The staff here is usually pretty good and on top of the last trends. I am always able to find help and get answer to my questions. The store set up is really good. They are always busy for sure. I will say I am not a fan of the independent sales rep that is here. I always seem to get hot by that one persistent one that understands the word no and keeps following me around the store asking me questions about my cell service or whatever. But overall I like it here. I also have dealt with their Geek Squad and was impressed by my service they really got what I was talking about and was able to help me. Overall I would recommend this store.

During this time, I learned that not everyone likes a do-it-yourself like me. Some even said I wanted, "free work." Not true! However, the current installed prices spoke to me. I grabbed my tools! Pulling a local permit as a home owner/builder in Florida, I installed a 2 ton (24k) ACIQ-24-HP32 condenser and ACIQ-24-AH32 air handler, and related mechanical. This system replaced a 26 year old 1.5 ton (18K) Trane XE-1000 condenser and TWGO18A air handler that was showing its age -- like me. One of my main hardware vendors, HVAC direct, patiently worked with me as I learned the new system requirements. With help from Isaiah Luke Appliance Repair to do the final commissioning of the system, the new ACIQ inverter system passed local inspection! The new system is a noticeably quieter and produces considerable heat split by comparison with the previous system. The fact that the ACIQ has a higher BTU rating, (24K) a higher seer rating (18), and yet uses smaller breakers, 30A down to 25A on the outside unit and 30 down to 15 amps for the inside unit and doesn't dim my lights when it runs, says it all. However, when I received my refund it was only $18, I had paid $71, that was quite a charge for return S&H. I had shopped at BB&B all my adult life until they closed all retail stores, was always a great place to shop. But my first purchase through their mail order business has been a disgusting experience. I will never purchase from BB&B again and strongly urge everyone to avoid buying from this mail order business as their customer service is terrible.
