It is beautifully decorated in Tuscan style and recently renovated - so it has large bathrooms and showers - very modern and comfortable. The home is located next to a vineyard with views of the hills and valley. The pool overlooks the vineyard and valley and has an infinity edge. There are large outdoor areas to dine and entertain. The villa has the ability to sleep 12 very comfortable with ample privacy. When we arrived, we were greeted by Asia, the concierge, Lucia and Antonella - the ladies who took care of the villa and cooked for us. These 3 ladies not only took GREAT care of us, but they are so nice and have such warm / wonderful personalities, they soon became part of our family. Cocceto is a very special place in and of itself, but it was the effort put out by Asia, Lucia, and Antonella that made it stand out as our favorite vacation place ever! I would not hesitate to highly recommend Podere Cocceto to anyone traveling to Tuscany.

With a living room that also serves as a dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, a comfy king-size bed and a clean and functional bathroom, this bright and spacious house has everything you need and can very comfortably host up to 4 people. The terracotta tiles and the surrounding trees keep it all nicely cool even in the warmest time of the year, so even in June you will barely use the air conditioning.

We were here for New Years so we didnt get to see the beautiful gardens and sunflowers that this area is known for, but we were treated to the kind of hospitality you can only find in Italy. We rented a 2 bedroom suite (#4) and had the place to ourselves. The location is perfect for visiting Cortona, Montalcino, Montipulciano, Assisi and Siena. Next time we come we will definitely plan on coming in spring or summer and take advantage of the pool and picnic grounds - and spend more time relaxing!

We had a great time! The house is beautiful and immaculate. The grounds are gorgeous and the surrounding towns are very quaint. The home owner is very warm and welcoming! He suggested several restaurants that were fun and yummy! Whenever we had a question, he was there with the answer. We were able to take the subway into Rome to go sightseeing. We rented a van and drove to Florence and Pompeii. I would highly recommend staying at Casale Sonnino. I would love to go back during the warm weather in order to take advantage of the outside.

This is probably one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed at in Europe including Rome, Venice, London and Barcelona. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly and present 24 hours a day. There is a fully stocked mini bar which is completely free every day, including orange juice, sodas, beer and four bottles of water And yogurt. There's also free Breakfast cereal, Jam , toast, cookies and sometimes potato chips and fruit oranges. This is an amazing deal. Of course, there is a free coffee machine in every room with coffee, free hot tea. I think they could charge a lot more money for what you get and I'm sure when this becomes more popular they probably will change the prices but right now this is one of my favorite places to stay in all of Europe. There's also a complementary breakfast which includes croissants, bread, and a selection of cured meats. I forgot to add the beds are very comfortable and include a softer pillow and a harder pillow depending on what you like. The bathrooms are very clean and modern with a rain shower included. Highly recommended, five stars!
