I wanted to say that I loved them, they have wonderful product, but their sales is really hit or miss. Our first time buying from them their lighting person was great, she had wonderful opinions and recommendations for us. The plumbing area we have had nothing but problems, and them blaming us or saying they do not stand behind warranties. We have returned the tub multiple times due to issues, and when we found our most recent issue on it, they said that since it was started to being installed then they can't take it back, even though it is a quality issue. What a horrible company. One of there drivers was driving recklessly on MN hwy 65. Going 10+ over the speed limit, not only did they almost my dad's truck, but also someone up ahead of us. If i could give Ferguson's one less star, I would. I drove up to the Golden Valley showroom from Edina based on a recommendation from my architect to check out the showroom. While Ferguson's does have a nice assortment of middle to very high-end products, (In particular, I was looking for a natural stone tub manufactured by MTI or Native Trail, as well as all the fixtures, toilets, lighting, hardware, cabinets, and sinks necessary to complete TWO gut bath renovations in my home). I arrived at opening and was the first and only customer for the first fifteen minutes, and I actually climbed in and sat down in some of the floor model tubs I had found online to see if they were comfortable or not. At no time did anyone say hello or even acknowledge my presence, even though there were THREE employees milling about and pretending not to see me. (Remember, I was CLIMBING INTO and LAYING DOWN in their showroom bathtubs while they very clearly were ignoring me!!!) Although I did find almost everything I was looking for, (my designer came in and joined me sometime later) I found the customer service so abysmally poor that I could not with good conscience justify giving them my business. Believe what you read both here and in the google reviews regarding their historical and longstanding atrocious customer service coupled with numerous, repetitive corresponding apologies by management promising to change or re-train their employees . read more

My husband and I are in the final stages of planning our bathroom remodels and kitchen remodel, and worked with Ferguson to select new toilets, sinks, and faucets for 4 bathrooms and new sinks and faucets for our kitchen. Our project is delayed by at least a month because of lack of communication on Ferguson's part. We have contacted 3 or 4 different people there and still have not received our final selection packet, nor any acknowledgement that it is delayed. We are prepared to start from scratch and go somewhere else if our designer's contact at another location does not come through. We definitely do not recommend going to Ferguson. read more

I bought a complete set of kitchen appliances through my contractor using Ferguson. We ordered 2 months ahead of the project and so they did have everything when our remodel was ready. A problem occurred when they found they had wired my expensive new stove with a 4 wire plug instead of a 3 wire. It's a simple fix, someone needs to come out with a new cable with a 3 wire plug (available everywhere) and spend 15 minutes installing the new cable. So the stove arrived last 5 days ago and I still can't get any estimate of when they'll fix it. My contractor has just gotten the "Well, we need to get that on the schedule", a comment that is pure BS. Ferguson has decent prices but no customer service. Don't buy from them if you expect any kind of decent response to problems. I'm sitting here with an $80 inductive cooktop on top of my $5000 stove that can't be plugged in. I'm sure Molly will chime in with some kind of BS excuse as she has done with numerous other reviews. In spite of her brilliance with "dog ate my homework" excuses, nothing can make up for Ferguson's lack of customer service. read more

I had an appt today with Katie Davenport to choose plumbing fixtures. My son and I went to the wrong location so we ended up being 15 minutes late for what was supposed to be a 2 hour appt. We called on our way and left word with the receptionist who informed us she was currently on the showroom floor. 5 minutes later when we arrived the receptionist let us know Katie was on a phone call. I walked round the showroom for 30 minutes waiting for Katie to arrive. I went back and asked the receptionist what was keeping Katie and if she could check on her. She did but instead of seeking me out on the showroom floor she just went back to her desk. I went over to see what she'd found out and she said Katie was still on the phone . I said that was unacceptable, to which the receptionist replied "don't shoot the messenger" and added Katie didn't know I had an appt. I'm not sure how that could be when I'd made it in January and had 2 confirmation emails from Ferguson. I replayed all the information I'd originally given her - the appt was for 2pm, I understood we were late but we'd called, she'd said she was on the showroom floor but that she'd let her know we were on our way etc. This receptionist, who should never be the front for any company with her attitude could have cared less that I was there or upset at being treated so indifferently. Katie never called me to apologize but I did get a 'thank you for visiting Ferguson' email 15 minutes later. I left a similar review in reply to that as well. Honestly, I had 3 bathrooms and a kitchen we are remodeling so I was planning to spend a significant amount of money here. I'm taking my business to Montagios. Do not. Just don't. Service is condescending. If (when) there is a problem with your order, you are bounced from person to person and never get answers. While they treat you like they are selling a life saving serum you must have to live, they are selling lights. And you can get those a million other places that will likely not screw up your order and then ignore you once that happens. If your contractor chooses this, politely decline for your sanity. It's approaching a 1 star rating. Unfortunately for us our builder uses Ferguson to provide appliances. They really shouldn't as it's reflecting poorly on them. Like others it was a pleasant first visit but follow up was either slow or non-existent. We waited well more than a week for a simple price quote of some of the appliances we looked at, which came in 25% above our allowance which they were aware of. When I asked for a list of other options for refrigerators I was sent only 3 models and confirmed that was it. However when I looked at the manufacturers' websites there were at least 12 models of similar features in the price range I requested. Do they carry them or not? I have no idea. When I asked if they carried Samsung or LG (since I want to do research on every option) I was told to watch out for "those import models". Is this 1980? Are we not a global economy? Why would an "import" be a problem compared to poor quality domestic products? I don't see how that is even relevant to the decision. I am looking for options to not use Ferguson to provide appliances for our new house. I hope our builder will work with us to do so. They picked a bad partner. read more

