I will go to UVA in November to have my scalp removed from my forehead back to the crown. I don't know how extensively it has grown on the sides. But I do know it took years to grow to the extent it has. It is a horror to comtemplate and I would never want anyone to go what I am going through. It won't kill me, but it is going to change my life substantially. Think about this if you still want to make an appointment with Avenues Dermatology for anything other than Botox. Someone should have done a biopsy years ago. So take care and ask for a biopsy if you have a scaly spot that doesn't go away.

I probably should have done a bit more research about LHR and looked at procedure specific reviews for Revee. The Revee aesthetician who treated me assured me LHR would remove most of my upper lip hair. I bought a 6 treatment package and paid for 2 more. The hair initially disappeared gradually as expected. However within a month I saw hair growth. 6 months and $1000 later, almost all my hair grew back. I guess I'll return to waxing..

My right airway works great, my left nostril doesn't collapse, but I only get about 30% of air through my left airway. So instead of being able to barely breathe, I can breathe well through my right airway which is an improvement post surgery. However, from the day I was allowed to breathe post surgery, I told their office I cannot get the same amount of air through my left airway. They kept saying that it will improve with time, unfortunately it hasn't. Pretty disappointing to not get the results I wanted. Do I recommend them...I would say I wouldn't go back to them, but yes. They are professional and very good to work with. No surgery is 100%, but mine ended up not perfect. The issue I have, is them not addressing my concerns about only getting about 20-30% air through my left airway from the beginning. Now the only way to fix this is with another surgery. Maybe I should have gone to the Military docs from the beginning! Lame
