The hallway shower floor is umber matte tile alternated with the same tile just a little more beige. The countertop was through a f&d 3rd party and it looks amazing. I finally tried to pay off the entire amount of my purchase with interest to date today and was told I have to wait until next statement to see what that cost was. Now, not only am I paying the deferred interest that I am fighting and have a case for, but I have to continue to pay more interest on something I tried to pay off today. How does a grown man blatantly steal, lie through his teeth, and operate with zero integrity? Every response he posts to negative reviews is defensive, rude, and dripping with shady behavior. He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. If I can stop even one person from getting screwed the way we did, then at least this disaster serves a purpose.

I hired Flooring Direct Temecula to replace the flooring throughout my home. On June 22, 2026, I signed a contract for laminate flooring and paid the required deposit to pay for materials. The installation began but stopped abruptly after only part of the flooring was installed because there were no remaining materials. What followed was one of the worst customer service nightmares I have ever had. For more than two weeks, the owner, Bill Norris, completely disappeared. My repeated phone calls and text messages went unanswered. I received absolutely no communication explaining why my home had been left in pieces. During that same time: * The installer told me he had not been paid. * The delivery driver told me he could not reach Bill. * A salesperson ( His son Billy) at Flooring Direct Temecula also told me he could not get Bill to answer his calls. Think about that for a moment. Not only could the customer not reach the owner, but his own employees and subcontractors couldn't reach him either. Because no one would communicate with me, I had to investigate the situation myself. I contacted the flooring manufacturer directly and discovered that only part of my flooring order had ever been purchased. The remaining flooring required to finish my home was sitting at the manufacturer because it had never been paid for. As the homeowner, I was told I could not obtain my own flooring because only the contractor could authorize and pay for its release. Meanwhile, my home was left with exposed subfloors, furniture piled everywhere, and rooms that were unusable. No phone call. No explanation. No plan. No concern for the customer. I ultimately had to open a dispute with Chase Visa to protect my money. I also filed felony charges!!!!!!!!!!! Only after I escalated the situation and informed Bill that I was involving the police to document what had happened and finally pressed formal criminal charges did he finally contact me. This entire situation could have been handled differently with honest communication. Instead, I was left chasing answers from installers, delivery drivers, and manufacturers because the person responsible for my project simply disappeared. This wasn't simply a delayed job. This was a complete breakdown in communication and professionalism that left my family living in an unfinished construction zone while we had no idea whether our project would ever be completed. I strongly encourage anyone considering Flooring Direct Temecula to do extensive research, verify everything independently, and understand exactly who is responsible for your project before paying a deposit. Sent pictures of what I had at my current home and some drawings of what I thought would work well in my new home and Paul corresponded his thoughts and some rough estimates. Paul measured everything about 10 times (mark it twice - cut it one) and took a lot of notes. Paul also made it a point to document the design of the kitten cabinets so he could match the doors and drawers on the entertainment center as closely as possible. We sat down and finalized a design and I provided a down payment and off Paul went to build my new entertainment center. Paul expected that it would take about 5 weeks to build and he delivered within the timeframe promised. On installation day Paul arrived on time with he team and went to work installing the unit. Paul's team was extremely cautious about not damaging anything in the home. Lots of tarps and blanket we laid down. More measurements where taken for light switches and outlets and last minuet adjustments were made. About 4 hours later may new entertainment center had been installed and it was awesome. The doors and drawers matched the kitchen cabinets perfectly. Not close... A perfect match. The finish was amazing and color was also a perfect match to everything else in the house. The unit matched the design and accommodated all the components just right. Paul and his team then helped to mount the TV, which was an unexpected bonus and then cleaned up and left me wire and connect all of the equipment.