We stopped by Ferguson to pick out our appliances for our home we are building. We had an appointment with one of their salespeople that was as friendly as can be and truly exemplified what an old fashioned sales person is. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The showroom at Ferguson was wonderful and had so much to choose from. The reason for the low review was that the salesperson told us that they were going to send over pricing for all our selections to our builder and it's been more than a week and haven't seen anything yet. It could've been a fluke for timeliness, I would still recommend stopping by if you need to make home selections. read more

Putting in a new spa bathroom and excited that my contractor brought me here. Picked out some really nice pieces - things generally not available in the big box stores... sinks, faucets, shower and bath hardware... and then the wait... and the wait... unanswered calls... finally, under deadline, they got someone to price my order but couldn't answer questions... placed the order and, when it finally came in, the warehouse guys were just the opposite. Great Servce, attentive and on the phone to answer questions. Even gave me $100 off for my frustrations with the showroom help. Dyslexia in the ordering department. We have done two bathrooms and have now lost count of the number of errors that were made in model numbers for equipment. These errors were time consuming, disrupting and meant that the installed project took much longer and even then did not match what we intended. Buying appliance was no problem. Happy to take $. Problem. Over 1 month since we moved into new home. Need Freezer door replaced as it was damaged. Something wrong with dishwasher door handle. A screw fell out someplace from the top of oven first time I used it. Glad it didn't get baked in the cake for grandchildren. Still waiting. Last week they promised to call me right back. The phone never rang. This week there going to call me right back. Problem getting service in Elk River. Than why sell product here? We're not in the moon. This is unacceptable. read more

Built a new home and our builder has appliances provided from this Supplier. Moved in new home and realized the fridge was not holding temp. Lowered temp as some models are a bit different, went grocery shopping and within a couple days milk was turning funky. Bought a therm. and fridge was 69 degrees inside. $400 worth of groceries in the trash. Came to repair and could not fix. Would maybe need new circuit board and not sure that would do the job. (family of four living out of my kids dorm fridge for a month) After exhausted arguing and appts new fridge finally installed. Second-Three attempts to fix brand new washer that is part of the package and it takes two washes per load to get water out of load to put in dryer thus almost two hours per load in the washer alone per time. Telling them I no longer wish to deal with this washer and would like it replaced as it is supposed to be brand spanking new and in working condition. "We have a process" is all I hear. Love my new home but this experience has put a huge stain on the happiness we had to build and move in. We have not even lived here two months and all I do is spend my time waiting for repair people and calling to get service. No follow through and lack of customer service. Not even 2 hours after I posted my review I got a call for the branch manager after he noticed my review. I am happy to say he was able to take care of my problems and even met me at the warehouse that day to pick up what I needed. He even offered to have my order delivered the next day with no charge if I wanted. I still have 2 items that are not in yet but hopefully will be called when they arrive. I increased my rating because Branch manager Paul was wonderful and took care of me but I only give them 3 stars total as it shouldn't have took a bad yelp review in order for me to get great service. read more

Two AO Smith hot water heaters in 8 years!!!! The replacement one only lasted less than two and a half years!!! But NOBODY seems to care anymore. POSSIBLY you should have informed us of the fact that the replacement new one would not have a full original warranty. Didn't realize you needed to make an appointment. Went with my dad a few weeks ago, after a snow storm the previous day, to order a tub and shower faucet. Waited around for 45 minutes to 1 hour before I could talk with someone in sales. So by the time I did, I already knew what I wanted. The shower faucet I picked out had to be researched as it was showing on their report as discontinued but they would check with manufacturer on Monday. Asked about delivery service and was told that delivery team would call roughly 30 minutes before delivery and they would bring inside house. That was huge since I'm single and might not have the muscle power on hand to do this myself or have help. Officially ordered the product that Monday after learning shower faucet was available but that it would take a few days for it to arrive. I ended up calling 2 weeks after placing order and paying, to inquire about status and was told,oh sorry, you were on a list of people that I needed to call. Delivery was set for the next day but no tracking information was given or time window. Was told that,again, I would receive a call from delivery team. Reached out to sales staff around 11:30 and was told that it should deliver by 1 pm but again, I would be called. 1pm came and went with no call. Reached out again at 2:30pm with no response. Called around 3-3:15 pm and was told it was delivered. I complained that they were to call me so I could get home, I work within 2 miles of home, so I could let them in. The response I received was that I should ask a neighbor, family member or plumber to help. No, I shouldn't. You stated that I would be called when shipment was going to be on the way and that it would be brought into house. Now I have to figure out how to get a tub that I cannot move myself out of my driveway so that it will be sheltered from the weather and not get stolen. read more

Purchase a Wolf range. The installer they use put in the wrong size gas connecting pipe for the range. Also the range was missing 3 deferent parts and the legs were installed backwards, which is more of a Wolf problem than Ferguson's. Finally, Wolf replaced unit and their installer found the mistakes in the original installation. Also, Sales person was not responsive after the sale. read more

The experience started out on the wrong foot with a horrible receptionist. She basically said with no appointment, no one will help me. I jokingly said fine I won't talk with anyone. I also mentioned to her it would be helpful if contractors told their clients this isn't a walk in establishment. She decided to mutter a rude comment under her breath (not too quietly either) as I walked away. Not one to be okay with that I told her I could still hear her. Fine, chalk it up to a horrible hiring decision. I was there to look and make decisions with or without their help. However, not one staff member acknowledged my or my sons presence. I wasn't looking to be talked to or even helped (as I was already told that wouldn't happen) but a simple smile, eye contact or acknowledgment is appreciated. It's called multitasking. All in all, they carry nice things and it is a nice showroom. However, I will take my business elsewhere not worth it due to the staff. read more
