. Subcontractors were used for installing the counters and refinishing the floors. The advantage of using one turn-key company like CKB is that they work on your job every day from start to finish ... there is no working a couple days, going to another job, then coming back to your job, etc. Also, the work is perfectly timed as to not lose time in the overall schedule. For example, the day the cabinets were installed the counter subcontractor came out to measure. Two days later the counters were installed. As soon as the counters were put in the backsplash was installed. This company ensures that the finished work is to your satisfaction and they won't be done until you are happy. We are so thrilled with our new kitchen! CKB took our dated, closed in, and weathered original 1958 kitchen to a beautiful open space that our family loves. Working with Quinn and his team was professional and seamless. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project the communication and responsiveness CKB was above and beyond our expectations. We settled on a design for our kitchen after an initial home consultation and then finalized the details at their Chantilly showroom during an in person meeting. When some structural issues came up when gutting the original kitchen, CKB addressed them promptly and ensured that our new kitchen was brought up to safety code. I had several contractors come out and provide me with Quotes for a kitchen remodel. I was recommended I contact Chantilly Kitchen and Bath (CKB) when I sought out contractors for my kitchen remodel (to start in January 2017). I am very happy I listened to my neighbors. Quinn and his team from CKB were very easy to work with and, although we had a couple of hiccups during the project (which anyone who is doing a remodel can expect) CKB handled it professional. I never felt ignored and CKB was always in contact. It is easier for me to communicate with them during the day via email. The CKB team was comfortable communicating via phone or email. I also always knew what days the team was going to show up (and they never did not show up when they said they would). I never felt like I was being taken advantage of during my project; and, in fact felt that CKB did their very best to stay to the original Quote. I also want to say that Quinn was so professional when I gave him my budget. I understood it was not super high but felt that it was reasonable. Quinn and CKB worked with me to make sure the remodel could be done within my budget. (I understood. I was not going to get everything I wanted. However my "new" kitchen hadn't been remodeled since the 1970s; and, I felt anything would be an improvement from what I had bought in July 2016.) I had several of the other contractors who were not willing to work within my budget. In fact a couple of the contractors I contacted decided not to show up to look at the space after I gave them my budget (again it wasn't a huge budget but it at one point in my life was close to an entire year's salary so not insignificant.) I also liked the fact the CKB asks for their money in stages (so you only pay except for a small deposit relative to the total project) when something was completed. In a nutshell, I would recommend CKB. I am considering using them in the future. My only tip is that Quinn and his team do book up. If you have a project and a time frame I recommend you contact CKB a couple weeks or months before you want to get started. read more

Our undermount stainless steel kitchen sink became detached from the counter top. We contacted Quinn and he immediately responded. He sent one of his crew over the next day. The young man knew exactly what to do and secured the sink. He showed me where the clips had been installed improperly and no silicone had been used. Over time running the garbage disposal- the sink became loose. He made sure it was properly secured. We so appreciated his knowledge and expertise. When we decide to have 2 of our bathrooms remodeled we will be contacting Chantilly Kitchen and Bath!! Great company, great support and great follow up!! read more
